Don't be fooled by the positive reviews. I found no less than 3 written by the manager. Look at the names of the positive reviews. You will find that all have something in common. This place is FILTHY!. Would give 0 stars if I could .TV barely worked, all the sheets and towels were stained. (I had to ask for towels 3 times before I got them and ended up not using them they were so stained.) Mold in the bathroom and the caulk around the tub falling out. Room was all tore up scrapes and burns from candles all over the walls. You can get a pretty good contact high walking down the halls. If you want it a little quicker, spend some time in the elevator. I asked for a different room and was denied. When I canceled my second night I was offered a different room. The only plus is pets stay free. It was worth the extra $10 a night to switch to the La Quinta Inn. Clean, pets stay free and didn't have to worry about popping positive.

My family & I stayed at this location for 2 weeks after hurricane Laura destroyed our home. The rooms are great for the price & the location is in the center of everything! I love that fact that the dad is always cleaning & the son (manager) was so nice and very knowledgeable!! Now after we checked out an hour into our drive I realized my daughter left a custom painting of our family dog which is very sentimental do to the fact our dog died. I called the hotel around 2:00pm which means the housekeepers was still there until 5pm. The clerk kept putting me on hold and stop answering my calls. The next day I called and spoke to a different clerk who informed me that no one left a note so I had to explain all over again after I explained she says ma’am I’m to busy and besides someone already checked in the room so we can’t look until they check out. WOW!! Just leave your number we’ll call you back. Let’s just say it’s going on day 3 and I’m still waiting. When I asked for the manager she didn’t respond. I lost a lot due to Laura and it’s crazy how the staff was nice while there but once we checked out we’re getting treated like just another customer.

It was a pleasure to stay here. Excellent service from arrival to departure. Staff is very professional, friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean with modern furniture and with all amenities you may need. The bed was ,,King-size'' and very comfortable for sleep.Free WiFi works perfectly. The hotel restaurant had a great buffet breakfast, also provided a continental breakfast for the early departure. Had a such a great and pleasent experience. Thank you so much.

Our experience with this hotel was dreadful to say the least. After completing check in, the hallway to the elevator, as well as the elevator itself, reeked of marijuana. Which made my pregnant wife sick. Upon entering our room, we noticed scorch marks on two different walls and noticed the alarm clock was broken. After my wife getting sick she just wanted to take a shower and lay down. She noticed the towels were dirty and had dried urine stains on them. I took them to the desk clerk to exchange them for clean ones. Which the clerk replied with “I’m just here to do MY job”. After a further exchange and receiving newer towels I went back to the room only to discover that these towels were dirty and stained as well. My wife just decided to go to bed, as we had a long day on the road. At this point it was around midnight and the neighboring room was obnoxiously loud and inconsiderate while another room’s guests were constantly running around the halls, traveling between rooms. After a while, I went downstairs to retrieve my phone charger from the car. When outside I observed a man of undesirable demeanor between cars, looking at them, while playing loud music from his own vehicle improperly parked. I looked at the exterior walls of the hotel and realized their security cameras were lacking. As a Military Veteran, I try to be aware of the situation and lacking advantages. I retrieved my charger and hoped our car wasn’t going to be broken into while back upstairs. Back in the hotel room, it seemed like every time we tried to close our eyes for sleep, the neighbors acted up and got noisy again. At about three in the morning it finally quieted down. At about seven in the morning the noise picked back up. Upon groggily waking up, I noticed bed bug bites on my left arm. That was the last straw and we checked out immediately. Given the entirety of our experience, I would give this place a 0/5. However, the minimal amount allowed is one star. What I would recommend this hotel should do is have a noise curfew in the later hours like the Days Inn, bug bomb the rooms, and ensure clean towels and linens for their guests. But until they do, learn from our mistake and don’t stay here.

This hotel has bed bugs!!! We stayed here for a fishing trip and it was cut short due to me receiving 15+ bug bites. My fiancé also received a few bites. The bites are all over my face, arms, and hands. We woke up at 3 AM and stripped the bed to find red bugs AND bed bugs. Luckily, the hotel did give us our money back for our stay. The owner mentioned that he will have pest control spray the room, but bed bugs move from room to room. They offered us another room to stay in, but we went home instead. On top of it all, the entire 2nd floor smelled strongly of cigarettes, our air conditioner never cooled our room off entirely, and the people in the rooms next to us were extremely loud both day and night. Also, our shower water was always lukewarm, never got hot.

Blood stains on the duvet, air conditioner set to 20°F and still wouldn't cool down. Water and mold stains on the ceiling. Folks yelling in the hallway all night long. The pictures of newly renovated rooms seems like a joke, compared to the room we are staying in. Feels like false advertisement to me.

We originally had a room with double beds for our daughter and 3 grands to stay the night here for our wedding. But they could not make it down from out of state.we had the room changed to a king size cause our wedding party decided instead of a waste my wife and I would go away for the night. The door was very hard to lock. And just see the rest of the pics. It speaks for its self. We did not complain at all about it cause it was a good gesture for us to spend our wedding night together. About 20mins upon arrival to the room the front desk called and asked if we had any issues with our water and bathroom. There were none. The staff there is great no complaints of them at all!

Surprisingly comfortable little gem on the east side of Houma. I travel there for work from time to time and there are shockingly few options in hotels. Any time I’m not staying at a Marriott or Hilton property, I feel a little twinge of fear. This place was very clean, smelled great, and was in good condition. I’ve stayed here twice already and will continue to do so when I travel for work. Keep up the good work. Pricing is great too!

It was cheap is the only nice thing. The room smelt when we checked in like wet dog but being that it was a pet friendly hotel and we had a pet I figured ok they gave us a pet room bc we have a pet no big deal. The staff was super invasive watching me when I was outside smoking or walking my dog. Knocking on the door 3 times a day after I said do not disturb. My man works nights and needs his rest during the day bc this was no vacation we were there for a work trip . Then to top it off they lied to get us out of the room saying there was a leak in the room above us after we moved from down stairs to upstairs they tried to charge us for the smelly room saying we need to let the maid in everyday or leave after we had asked for a refund the previous day bc we wanted to go to a better hotel but they said no refund now they said if we leave in 20 mins we can have a refund. We gladly left but also mind u I was on an important call while all this was happening dealing w moving our stuff from downstairs to upstairs then back down to the car ... Will never stay there again. I hope this was just an isolated incedsnt but it was not a nice stay for us to be bothered watched then called smelly. We have never had an issue at any hotels we have stayed at for his work trips. We actually got a call from a previous hotel we stayed at asking if we were coming back. God is good it was perfect timing.

The room was nasty the floors we're sticky, the tv didn't work until the manager fixed it, we couldn't get any sleep because of people slamming doors, at night the parking lot people hanging out in it and people would prop the exit door open with something so people could sneak in the building. We came in one night our room had not been cleaned, our dirty towels was setting on my night stand, the bed was not made up, the trash had not been taken out! Overall it's a very nasty hotel, i will say the staff was nice. Housekeeping on the other hand was very poor! I would not recommend this place to anyone!

There has been no better location to stay than this place. If I had to come back again on vacations it would be to stay for myself or with my with my friends at this comfortable hotel. I highly recommended this place.

Customer service was fine, but as you can see in these pics the room wasn’t clean. I took 2 pics of the bed spread and I don’t know what that is. The towel pic is the dirt on the floor when I used it to walk around on to see how dirty it was. Seems it hasn’t been mopped in weeks. The beds suck but the amenities were ok.
