I didn't know where else to post this but this year's panto at the capitol was exceptional, John partridge was incredible, so was the rest of the team and the direction. Thanks to the capitol for putting it on. Fantastic all round

I really like how this cinema has a classic atmosphere with its design. The waiting area is so cozy and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

We went to the Capitol to see the panto this year, which was Beauty and the Beast. It was brilliant, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! The cast was fantastic, and we even got a photo with them at the end. Thank you for a great experience.

A great venue blending the old theatre architecture in a modern shell. Always happy with seating in the main theatre as the raking is excellent so views and acoustics are good. Only issue would be there is more often than not a huge queue for the bar. The staff do well but it's a small bar for a big theatre...

Excellent panto - first class acting, singing and dancing, lovely costumes, lighting and set, great sound and music. A very funny script and everything performed with great energy and professionalism. A really enjoyable experience for us all, ranging in age from 4 to 86. Thanks to all involved.

The shows are great. Went and saw Beauty and the best great show for a laugh. The seats are very crowded. But apart from that it's very good

Now I'm always torn about the capital, its pricey and rarely shows films I actually want to see. But I thought the panto was amazing! Lots of adults jokes that my sons didn't understand 😂 thankfully. Amazing tree in reception. 5/5 for the panto and cast!

Great community theatre and cinema. Lots of good comedy acts. The bar is reasonably priced with a good selection. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A great asset to the town.
