Restaurant Hamburger restaurant Filipino restaurant

👍👍 Got the bacon cheeseburger, was very happy with the choice. The bun was very interesting as it was more like a home made roll but I really enjoyed it and it kept its integrity together. The fries were double fried and really meaty inside with crispy outside. Really tasty and wish they had some garli... People often mention fries, burger, delicious, flavors, friendly, restaurant,

Got the bacon cheeseburger, was very happy with the choice. The bun was very interesting as it was more like a home made roll but I really enjoyed it and it kept its integrity together. The fries were double fried and really meaty inside with crispy outside. Really tasty and wish they had some garlic aioli or something but ketchup was good. Service was a bit slow but I wasn’t in a rush. Highly recommend this burger but it’s definitely not cheap. Was quite over $20 after tax and tip.

It’s on level T to start. Great little burger place to have a gourmet style burger 🍔 the food is great and so are the portions. The service was also fantastic 👍🏻 If you want to take a break from the same old recipes of meat on buns then this is the right place for you! Give it shot, they deserve way more attention. 🌟

Just excellent burgers and generous portions for a reasonable price. Flip 'n Patties is a fun place to grab delicious comfort food with a lot of unique flavors. Service is fast and friendly. They have so much good food but it's difficult to get past the burgers.

Fantastic restaurant! My friends and I tried to find the restaurant the first day we were in Houston for a conference, only we found it a challenge to discover because it is actually in the tunnel system below downtown! You can't really use GPS directions when you have to navigate the tunnels! That being said, 2 days later we made a more expertly planned attempt to find the restaurant, and it was everything we had hoped for! The restaurant is Filipino inspired foods, with a lot of American flavors melded with the Asian traditional inspirations! The burgers were juicy with buns that were crisp and even had mustard placed on them in the shape of the word love and a heart! My own meal was a more traditional Filipino dinner, called lechon kawali, which is a fried pork belly meal with garlic seasoned rice, lettuce, and chives! To top it off, two of us ordered something called a Halo Halo, which is an ice cream and fresh fruit combination, along with coconut shavings and crushed ice! The flavors were exquisite and unique in a way that can't be compared to a chain ice cream store! The chef and waitstaff were happy to oblige our touristy goofiness, and even got in on the fun of pictures that we took while we were there! If you're able to find it, go to Flip N Patties! You're not gonna be let down!

Tried out for the first time today and it was delicious! Tasty fusion of flavors. Especially loved the Chicken Pupu Garlic Rice Plato! The plates come with 2 egg rolls (flip rolls) with an equally good sweet chili sauce. Longsilog patty Plato was also good with flavors I've never tasted before! Highly recommend checking this place out, especially if you're going to the Houston Symphony! Super easy walking distance!

Awesome location, super friendly service, crazy fast too! They got all 18 of us our food in 20 minutes and everyone enjoyed what they tried. The two guys working were super friendly and took the time to answer all of our questions and explain the menu. Would definitely recommend! (Also the fries are huge!)

Really enjoyed our first trip to this restaurant. We tried the flip-n-patty burger, Amboy, a simple build your own burger for the kids, and a flip-n-fries. All the food was excellent including the bread, the meat, and the sauces. The fries in particular were exceptional. They were large natural cut fries which were fried to a perfect crispness. They included shredded meat and a spicy sauce on top that was really delicious. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was great and friendly. Definitely will be back when I’m in the area.

Any time friends visit from out of town, we take them here. Everything is tasty. The staff is super friendly. The Flip N Fries with chicken is the best loaded fries in town, don’t @ me. Sometimes they’re out of mushrooms so call ahead if that’s what you’re wanting.

Wow. This place earned it's name. You'll definitely flip out when you taste the food! Their meat patties are delicious. They even have non meat options, like a stuffed mushroom "burger" which is just as delicious. It's a must try place if you're looking for causal indoor eating in the area.

I have to warn you about the huge meal portion size. But I loved the fries so much. The flip'n burger was amazing. The staff is friendly. It's located in a food court, so there's plenty of tables to sit.

A fire little spot hidden in downtown Houston. Parking sucks as any downtown food joint does but once you go inside and head downstairs you are greeted with a wonderful atmosphere and other restaurant options to choose from. I can't speak to the quality of the other food spots but I will definitely be back for Flip n Patties. PROS AND CONS PROS -food is awesome -staff was polite and helpful -quantity of fries are insane for one person -unique twist on a burger -gave 50% military discount CONS -parking is challenging

The burgers and fries were delicious! We weren't sure if we would like the sauce, but it was great. We definitely plan to come back to try other menu items.

This place was one of our stops on the Astroville food tour of downtown Houston. It was not open to the public as at the time we went. We ate dinner- authentic Filipino food. I felt the chicken was too breaded but otherwise everything else was good. It is located at Houston Understory close to one of the entrances to the downtown tunnel.
