The customer service was beyond great, the staff provided great options for my taste palate and were very nice and welcoming. The atmosphere in the cafe was warm and cozy, they had nice calm music playing in the background. I ordered the ricotta & berry toast and Texas blossom, what a great combo!! In my opinion, both of these items compliment each other. From the staff to the food, overall it was an amazing experience!!! This will be my new go to coffee spot.

Great new find in the downtown area close to UH! I really love the interior- it has that cozy coffee shop but also a bit modern with good lighting from the large windows. There is ample seating inside, outlets, and good wifi. Food & Drinks: I appreciate that they have a wide variety of coffee, drinks, food, and pastries. I usually get the chai latte. Their pastries and cookies are made fresh (daily, I think)- I've tried their banana nut bread and a mixed chocolate cookie (forgot the name but i. The banana bread had a bit too much banana for my liking but did the job. The cookie was tasty and very filling/large. Service: warm, friendly, and really helpful! The last who took my order was really patient and helpful with giving recommendations and was informed about how they were prepared. I really appreciated that. Parking: It's mainly street parking which appears to be paid (but I saw some other reviews where there is free street parking... I haven't found that yet. I should probably ask the cafe staff next time) I got lucky on my first visit when I came after 5:30 pm on a weekday and parking was free at that point- I was able to easily find street parking. Wasn't so lucky the second time around. Great addition to h-town, 100% recommend a visit.

Imagine this: you’re having a good day, you’re in Downtown Houston, the sun is out, you make a right onto Main Street and you immediately spot it… The Fifth Vessel Coffee Shop. Your day just went from good to GREAT! Not only is the aesthetic on point, but the food is incredible! I’ve had the ham and cheese croissant, sausage roll, scone… so good. This has the best chai in town… definitely a go to in the Houston area!

A coworker brought me an iced Bonito. 😳😳 It was literally the best coffee I've ever tasted. He told me that their food is fantastic and the atmosphere is great chill spot. He also says the staff is super friendly. I can't wait to go in person, and by the taste of this coffee, it will be sooner than later!

I had an SUA DOA Vietnamese coffee and it was a absolutely amazing! My friend and I had such a great experience that we stuck around for a bit longer and ordered another drink, and their chai was out of this world! The baristas truly care about crafting an amazing coffee beverage, this could be the best coffee shop in town! Even if it isn’t, Fifth Vessel is still worth a visit, even considering the cost of parking on the street! You must try this place at least once.

Fifth Vessel Coffee Co. is the single best coffee shop I have ever been to in the States. JR and the team have done an amazing job since opening. Their drinks are unique and fresh. Attention to detail and care is found in every cup they make from preparation to execution. They now have a seasonal menu that rotations between unique drink options. The location is clean and employees are always friendly. I was gone for a month and they still remembered who I was. Located on Main Street, they are at the hub of excitement in Houston, a short walk for attorneys, police, and college students who was a quality coffee for a fair price.

The fifth vessel! They really walk out their motto, Spirit Of Excellence. From the service to the coffee + food to even the aesthetics. It brings in that vibe what a coffee shop is suppose to be but even better. And definitely a creative space, This place is Lit.

I tried the Bonito & the Lox. Both were exceptionally good! The baristas go far and above and are extremely welcoming, kind and friendly. This easily became my favorite coffee shop in Houston!

The cutest little coffee shop, with pasteries that were out of this world! I don’t know where they get them from, but goodness! Also- barista and lady at the front were super helpful In helping decide which drink to get! Love the cute indoor space, but parking can be so tough! Street parking only. Only downside if parking gives you anxiety, but other than that I got the viet coffee and it was amazing!

I visited Fifth Vessel Coffee during a Friday morning to get a quick cup of coffee, but I loved the ambiance and the shop so much, I ended up trying items from their menu and pastries. Upon entering the shop, I noticed how small but cute everything was. There were chairs by the window which allows you to look on the street, and the atmosphere inside was very cozy and airy. The staff were also super friendly! I got the Bonito coffee hot, ricotta berry and toast, and a lime bluberry tart. The Bonito is definitely more on the sweeter side. Although it was good, it was a little too sweet for my personal taste, but it was good to try and for when I want something sweeter. I also got a vanilla latte (hot), as well, and really enjoyed it. All the cups are so cute, and they place your drink on a cool little slab for you to pick up. The food was brought out to you. The ricotta berry toast was a huge slice of bread with ricotta and berry sauce and was more of a colder item, but despite being doused in sauce, the toast was still crispy around the edges. The lime blueberry tart was was amazing, especially in the middle! The croissant area was super crispy, and once you get in the middle where you get the crispiness of croissant and the mix of tart blueberries and sweet meringue, it is delicious! I definitely recommend getting it if you like tarts, and it looks visually appealing as well. Overall, I think this is such a nice coffee shop to chill and be comfortable at or even people watch at. I also think their coffee is very artisanal and delicious and goes along with their scrumptious pastries!

Great concept to replace old 3 Fibs! Love Fifth Vessel. Had the Mayan Mocha, which was excellent. The atmosphere is great. Service is very attentive and quick. I do recommend the Simply Avacado Toast

Didn't get to try the food but the employees were very friendly. The coffe was honestly not the best. Got an iced latte but seemed it like it was an iced coffe. Also just have to find parking, usually there's a bit Infront across the street between this place and McIntyre's. If it's taken then It can be a hassle

Service was friendly, and the place was clean. All I had was the black, drip coffee and it was excellent. Next time I’m downtown. I’ll definitely come here for coffee. Paul

I am always looking for a new coffee shop to try. I came across Fifth Vessel on a Saturday afternoon. Considering it’s downtown, be prepared to pay for parking. When I arrived, it was pretty busy but not crowded. I was able to order right away. I tried the Iced Texas Blossom and the Lox Bagel. Both were great. Next time, I will try one of their desserts!

Super cute and chill atmosphere! We tried the Texas Blossom and the Bonito, both iced. The drinks had great flavor. We also had the vegan lemon loaf and berry ricotta toast. Lemon loaf was so good we ended up getting a second one, delicious taste and it wasn’t dry. The ricotta toast was also super yummy and wasn’t too sweet. *Parking is not on site and shop is on the smaller side with limited seating*

This place is peace and the employees are knowledgeable and professional despite the fact that is not Giant chain. I was recommend SUA DA and it is great. I recommend you trying them out if you are into mom and pop vibes.

Went in out of curiosity one day and tried the vanilla cold brew with heavy sweet cream. I was expecting your STANDARD cold brew to be like many others…strong and acidic. It ended up being the SMOOTHEST, TASTIEST drink! Since that time I’ve been back again and again for the cold brew with heavy cream and vanilla syrup!! The owner is an awesome Christian entrepreneur with a heart for JESUS and PEOPLE! It can’t get better than that!!

I'm writing this review as I'm eating the pizza and I'm also drinking the bonito. The pizza roll is so good and I appreciate that it's light on the stomach. The sauce that they provide with it is really good. The bonito is a perfect drink if you want that perfect mixture of sweet and warm on a nice morning and the touch of cinnamon that they put on the top of it is such a nice addition. Service is wonderful and friendly, the owner knows his stuff. Definitely 10 out of 10!
