The prices online are not the same... the menu prices in the restaurant are higher... I paid like 13 dollars for half a bag of chips and a tiny cup of queso... and another 9 dollars for 2 tiny tacos... (see picture) the queso had no flavor other than oily and I think Tabasco? The tacos are really small, like 3 inch small and were over 4 dollars each... I ended up dumping the fillings from both tacos into the queso type sauce and still wasn't really flavorful... I'm not sure if I just came at a wrong time or what, but the other reviews were why I came here... the queso was grainy and tasted like a powdered cheese mix... I probably will not go back... In the picture you can see the size of queso and the meat inside the queso of from 2 TACOS...

A very cosy and nice place to be. Food is really delicious. Went there during my stay in Houston three or four times and it was all the time fantastic.

Great taco place with fantastic flavors throughout the menu. Each taco is just individual enough that it has a unique and different flavor profile. The El Fandango was phenomenal! Guacamole is good and very smooth, but the chips could have used a little more salt. Gluten free options are available with corn tortillas (they even double them up for strength!). We will certainly be back to try more taco options!

Really enjoy this place. Generous portions especially for the starters and great flavor and mix of textures. Highly recommended!

Was in town for the Astros game and wanted to grab something on the way. The reviews looked good so we gave it a shot. We ordered a chicken quesedilla and I think they were short on chicken...? We did mention it to our waiter but we shouldn't have to. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Ordered 3 tacos Fried chicken taco - tasteless, bland. Worst taco I’ve ever had. Grilled chicken taco - okay. Grilled Shrimp taco - filling was so less, basically all I had was a taco shell, 1shrimp and some veggies. I will not recommend this to anyone. Especially for the price. There are a lot of options around here within eyesight. Edit: A new update they charged me 3% for using card (as card service), which I was not told before using the card. I was just checking my receipt and found. They are taking advantage of people not asking for receipts these days. Absolutely hate it. Response: Thanks for looking up my previous reviews. Just because I only review the the restaurants that are bad doesn't mean I inherently hate all restaurants. The purpose of review is to help other customers choosing a good place to eat and owner to fix things for the good, not to blame the reviewer. If you're going to charge extra for for using credit card, you should have at least declared it beforehand.

What a great spot for the best salsa I've had in a long time! The food was perfect. But that salsa was so good. The chips were homemade. Cute outdoor seating with a open bar. My only regret was that I didn't ask for a bag of chips and salsa to go! 😫

My husband and I were taking a late night stroll down the street our hotel was on and came across this spot. We are avid taco lovers and as my first time in Houston, I said why not give it a try. It was one of the few restaurants open late night since we had a late flight getting in. The line was wrapped around the restaurant, I presume there was a concert nearby that just ended and several hungry folx stopped by. We were in line for about 25 minutes and ordered a few tacos to go. We saw there was a bar but there was only one or two folx serving people their orders so I figured they weren’t used to handling a packed restaurant. The person manning the bar was overwhelmed. It took him a while to get our drinks and we had to remind him several minutes later about our order. The tacos were okay at best. We took them back to our hotel to smash. Maybe if we ate them fresh at the restaurant I’d have another perspective! I’d try them again, not for to go orders tho.

This place is amazing. It’s no wonder they’re busy all the time. Food was so delicious. Will come back.

I just ask the server to give me their three favorite Tacos. Didn’t disappoint. Good prices too.

Delicious tacos, nachos, and quesadillas with both green and red salsa, you can never go wrong!

Came here because their sign said "breakfast". Grabbed their "royal flush" breakfast taco. Kind of an unfortunate name but quite tasty. It's a small soft flour taco (think you can ask for corn) with scrambled egg, potatoes, cheese, and beef brisket. They serve it with a little salsa on the side. It was so good, I went again the next day and got the same thing and another one - just a regular breakfast taco with eggs, cheese, and jalapeno sausage. It also comes with its own side of salsa. It had a nice spicy bite. Each is around $3+ each. Kind of small, but great at those prices. This place looks like a fun spot for good eats. On the list to try next time I'm back.

The worst service ive been. its shame havent to look for a good taco place. i get here. the cashier guy was yawning. falling asleep. i told him this is my first time coming here. what do u recommend. He wasnt to helpful. so i order a picadillo taco and chixken taco. the flour totilla was hard as a rock and the meat was dry. in addition the chicken i had scraps it was more lettuce no chicken. So i ask to speak to manager. She was not helpful at all. She said thats how the owner serves. She saw my tacos and didnt volunteer to remake it. She told there nothing i can do. So i ask for her name she hesitate amd then said . im just assistant manager and walk away from me. I took pictures.

I got a massive pork burrito from here and enjoyed every freaking bite! I wish I had more time to explore the menu and will definitely be back whenever I visit Houston.

This place is fantastic!!! Came through during a vacation bc I was craving a fish taco and they delivered and then some!! Honestly, it was very likely the best fish taco I’ve ever had. I got a fried fish taco (best ever), the shrimp one (also amazing), and the grilled fish (delicious but the fried one is where it’s at!). Highly recommend! Make it a point to visit. Also, get the queso. They aren’t lying when they say it’s the best in town. My cousin also got the pork taco and said it was her favorite ever
