The billing office is horrible. My account was turned over to collections because of nonpayment. The insurance claim was not paid because it had been submitted incorrectly for 2 different doctors. Insurance company advised UT Physicians of the problems requesting corrected claims to be submitted. One doctor submitted a copy of the original claim with no corrections and the other doctor didn't even bother to submit another claim. The overdue balance has been turned over to a collections and I believe it will be reported to the Credit Bureau. What a joke! When I called asking to have the issue escalated, I had to ask multiple times to speak to a supervisor and then was informed that a supervisor was unavailable and my call would be returned in 24-48 hours. They've had the information on how to get the bills paid for probably 6 months or longer. Inevitably when the supervisor does call if they call, I will not be able to take the call or won't be home with the information needed in order to discuss the problem. The billing for this office is frustrating, aggravating and irritating. And why must I give them any star in order to get my review posted.

It is a total scam, especially their billing department. The staff in the billing department are horrible and have no sense of respect or courtesy for the patients. It is an absolute nightmare calling them to fix an issue. I was wrongly billed for an office visit with Dr. Alvaro Montealegre and after telling them several times and being with them on phone for several hours, they still sent that bill amount to collection without paying any attention to my words, absolutely disgusting!! I had to place numerous complaint about that bill and every time they will come with same answers that I am responsible for the amount. Finally, after wasting several hours and energy, they removed that amount 1.5 years after the date of service. Then I had another bill which they sent to collection, and no one was able to explain why I have that outstanding balance except the fact that I had a tele visit with another UT doctor. Avoid UT at any cost if you can find another hospital or stand-alone clinics which have wonderful doctors. It is not worth to pay even a penny to this fraud system.

Staff are very helpful & friendly to all the patients. Service without attitude. They let you know how long your wait times are more or less. Robert was who I saw for my knee. He was very careful & patient & understanding about my issues. Felt very Confident with his opinion.

This was my first visit to establish care with a new PCP. I am very pleased. Beyond satisfied. Angela took her time with me and allowed me to ask an array of questions about my overall health. I felt extremely heard and even understood! Angela demonstrated proper cultural competency in practice. Everyone in the facility was nice from the two receptionist all the way to the nursing staff who took the time to laugh at all my horrible jokes. What an amazing treatment team. Thank you all!

Dr Eastman and his team are the best! I went into hospital from an accident that caused a broken pelvis. The pain was unbearable when they, the nurses, were trying to change sheets or just for me to go in for some type of scan. After surgery, immediately, I felt the difference. The big test was when I had to go in for another CT scan. They had to put me on my side to place the board and I was in disbelief, yes, there was pain but it was a pain that was tolerable. If you are looking for a doctor that listens, explains and understands your concerns, please consider going or contacting UT Physicians for your caring needs!

Very thoughtful and thorough new patient visit. Dr. Murali took the time to understand the root cause of my concerns. In fact, it was the longest that I’ve ever spoken to a physician. I would highly recommend him.

Angela Rutherford took the time to listen to my concerns and provide me with tools that will help me in my health journey. She was very thorough, caring and knowledgeable. Her patience and willingness to educate me left me feeling confident in my ability to nurse myself back to better health with her guidance. She is fantastic at what she does, and I’m glad I scheduled an appointment with her.

If I was just reviewing the doctors I visited I'd give 4 stars. They had a great demeanor and seemed well informed. The billing and business practices are predatory. I have experienced multiple issues with being overbilled, even after calling and being assured it would be addressed. They will tell you they are working on an issue only to send it to creditors to add more headache to the patient because of their mistakes. Seeing other 1 star reviews with the same pattern of behavior leads me to believe this is standard practice - they will overbill the patient and hope that they don't notice. Be very careful if you choose to see them or be okay with paying 50+% more than estimates. If you do not want to spend hours calling them multiple times across multiple months or get overbilled by hundreds of dollars, do not visit/trust UT Physicians.

Dr. James M. Gregory of UT Physicians & Team members are the best. I had reverse shoulder surgery, 1 year ago, & pain free since surgery. Dr. Gregory & staff are informative & trust worthy, & caring as well. 😊👏👏

I was trying to Establish my care here. First appointment with Dr. Elliot had to wait 3 hours just for him to send me some bloodwork. He told me he will see me in a week, this was 08/01 I’ve been trying to get an appointment with him or any other doctor at UT and I haven’t been able to. To the point that I was hospitalized. Horrible patients experience. every time I call, they tell me they will call back. But, they never do. Today when I call, they told me next available appointment is nov 25.

Angela Rutherford, at UT Physicians, is a brilliant and talented clinician. She has given me five-star care ever since I started seeing her approx. 5 years ago. Not only is she thorough and knowledgeable, she is incredibly kind, empowering, and sensitive to my thoughts and goals. I recommend her to friends and family members whenever we talk about medical care.

Angela always listens to me, and offers the very best advice and any necessary treatment plans that maybe needed. The front desk staff are also very helpful and pleasant, especially Maria and Sandra. You won’t go wrong in choosing this practice for your healthcare!

I rarely write reviews but I did not have a good experience with the billing department. I feel bad because I had a good experience with Dr. Sabonghy. However, I kept receiving bills months after the visit with little detail of what it was or why. There was also one bill that I received months later after the visit. At no point did it say the bill was late. I paid the bill and then several days after paying it, I received a letter that I was sent to collections (with no notice or warning). It was such a strange experience. I've never had this happen before. I ended up calling the billing office and they were kind about this and apologized for the mess up. However, it's really disappointing to me that this happened and then I had to dispute the collections and prove that I had paid the bill. The billing department really needs to improve. If a bill is late, it should be clear it's late or there should be some warning before something gets sent to collections. Most importantly, don't send something to collections, if it's been paid! Receiving bills months after the service was also disappointing.

The experience was consistent with previous visits in that it was highly professional and expedient. This particular visit included another level of service as the front office teammates, Becky and Brittany provided coding info that will enhance and expedite the FSA/HSA reimbursement process with my insurance provider.

Not a thing I would change about my care. Dr. Eastman and his entire team are organized, professional, patient and very good at their jobs. I’m 6 months out from major surgery and I’m so thankful for everything they’ve done from that first day in the hospital/ER until now.

Doctor Eastman takes his time with me. Was very supportive of my pt. He also was in agreement of my return to work date. He encouraged me to keep working on getting my ankle back to where it is suppose to be. The staff in this office goes above and beyond helpful. I thought my appointment was on Wednesday and called because I was running late. The Wonderful Young Lady called me, could not reach me then called my husband. One of the best places I have been for care, after 9 surgeries in 8 years, I know good care.

Terrible service. I called the front desk for a nurse appointment, and she noted all the details, and the nurse never called back. This issue happened several times. The front desk people need to be more helpful. They predict recording the case every time I call, but I receive no follow-up calls. I will switch my doctor.
