Came here on a Friday dinner time with a friend, and it was pretty hard to navigate here by foot from MRT and through the HDBs. Interesting concept of an Izakaya in the hood. Despite sitting indoors, it was really, really hot . Probably should take outdoor seating instead. Water is not complimentary. 🍡 Ordered a few skewers to try, and the mushrooms were quite good! Nicely flavoured. Mentaiko salmon was generous with mentaiko mayo as well. Peppers were small and quite botanical. Averaging $2.50 ~ $4 a stick, it's quite affordable compared to other izakayas, but portion size is rather small. I rate: 3.5/5 🌟 🥔 Potato Mochi was pretty interesting. The price is quite high, taste wise is good, though. It's probably one of the more impressionable dishes. I rate: 4/5 🌟 🥗 Salmon Avocado Salad was okay. 4 Salmon slices were quite thick, and sprinkled with sesame seeds over half an Avocado. Vegetables are halved cherry tomatoes, lettuce and some Cucumber shreds of Sesame kewpie sauce. Taste wise is pretty meh. Value is okay. I rate: 3/5 🌟 🍸 Ginger Ale was surprisingly good though! Large bubbly glass of sweef ginger ale. 🫚 Super refreshing. I rate: 4.5/5 🌟

Salmon mentai skewers $6 - average Beef skewer $4 - Small n too damn dry Grilled pork belly $10 - average Katsu Don $10.50 - not good for my kidney. On the salty side. Like legit even with the rice it doesn't help. Tamago mentai 6pcs $12 - average. 1 piece for $2. Portion is quite small. not very worth it. Go genki eat ba. This place charges GST on top of the menu prices above. Not a place I would come back cos it's not value for money in a neighbourhood setting. Total damage to wallet : $44 for 2 pax. Maybe offering free green tea may cushion it a little. Else, I think this place is just for drinking. What's good though? Location & got washroom.

Had a great time with my friends over some dishes and beer here. The skewers were good and the portion was pretty decent. The karaage was coated lightly so it crispy outside yet juicy inside. The place has quite a cozy and chill vibe.

Wonderful service with complimentary birthday cake and also very prompt replies when I asked to increase no. Of persons. Food is great. Place a bit small but overall it's really good!! $31/pax

I was asked to look for a convenient place for my friends and somehow found this izakaya below a HDB... how rare is that? Beers were of a good price with a pint of Sapporo at $9.50. and food were all pretty reasonably priced as well. Service was good, although it took some time for our skewers to arrive. It may not be the best but for the price, it's still pretty value for money. Only thing was the Yebisu beer (which me and my friend happens to love) being priced at $15 per pint. This did not dampen our mood and we even had a chat with one of their staffs and luckily managed to get ourselves a free beer glass! Definitely will be here again if we are around the area!

First time here for dinner and the foods are great! We ordered Katsu Curry Udon, Tonkatsu Curry Rice Bowl and Salmon Teriyaki Rice Bowl. It comes with miso soup for all. The Katsu and Tonkatsu are crispy and my kid loves the salmon teriyaki too. 👍🏾👍🏾 Dinner time is pretty packed so better to call and reserve a table for any disappointment. It is ordered via QR code and makes payment with a credit card or Apple Pay through the ordering site. The happy hour is till 7pm daily with 20% off on alcoholic beverages.

Food was decent. My favourite was the potato mochi. However, service is a bit slow. One thing that baffled me was that the ikura somen took longer than expected to come.
