I used to love the Horseshoe, but the last 2 times it SUCKED. Last time was on New years eve, we waited for about 30 mins.to get a table and that was the good part. There was 4 of us in our party, we All ordered steaks and EVERYONE of them was COLD,NOT WARM. the fries we got was the hottest things on the plate. but we did'nt go there for hot french fries.I will NEVER go back.Oh how times has change.

I can’t comment on the food as we left! I had a Stroke a couple of years ago and ALMOST never go out since! Today was a good day and I wanted to go out so we went here as I’ve always loved the food there. After getting out of the car, walking in and taking the first seat I could since walking and all is a feat itself, the waitress started telling us we needed to go to another table. We told her I had a Stroke and just wanted the 1st seat possible she then insisted that we move to the booth next to us. No the table was not reserved. I am a large person & can’t do booths but at this point not only was I ready to leave I was ready to go home period! This was the worst experience ever! No wonder I never go anywhere!!!!

Karson our server was awesome. The steaks were a perfect medium rare. Juicy and flavorful. We started with a tasty shrimp cocktail and a fresh house salad. The prices were reasonable. The dinning room is small, cozy and a bit noisy. You will enjoy your meal.

If you’re looking for a GREAT “hole in the wall” restaurant, this is your place! When we walked in we were taken back by the size and decor of the restaurant, but don’t let that deter you , the food , service and cocktails were AMAZING. My husband steak was seasoned well and cooked to perfection along with my patty melt. Will definitely be back

So happy I found this place. Small and intimate with great service. Got the steak with all the sides and it was delicious. No nonsense and cooked just right. I left full and satisfied. The next time I'm back in this part of the country I'm coming back.

The outside of the restaurant is unassuming. Inside, it is packed with tables and chairs. Which were all filled with people. Feels like your with family. Our waitress was great. There were two of us for dinner. Oh my, this place is sooooo yummy! The steak was so good. I am very particular about my steak, because why pay for it when your dad makes any kind of steak the best tasting steak. WELL, Horseshoe did not disappoint, their steak was so good. My uncle took me and I am so glad he did. Definately another life lesson not to judge a book by its cover.

The service was excellent and the food was great. Small but the best steak house in hopkinsville (I've tried them all).

There's a reason this place has been around since 1969, it's because the steak is excellent as well as those incredible hash browns. Shrimp cocktail and 10 oz ribeye were delicious too. Chef's definitely know what they're doing. Took a while to get seated and waited on, but service was efficient after that. Cady is a friendly and professional server.
