Absolutely no pressure when you're in this store. A truly relaxing shopping experience. Clean, organized, and stocked with lovely souvenirs & clothing. I adore the lovely dresses. Sam will make you feel welcomed - we had a lovely conversation with him, and he even recommended a great family attraction at nearby Coral Cliff, which our 4 year-old thoroughly enjoyed. It's an hours drive from our home in Westmoreland, but we'll be taking our visiting family & friends to Tropical Treasures to shop for souvenirs... and for some tropical outfits for myself from time to time 😉. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

As repeat customers every time we make it off the cruise ship, I can say that this store is the best in all Montego Bay hands down!!! It doesn't matter what you may be searching the high areas for, the Tropical Treasure has your boooooty😜; if not, Sam will find it for you. We visit Jamaica almost every 2 years. We always do our souvenir shopping here. Sam has the best prices and a wide variety of t-shirts, hats, shot glasses, etc. If there is something specific you might need, just ask and he will do his best to get it for you. We love Tropical Treasures ❤️

Sam and his team were very welcoming when we came in the store. They greeted me and my friend with a warm smile and they assisted us with the questions we hade while shopping. Definitely 10/10 out of all the stores I have been to in Montego Bay.

One stop shop! He had everything that we were looking for! Super friendly and took the time to show us everything that we were looking for. One item that I wanted he didn’t have, he went above and beyond to find it and pick it up for me. Wife and store associate were also extra nice and helpful. Gave us free rum shots and rum cake. I had such a great experience walking into this local store to get souvenirs for my family. My friends and I were immediately introduced to the owner, Sam who was the most welcoming while allowing us to roam and shop freely without feeling hassled! (Thanks again for your help Angie!!) As a well traveled individual I never thought would have such a positive experience especially on an Island. Before anyone judges me, I’m also from an island and normally we don’t go out of our ways for customers. Going back to my experience. I was referred to the store by my photographer for great prices and bargain. Sam greeted me as soon as I entered and introduced himself and his wife Angie. As I was trying some clothes on, Sam went as far as getting a municipal metered parking ticket to put on my vehicle. Even after I insisted on letting me do it. I can’t wait to visit this store again in the near future. There are many similar stores on Hip Strip and some would even make you pay more than the item is supposed to be sold for. However, Sam would not stir you wrong. He has been in business for more than 2 decades, and you can see how proud & excited he is to show tourists from all over the world what Jamaican culture is all about. By the way make sure you get the rum cake

We stopped in this shop to buy souvenirs for family and friends. We had been to many other shops but none of them compared to tropical treasures. Owner extremely friendly and knowledgeable about merchandise but not pushy. I found a lot of shops the staff to be pushy but our experience here was very pleasurable. We bought jewelry, gear, coffee and really great gifts. The gifts were exceptional and not like all the same merchandise you find in every other shop. Highly recommend!!!!!don’t forget to stop!

It was Andreas and I first time in Jamaica. Out of all the shops we went in, Sam shop was the best one! Everyone there has great hospitality. I love how Sam heart is in what he do. We really appreciate him giving us a ride to and, from his shop. I will recommend everyone to go to his shop. I can’t wait to go back!

Amazing shop and even more amazing people! On our recent visit to Jamaica we had many highlights, one of which was meeting the people in this shop! Taje and Tamara were so friendly and helpful, Sam sure knew what he was doing when he hired them! We found everything we were looking for: football jerseys, fun shirts and dresses, coffee and mugs, keychains, and more. Whatever you’re looking for this shop not only has it, but it’s a great price and you get to meet the amazing people ♥️

The only place to shop in Montego Bay. Highly recommend ! Of all the shops we went in, this was our favourite! We will be back before we leave to get all our gifts for friends and family (and a few more for us lol). Sam and Tamara make the experience memorable. No pressure, no hovering, just good service! Love the selection. They have something for everyone. Dresses, shirts, magnets, cups(if you're at an all inclusive buy a cup for your liquor), bags, bottle openers, and all with a smile. Go there, don't be fooled by all the other people calling you over. Very happy with all our purchases, and even happier with the service.

Tropical treasures is the best place to buy souvenirs with their wide selection and low prices. Sam and his wife were very kind and accommodating, they even gave us a ride back to our Airbnb. During shopping, we were encouraged to take our time to look around and we were not hassled like in other shops.

Sam was very friendly and helpful! He came recommended to us by a local and we were so happy to have come to this place. Great selection of souvenirs and fair prices! Worth it just for the welcoming service. At the end Sam called a car to pick us up from his shop and take us back to our hotel!

On our last day in Jamaica my sister and I wanted to go shopping so Shane our driver recommended that we go to Tropical Treasures and let me say it was the best recommendation ever!!! Sam greeted us and made us feel at home from the moment we entered his establishment 🥰 after he gave us a brief run down of what he carried and his discounts and deals we was free to shop at peace. While shopping Tamara one of his workers was very helpful in assisting us with different sizes and gifts for our entire family 💕 Once we were done we checked out and wanted to check out some other areas, Sam held our bags so we wouldn’t have to carry them around till we was ready to go. Had a great time shopping at Tropical Treasures. The owner Sam was very friendly and professional. We walked in expecting the same experience as we had with the other gift shops on hip street where they show the retail price on the item that's 3x what it should be and pretend to give you a small discount. Sam was up front and offered the actual bottom price he was willing to sell the item for right off the bat and without playing any games. If you're going souvenir shopping on Hip Street, start with this store. You'll be glad you did.

Sam and Tamara were awesome! They helped us when we asked and they were not the pushy type. You could actually shop in peace! They were very caring toward me because I was pregnant. They offered us cold beverages and a chair to sit down in the cool air conditioning while we waited for our ride. Very clean place and peaceful shopping.
