The waterfall is beautiful (perhaps the best in this part of the Black Forest), if somewhat busy with tourists. The Burgbachfelsen nearby is easily accessible and nowhere near as acrophobia-inducing as it might seem from below; it has a nice little picnic area on it.

The hike is not hard or too far, the great thing that I never saw on a hike before was a rest area with cold beer. This was fun and beautiful.

Beautiful little waterfall, like a small fairy tail. Small walk from the parking spot, a nice self-service 'bar' cooled with water from the waterfall halfway down the walk. Many other walking paths available from the same parking location.

Free parking. Free entrance to the waterfall. We hiked with our 3yo & 3mo. Took about 30 min to reach up. It was right amount of walking. Little kids will be amazed.

Another hidden gem in the schwarzwald. It has a nice hiking trial leading to a waterfall and then a short hike to go higher up to a viewing station with a cool view of the valley. Can be done in half a day. Has enough place to grab a snack and kids loved it. I liked the fact that the water is easily reachable at the falls too

All round the year, this waterfall just seems to live in greens. Just some off days in winter coated with white, the trees decorated with moss and fungi around (you will see a different ambience in trees when you walk to Burgbachfelsen). The waterfall is unique in its way , with trees in front of it as doors.

It was a nice place to go and its not so far away from the street. The are a lot of parking spots around and not many people visit it. I would encourage to explore not only the fall but also other routes. The views are amazing in a clear day if you climb high enough. In general a pretty good experience and an even more enjoyable if you go with someone.

Easy and fun hike w/designated parkplatz. Bench and a lounger at the base of the falls, gazebo with picnic area nearby add to the experience.

Such a lovely and peaceful place where the water flows in the valley.

Lovely waterfall in the Black Forest. Rather short hiking trail from the parking area with a moderate ascent. Perfect adventure for children.

Nice place, easy route to walk (about 40 minutes one way), but not suitable for small children or disabled people.

A lovely and simple hike. The waterfall is quite beautiful. Shady and cool, with benches perfect for a picnic! Off the beaten path, so very few other people when we went, even though it was the height of summer vacation.

If you want to visit the waterfalls, it is a short 20 min walk from the Parking. However, there are other possibilities of longer hike. The waterfall is absolutely beautiful. Definitely recommend.
