This studio is more than a building for yoga or fitness classes, it’s a community that welcomes you in and makes you family. The instructors are extremely friendly and helpful. The class sizes are small so it’s not intimidating and the schedule is flexible enough to make it work w/ a variety of class options. The studio is clean and inviting with stocked showers for women and men. There’s a cute boutique with reasonably priced items. The community/students are the most friendliest people you will ever meet. I waited over two years to write an honest review.

This is my first time practicing yoga and I am so, so thankful to be beginning at Mode 8! Every single class I have attended radiates positive energy thanks to the instructors kind and encouraging nature. Only wonderful things to say about this place and all the instructors! ✨namaste✨

All good things to say about Mode 8. I have had Mode 8’s Red Tag membership for 6 months and only recently cancelled my membership because I will be moving and no longer able to attend classes on a regular basis. While the studio is primarily known for their yoga classes, they also offer a Lightning Strength class that incorporates HIIT. The flows may challenge you but most instructors offer alternative poses for different levels so you feel comfortable moving at your own pass and doing what feels right for your own body. In the past, the studio has partnered with Harris County Precinct 2 to offer free yoga in the park which I attended on several occasions and loved. The instructors, including the studio's owner, are all skilled, kind, and charismatic. 10/10 recommend giving this studio a try.

First of all - everyone here is SO nice. They are incredibly welcoming and helpful. Even all the individuals taking the class were kind. As for the class itself - I did the $29 two weeks to try it out. I have a mild disability that is very obvious and makes yoga rather difficult for me so I tend to avoid it - however, I love the idea of yoga and all the benefits it offers so I took a chance and tried it and I’m so so glad it was here. I started with yin Yang flow, and the instructor, Isabel, points out throughout the class that you should always listen to your body and make and modifications that you need, and suggests different variations. She makes the class feel welcoming and accessible to everyone while still providing a level of challenge that can help you grow. I really can’t express how much it meant to me to make it through an entire yoga class without feeling like I didn’t belong. Which you know, I always thought is what yoga should be like. I will definitely be going back here over and over.

I’ve been going to Mode 8 for a little over a year now and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place. Yoga can be scary for the first time, or even trying a new studio can be nerve wrecking, but this place feels like a home away from home. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. I go as often as I can with my crazy schedule but there’s always a class available for me. I’ve tried majority of the instructors and they’re all amazing. The owner Christine is great and has always accommodated me when I needed. Thank you Mode 8 🤍

Love coming here, started yoga with Mode 8 about a year ago and from the very beginning Christine and all the teachers were super welcoming and friendly. It’s a great place to challenge yourself and grow!

I cannot say enough good things about this studio. They are serious about their commitment to being the best yoga and fitness studio in Houston. I became a member after only my third class because I knew I had to be a regular part of this positive and welcoming space! All of the instructors are fantastic (seriously!) and I've never been disappointed by a class. I actually live 20 minutes away from the studio, so this is a longer commute than from my previous gym, but it is well worth the drive. They have a great special where newbies can try unlimited classes for 2 weeks so check this place out!

On Labor Day weekend, I had the privilege of attending the one-year anniversary celebration of Nutrition Boost. There was also a free yoga class provided by Mode 8 Yoga and Fitness. It was a great Yoga class that became a Hot Yoga class thanks to the Texas heat. Thank you for supporting local business and sharing the amazing Yoga love.

I have tried a variety of classes here. You will get a well-rounded workout in such a supportive environment. This place is soulful. Every instructor here is so kind and has something unique to offer. From the stretch and Renew class to hot yoga Thunder and everything in between. This place has been my main place to get movement in. And it feels so. good. to sweat it out here.
