Fantastic. Great place to grab a delicious panini, enjoy a relaxing atmosphere, and reasonable prices. I will be returning as I loved the service and thought the food was delicious and well prepared! I was served with kindness and didn’t have to wait long. The atmosphere is a relaxing cafe vibe that I really enjoyed. If you like bakery or cafe food, I think you’ll really like this place.

So, I went to the place to pick up some food for my parents and their cookies were on display and they looked so good. So I said next time I come, I’ll get some. Well, it’s next time. I was disappointed when I saw that they were all gone but I asked the lady anyways and she kind of hesitated and then said yes we do. So I walked out of the store with the purchase of 2 cookies for $5. Got into my car and wanted to have a bite. No wonder why the lady hesitated, these cookies were awful. I feel like they were just trying to sell them knowing they were bad. They were hard as rocks. Tasted terrible. Either they gave me an old batch that they didn’t want to throw away, just to make a sell and not waste money or the baker overcooked them because these did not look like the cookies I saw the other day. (The ones I saw that day were a lighter color and were baked perfectly ) They definitely did not taste right and were dried out. This honestly made me upset. $5 wasted. Never again.

Great Sunday brunch for after church location. Across from Lakewood Church too. Baked potato soup could’ve been warmer but the flavor? Yum-me! The BBLT was perfectly perfect. I had the small shrimp linguini which was very filling. Not overly flavorful but just right. And, we had a po-boy sized chicken pesto sandwich. Quite tasty and much larger than expected. Yes, I would definitely go back again. Wasn’t crowded either making parking much easier also. If you ask, they give senior citizen and military discounts. 10% still helps.

Totally run by the ladies, this is one establishment to strongly support. With a crowd of 4 people ahead of me at ~9am on a cold tuesday morning, it was a pleasure to get the order of bagel and cream cheese with avocado wrap that was out of this world. The cashier was also teaching her other colleague about how to place the order. Best is the flavor in the double espresso which has a hint of chocolate, just a hint and the aroma just woke me up!!! Ambience is welcoming and in the hustle bustle of downtown, a really classy sophisticated and chic place for you to enjoy and support the diversity of some real hardworking ladies that were always smiling!

The hot chocolate and the croissant were good, but the coffee could have been better. Great ambience though!

I love Corner Bakery. Great place to come in and have a cup of coffee and a pastry with this cold weather.

Laid back, kid friendly atmosphere. The food is always tasty and very consistent. I love their Pancakes... very light and fluffy! We don't come to the area often but when we do we always try to stop in for a bite.

Food was good but restaurant smelled funky. Carpet needs to go. Also saw multiple employees walk by dirty tables, bags on the ground- almost no customers in restaurant.

Lunch was so good, I had to stop by and order the same thing for dinner. The food was so flavorful and tasty. I order the chicken pomodori and fell in love. The roasted tomato basil soup and chicken noodle soup was amazing. The service at the location was great. Restaurant was very clean and the staff was very pleasant.

Hadn't been to Corner Bakery in a long time. The tomatoes basil soup tasted like a jar of spaghetti sauce. It was so sweet that I couldn't finish the serving. The Cobb salad was fine but I didn't like the turkey on it. Big disappointment.

I thought that this place was decent. Good parking, short lines, and short wait for food. The price is on par with other mid-price places and they have me more bacon and eggs that I usually see. My complaint is the potatoes. They are not cooked long enough.

Ordered takeout. Food took about 10 minutes. They packaged items separately so the bacon stayed crisp. Everything was delicious, would definitely recommend. There is plenty of parking. Next time, I'll use the order ahead option, they have parking spots designated specifically for pickup.

First time at a Corner Bakery and I am delighted! Food arrived at our table a little late, but it was fresh and tasteful. Mostly run by ladies and I am happy to support them.

Went this morning and the food was very bland. The coffee wasn't good. I had to put milk in it to drink it, which I never do. The guy that helped us at the counter was the worst part. He kept forgetting things. I asked for the pancake plate with eggs and bacon and he just gave me pancakes. The part that upset me is that when we asked about the rest of it as he only gave us pancakes, he said I clearly said I ONLY wanted pancakes. It was a flat-out lie, there were 2 others standing with me and what he said was not even a conversation we had. I also asked him if something was good originally and his facial expression about was a clear no. So that's how I ended up with the own pancake platter. Towards the end we asked for butter and syrup and he forgot that too. Best part about this place was that it was clean and all the ladies were nice. Chick-fil-A breakfast across the street is your better choice!

I love Corner Bakery. I've never had a bad experience here. Their food is always on point. Love their coffee and bakery items!

I decided to go to here for breakfast this morning and was somewhat delighted and slightly disappointed. I've ordered this before from another Corner Bakery and received different results. I waited for 5 - 10 minutes for my food and it actually arrived at my table cold. I do not like cold food. Overall, the restaurant was clean and not real busy at the time. I like to come to corner bakery because your food is made to order (at least I thought) and I just didn't get the fact that it came out cold. Try and at least place the potatoes on the grill for a few minutes so the food will be hot for the customer.

Great lunch selections. Nice seating with multiple booths. Ordered the soup & salad. Uptown Turkey Avocado and Loaded baked potato. Rustic Italian panini was pretty tasty too.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Was very impressed on the my first visit there. The dining area is quite spacious and clean! The menu has a lot of varieties to choose from for those wanting to eat a little more on the healthier side but not wanting to pay a heavy tab. Will definitely be coming back!

It’s a unusually cold day in Houston. I purchased tomato basil soup. Got in the car and the soup was not hot or warm. Came back in and the manager was mad at me. Was it my fault? I asked her and she remained unfriendly and non responsive. Is customer service a lost art?

Having had this for years in a much more expensive state with adequate portions and rational pricing.. I can say this visit to corner bakery was EXTREMELY disappointing. $26 for 2 cups with less than 4oz of soup, a small cup of pasta not filled to half its size and not 1/2 but 1/4 of a sandwhich. Unfair pricing and portions.

I have gone to this location several times and never had any issues with online ordering. Today I ordered online only to arrive at the store and be told they didn’t have enough soup for my order. So I asked well what else can I get because I don’t want the other soups they had available. I got a blank stare back at me like they didn’t know what I was asking and after a few “umm”s I just said if you can’t figure out what else I can get since you don’t have enough soup for my order just give me a refund for that soup. Never experienced customer service like this before, usually if a restaurant is out of something a person has ordered online and paid for, they typically give them an upgrade to something similar at no charge, but the “manager” at this location just wanted me to pick from the only 2 options they had left that day and I don’t like those soups. I won’t be ordering from here for a good while if I ever do go back.

So this is my very first experience with the Corner Bakery. I must say I'm not impressed at all. The Caesar dressing was super vinegary. The bread for the chicken sandwich was cold and bland. The chicken was decently seasoned, but the sandwich as a whole was dismal. It just was a cold, boring and bland sandwich with no condiment on it. Just bread, chicken, tomatoes and mixed greens. Staff was pleasant enough.

I am a frequent lunch customer. Today my lunch tray was without napkins, silverware was not in paper sleeve and the bag of chips was open. Complained to the person incharge and was told that next time they will do better. Hell, with this attitude there is not going to be a next time.

First time trying a Corner Bakery - all 4 of us fully enjoyed our order - Cobb salad panini’s- bagel and yogurt - even down to the mini lemon bundt cake! Will return and would recommend- Give it a 9/10 since my daughter thought the bagel was too tough!

Not going to this location again. I'm originally from up North and I love coming to this franchise. I get the same thing every time but this time I ordered the same way I usually do but I got a cold sandwich that I could have just as easily got from Jimmy John's. The sandwich was all bread and so dry. Thank goodness for chocolate pies, blue berry muffins and coffee being so universal that they were the only thing I truly enjoyed from this location. When I asked the staff if my order was made right (which I know it wasn't) they were reluctant to fix it. I sat for a while after they said they would fix it but by the time they got to me I was already eating because I was hungry and didn't feel like waiting anymore. It was an adequate sandwich but not what I wanted.

Came here for brunch and got the pancake combo. Oscar gave us stellar service and was so attentive to all our needs that I even asked him if he was the manager/owner because of how professional he was with us. He was truly the highlight of my corner bakery experience and will definitely come back and tell my other friends to specifically request Oscar!

I'm an employee here at the Corner Bakery Cafe. Here I believe in giving what I want to receive. So I received of what I've given, and that's service. That is one, among many of the things that attracted me to inquire about coming to work for the Corner Bakery Cafe. The encouragement that we display through our own experience is one that speaks louder than words itself. As I perform my duties and as a customer, I can on both sides of the same coin speak truthfully concerning our business. It's a place that you can and will feel like you're at home. Like I'm sitting at grandma's table. Getting ready to feast out on great meal. Thanks.
