Friendly & helpful staff. Very quiet location. Spacious room with all the expected comforts. Indoor pool & spa is a must do after the day's travelling to unwind & relax.

I loved the contact from booking to arrival...personable and professional...the room was large and clean...really comfortable and so reasonably priced...

Room 33 was clean, tidy, no smell, with very comfortable beds and pillows. Shower and toilets were clean. Toilet is separated from shower which is convenient. Water was hot and good flow. It was better than I was expecting.

We booked this place because it had a pool and spa. It was advertised as open until 8 pm, but the receptionist closed at 6 pm as he wanted to go home. He also admitted to trying to charge our credit card before us arriving ... who knows if he was successful, may have left before we arrived. Room walls were paper thin, sounded like our neighbors were playing musical chairs upstairs. Couldn't even park outside the room. Plenty of other options around.

Great location and staff. Welcoming from first walking in to following up. Bed was really comfortable, room was clean and large and shower had great pressure and heat.

Excellent service, unfortunately the standard rooms are dated and the noise from the road is fairly loud. The other room types might be better as they look newer from the outside. That said, the cost is quite low and fair.

Stayed here for one night while passing through town and was pleasantly surprised. Very clean rooms, exceptionally comfortable bed, pillows and doona and super clean. Only downside was only one bedside table and although bed had dual electric blanket there was only one power point under the bed. No power points bedside for charging phones. Otherwise we were really happy for the price. Staff was friendly too.

We arrived, were greeted by Ceaser, so helpful with thing's to do in the area.This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. Wouldn't stay anywhere else, great value, comfy beds.

Room was very clean. Shower had excellent pressure. The bed was very comfortable. Wi-Fi kept dropping out. Freezer was too small to take our cans. The motor Inn is only 3 minutes away from the Horsham golf club.

Overnight enroute to Melbourne....big enough rooms ...looks nice as u enter....fairly quiet..not far from town... absolutely filthy carpet and very outdated... panels on shower door broken...comfy beds....parking was awful...could not park in front of our unit

Thank you so much for arranging my stay so last minte and late at night I just couldnt have driven any further. Lovely room, comfy bed, clean. The owner fit me in at midnight after travelling from Adelaide. The motel is clean, great room, comfy bed, clean towels, good shower, parking, in a good location too. Very nice.

Good honest accommodation. If arriving late, there is a key safe. Wifi is available, though on this occasion, I found that it was disconnected whilst doing some work in the evening. Beds are comfortable, and body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are provided. If you are easily woken by passing trucks, ear plugs are a must.

Rooms are very clean, compact and very comfortable . Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Nice room, comfortable bed, good water pressure, hostess was very friendly and welcoming. Easy drive into Horsham town centre, restaurant wasn't open so we went into town for some chinese.

An overnight stop on a road trip to Melbourne, at $150 it was reasonable value. The place itself is located on the outskirts of Horsham near the Highway and in a somewhat industrial area. It has the standard double double rows of rooms. Booking in was no fuss. The room was relatively large to allow freedom of movement. Some of the hotel consumables - shower floor mat, sink plug etc had clearly passed their use by date. Noticed that the fridge was turned right down so the ice tray contents were melted. Bed was comfortable and had a great nights sleep here.

Handy country motel with a sneaky back entrance. Rooms were clean, in good condition and stocked with all the necessities including a brand new aircon and a microwave. The only downside is you can hear the people in adjacent rooms above and to the side moving around on the floorboards, not fun when the person in the next room is leaving at 5am.

Great motel clean rooms great water pressure in the shower fluffy towels and nice comfy bed also had a great roast lamb dinner bought to my room

Our Probus Club members (37 on this trip) had a fabulous stay at The Great Western in Horsham. Our rooms were excellent and the staff were extremely helpful with our luggage and pharmacy needs. The food, both dinner and breakfast, was great too and expertly handled, as we were all served within minutes of each other - pretty good for a large group. We were able to use a covered area for casual drinks and get- togethers. Highly recommend. The mattress had a hole in it with the a broken spring sticking out. And must be noticeable to room service who make the bed. You could hear hear people walking around in next room due to the floor boards squeaking. No complimentary snacks or water to make tea or coffee. No phone in room. No mini bar. Could see the wall had be only half painted. Tears in curtains. Really could do with a makeover. And the pillows were way too soft.

They were very accommodating for us to check in late and extended out check out time for us as we had driven several hours to attend a funeral. Sadly though the room looked nice and inviting but smelt like a locker room of smelly socks. The bathroom stunk like a urinal, the mattress was very hard and uncomfortable and the hot water in the shower was only tepid and that was with only the hot water tap on and the cold water tap was off! Sadly a very disappointing experience. 😥

Best Westlander Horsham is great place for stopover between Adelaide and Spirit of Tasmania, we stayed 1 night each way. Comfortable, clean rooms. Bonus indoor heated pool & spa, rare to find a pool in winter, off peak. Lovely, friendly owners, good value. Perfect for us, enjoyed our 2 nights, restaurant is not open. August 2022

Customer service....zero, may be the lady was tired but she offered no attempt to offer any sort of tourism to her region. No desire to be interested in her guests at all. Room tidy and ok for a 3.5*, a little distance from town, no outside chairs to sit on. If you want to be left alone this is the place to go.

Very noisy and there is a pipe rattle noise coming from somewhere. The floors are squeaky. The rooms are clean and the water pressure in the shower is very good.

Went to see family members who are staying here. Their room was a pleasure to see, very comfortable. They were being looked after very well.

Pleasant and efficient at the front desk. Room average size, but with lounge chair and small table and chairs. Cosy bathroom and shower. Everything nice and clean, comfy bed. On outskirts of town.

Fantastic linen and comfortable beds, really friendly staff, we had a caravan on and there was heaps of room to park her for the night. The spa and pool were nice and warm. It was a last minute stop over and it was 5 out of 5.
