Situated on the highway a good place to take a break for lunch/dinner during a long drive. The taste of food is ok and service is good. Family section is on the first floor as there is a hard drinks area on the ground floor. With reasonably priced food items, nihal restaurant is a good stop for food/snacks/drinks for groups travelling with family or friends.

I expected very tasty food at this place when I visited, but the food was very ordinary, especially the shew bhaji (a favourite of my friend) was like khara mixture (shew) dipped in sugar and milk , and the starters were gobi and something similar to mixed snacks (I am not sure of the exact name), making it more like street food. The water bottles were not cold enough and there wasn't much cold drinks available, so it wasn't worth the trip from Bijapur to this place approximately 45 km away to have this kind of food, although the ambiance is good, and the service is also good.

Food was good with reasonable pricing. Vegetarian items were better compared to Non-vegetarians. The ambience is interesting with bamboo sticks.

Very good taste and clean I love all activities in this restaurant .. This restaurant owner was very kindly person and valuable person ..he managed all very good. All once visit and check taste.

Ordered for Vegetarian and food was good with nice taste, this place has got good ambiance with bamboos and spacious seating capacity with good space for parking too for cars, tea stall outside the restaurant also has got good taste which is served in clay pots (matkha chai) prices were bit higher than other highway restaurants but worthy for the taste they provide
