Stellar bar on Montrose Blvd: Classy (marble and wood, impeccable service); Intimate (tight, lighting dim, music perfect). Inside the esteemed La Colombe D'or hotel, it's a must try new bar in the inner loop and Montrose.

A beautifully warm space with a delicious menu and an incredible staff (thank you Sergio, Patrick, Atlee, and Dune-aficionado Chris). Sadly, most of the photos posted by other reviewers really don't do justice to how aesthetically pleasing and socially pleasant this bar is. Make a reservation (recommended) or try your luck, but don't miss out: go to Bar No. 3.

Inviting & comfortable lounge at a historical mansion. Our party was delighted with mocktails AND fine quality spirits and knowledgeable bar tender.

Such an awesome place for a before or after dinner cocktail. The bartenders here are top notch and probably the most knowledgeable in all of Houston. They can make all the classics plus are constantly innovating the seasonal cocktail menu with fun new arrivals. Great conversation and top tier drinks. If you haven’t been yet put it on your list.

it’s a nice vibe. the drinks were near twenty dollars, made handsomely. the charcuterie board is a pass. the service was very slow but it was a friday night. would advise the management to staff accordingly 2 drinks 1 snack = 55$ would not recommend the charcuterie board

Bar 3 is a beautiful space inside the La Colombe d'or hotel. Speakeasy vibes of rich wood, dark colors, and soft leathers. The cocktail menu isn't something that caught my eye, we thought we'd give it a try. My girlfriend had the Chateaux Lux and she loves it. Well balanced, not overly sweet and not overly bitter. I tried the Lindbergh Palace. It wasn't quite for me so I spoke to the bartender Sergio and he made me probably the best old fashioned I've had in Houston over the past three years. Awesome guy, super down to earth, and he aims to make sure you have a great time. He also made us his "Sergio special" shots for my birthday. You definitely need to have Sergio make you a cocktail whether you like the cocktail menu or not. We will be back for sure.

Grace was so polite and very helpful Patrick the bar manager is the man very knowledgeable about drinks and can modify your drink to please your taste buds.. Bartender was the best too but forgot his name .. it's a cozy little nook and atmosphere was very pleasant Great place to bring friends from out of town or a date upscale and sophisticated!

Came here for happy hour between a friends wedding and it was great! Love talking to the bartender, very attentive and entertaining. Definitely loved the drinks and will be back as one of our local go to. Such an esthetic and modern bar.

Our favorite spot for a night cap. Expresso martini and the sleeper are our go too faves. You won’t regret either!
