Parking lot full? There's a reason for that. The food is good. The house special Horseshoe Smash is an excellent drink also. Remember the OLD Wendy's commercial "Where's the Beef?" With the Horseshoe Burger it's more like "Where's the Bun?" The meat is THAT big and grilled to order. Building is NOT accessible by ADA standards. Neither are restrooms.

The outside of the restaurant is unassuming. Inside, it is packed with tables and chairs. Which were all filled with people. Feels like your with family. Our waitress was great. There were two of us for dinner. Oh my, this place is sooooo yummy! The steak was so good. I am very particular about my steak, because why pay for it when your dad makes any kind of steak the best tasting steak. WELL, Horseshoe did not disappoint, their steak was so good. My uncle took me and I am so glad he did. Definately another life lesson not to judge a book by its cover.

I enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Very small dining room. So get there with time to spare. My steak was cooked to perfection.

It's okay. They cut their steaks too thin, so they tend to overcook them. I understand it's popular with the locals, but if you're in from out of town and looking for top shelf quality steaks this place can leave a bit to be desired. That being said, it's fine, if a little overpriced.

Bartender was outstanding. Food was outstanding. Table service definitely could have been much better since I told her we were there for our 27th Anniversary and had not been there in years. Beer at bar was a different price than when we were seated. Bartender deserves a tip and our table service didn't. So with that said we will be back for the food and atmosphere and bar service but next time I will question my bill with out waiters!! Didn't want to ruin my night out with my wife on our Anniversary over someone being petty.

We went by but decided not to stay. They could only seat one party at a time. So even though we had a party of two and there were open tables, we were having to wait until a party of eight was seated. Don't be in a hurry if you want to eat here. In addition, their menu quotes market values for the steaks. You expect to pay about $25.00 per person.

The service was truly great. The onion rings were good. The steak filet was bizarrely bad. I am not sure what supplier sold them that filet, but they certainly put one over on them. And then the restaurant put one over on me. It was possibly the worst cut of steak I have ever eaten, and I cook a lot of steak and order out often. I would rate as 1 star if the server had not been so thoughtful. Lesson learned… I will be eating at Chipotle next time I am through here.

Quite possibly one of the worst steaks I’ve ever had. Absolutely flavorless, under cooked. Potato was hard and not cooked the whole way through. Ate what I could and left, if I’m through the area again I’ll definitely go somewhere else

I was not impressed at all. I requested the "GRILLED" mushrooms. They were not fresh mushrooms. They were the rubbery canned ones that were not even warm. My friend got a salad and the bacon bits were imitation. The filet was less than average, and the sides were late getting to the table. The place was so very dark and crowded. Way too many tables. It would be a disaster in case of an emergency. The food, atmosphere and experience as a whole was worth no more than a third of the $100. PLUS I paid for two people. Lesson learned.

Way overpriced! Extremely noisy! You can't even hear yourself think and the waitress can't even hear you order. Steaks have no prices and when they come out. Their flat or undercooked. Loaded baked potatoes were the highpoint of the visit. A 10oz ribeye that was as thick as a sheet of paper. A 7oz sirloin that was raw. Two baked potatoes. Two salads and two sodas shouldn't cost $60.

A gem of a restaurant in Hopkinsville. I've been here twice, and both times the food was just fantastic! Also, we had such great service...the server was so friendly, and efficient! Try the deep fried green beans, as an appetizer. .they are fabulous 🙌

I only gave a 3 star because I haven't eaten here in over 30 yrs. I took my Prom date here back in 1981 because at that time, this was "THE PLACE" for a great Steak! Yes, there was always a wait, limited parking, and small and rustic but oh soo delicious! Other than Cliff Hagans Ribeye the only competition it had was in Oak Grove. I hope to visit this place again so I can give it an actual up to date review but it has a 5 star rating for now in my memory. :)

I love this place. It's one of the best steakhouse I have been. It's not fancy and I like it like that. I haven't been since the late 90s or early 2000s. Makes me want a road trip. I hope they haven't changed things and wish they were closer. GREAT FOOD!!! COLD BEER!!

Tiny dining room leads to a louder than normal restaurant but you can still talk. Great service and the staff was always moving and checking up on patrons. Food was good, I ordered the ribeye and it was cooked to my request. Sides were generous and tasty. Steaks are market price so you either ask the price or find out on the ticket

I can't say it's a hidden gem, because it's very popular, but I think it's a hidden gem for people in Clarksville. It's a bit of a drive, but worth it. Great service, great little small, quaint dining area. Feels like you're at a big family dinner and everyone is sitting around eating and talking. I have to admit and say it wasn't the best ribeye I e ever had, but the sirloin was really good and tender. The sides were great and really good portions. Can't wait to come back for a burger and fries!

The quality of the ribeye wasn't good and it had no flavor. The vegetables were over cooked and the chicken tenders werent very good. I ordered a bourbon and it was only a 1oz pour for $7.00. But the service was great.

The food was great and the place was packed. That should tell you how great the food is. The jukebox was playing and everyone was feeling happy. This place has been here for as long as I can remember. It is a special place for the community. This is where all the locals eat.

Ordered a sirloin medium rare. It was delivered raw. No juices running at all. Grilled chicken salad tasted as if the chicken had been cooked days prior. Salad had a bad refrigerator taste. Our server was excellent. Providing refills quickly.

Good steak, good prices, and good service. We did something we usually try to avoid and arrived a half hr bf close. Even so, the waitresses were very friendly as if it was 7p instead of 930p.

Wonderful steaks, cool place, waitress while pleasant enough but forgot salads (came after dinner), lemons in water/tea, napkins... she asked if everything was ok after we about done and had someone else handle the check. We didn't mind that so much, we all need a break now and then, but no apologies! ?

We didn't get to eat there but when you walk in and tables don't have anyone sitting at it and they tell you it will be an hour wait, would you go some place else? We thought about it. Got a menu, saw that the prices were high, then not having a place to sit and wait was only in your car. Told us that they were not serious about having a good restaurant. To many red flags! NO THANK YOU! Got home and looked at their reviews.... um I highly recommend READ REVIEWS. It can twll you a lot. Ranging from bad service to bad meals.

It's a neat little restaurant with friendly staff. The food however was not much to talk about. I'm a firm believer that if you have to use steak sauce it's not worth it. The steak had zero flavor and was under cooked and I ordered medium rare.

It was our first visit. We were able to walk right in at 4pm. Our waitress was good. The steaks were good after we finally got them. Somehow our order for our steaks got lost. And we were definitely there at lot longer than we anticipated. They did without asking knocked off an amount on our bill because of their mistake. The steaks were truly a prime cut of meat. They were cooked good. Could have used a little more seasoning or marinating. Baked potato was loaded and good. And our salad was good.

Step back to the mid 60’s in this steakhouse/bar (that’s not really trying to be retro). I had the ribeye, it was really good. Service was excellent. If you’re in the Hopkinsville area I recommend this establishment.

5 star service 3.5 star food. Food was alright, but the steaks are pretty grisly. The fried pickles are dry cut and probably the best fried pickles I’ve had. It’s crowded and plan on a wait every time.

We were really excited to try this restaurant, but left disappointed. We ordered ribeyes, they were cooked perfectly but bland with very little seasoning (if any). The steaks also had a very distinct propane flavor. The atmosphere was very loud and cafeteria/bar like, we could hardly hear each other. For the price we paid, we were very disappointed.

Excellent meal and service. IMO Music was to loud, background music is nice, when it's that loud you get tired of yelling at the ppl your dinning with to have a conversation. But it was Saturday, but also only 4pm.🤷‍♀️ Not sure if they offer curbside pick up, or if there's outdoor seating. But after not going for about 10 years we decided to return and this is our 3rd visit in last 12 months and haven't been disappointed yet.
