Both times here, the food was awesome. The service is good. I had the steak that was good and cooked to my preference. Greatly recommend it.

Returned 9/2/22 for my mom's birthday. Continues to be my overall favorite restaurant in Hopkinsville with great staff, food, accommodating diners, and just excellence. New toffee dessert was a huge hit for mom on her birthday!

The corn beef sliders were kinda a let down. Skinny pieces of what looked like lunch meat. The onion rings and sauce were really good. And the fried chicken salad made my night 🌃

First time experience, wonderfully warm atmosphere. Upbeat music. Service was fairly quick. Good drinks, food was exceptional. Blue ribbon steak was ordered medium. Came well done, which was corrected very quickly. One of the if not the best steaks I have had. Will return soon.

Beautiful restaurant. I love the smell when we walked in the door. The whole restaurant felt straight out of a movie. We ate here last night for our anniversary dinner. We are 4 hours for home so had no idea what to try but I am so glad we came to The Local. I had their pretzel that was paired with the most amazing cheese. My husband had the scotch eggs and was very impressed. He then had the crab cake sliders and was obsessing over them while I ate my cheeseburger sliders that were also Fantastic! This restaurant can't be beat in our book! Looking forward to coming back if we ever pass through again! Definitely don't miss this place!

Love it! Great for couples to sit at the bar. Super friendly service. Prices are a bit on the higher end for bar food but everything we tried was really good. Sausage rolls and pretzel were *chef’s kiss*

Had some tasty scottish eggs and the fish tacos for "Taco Tuesday". The pub had a great relaxed atmosphere for a great dinner and a couple of drinks.

Scotch eggs are delicious. Great place to grab a meal if you are downtown.

This place is the real deal. Their food is excellent, and the service is fantastic. If you love potatoes and Guinness there's zero chance you'll leave this place unsatisfied. A+ would eat here in a heartbeat.

I haven’t had food this good in a long time. The chef is amazing. The food is always excellent and the quality is outstanding. Great food, staff and atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

I live in Hopkinsville and we visit The Local often. It is has great atmosphere and friendly service. The menu selection is diverse and the staff are always glad to make suggestions about the daily specials. They have a very nice bar selection. The Local is where the “locals” go to enjoy a night out. It’s one of our go to’s.

Wonderful! You will not be disappointed. We had the pretzel, fish & chips and chicken tender salad. Loved every minute! Great people and service.
