I usually always love coming in, but not today Brett refused to allow me in class, I hadn't paid & since it was exactly 5 mins after he said I couldn't join. I actually rushed there, I knew I was running a tad late, I tried calling several times. I get the rules are the rules but come on. I never met Brett before but usually I've never had anyone not let me in the class. Most of the employees are super pleasant, but Brett sucks!

I was taught that the true purpose of yoga is to prepare the body for a deep seated meditation to reach an enlightened state of consciousness. It would be AMAZING if this studio would hold quite space for the students to absorb the full benefits of the incredible practice.

Love the vibe and instructor! Went in on a Saturday morning and it was jam packed like you can easily touch the person next to you when you stretch. Most of us were sweating a lot, couple w the decent size of the studio it can be a little uncomfortable for some but overall I enjoyed my class.

This studio is spiritually, physically, and mentally enhancing my well being. Thanks to a class I took with Candice Quino about 8 years ago, I decided to take a chance on becoming a member here. Every instructor is unbelievably nurturing and welcoming. Candice is still by far the most inspiring and positively focused yogi leader I have met.

My teen kiddo and I look forward to Jaclyn’s class every Wednesday! My work team and I try to make it out Mondays (when work isn’t too busy) with Graham which is awesome. I’ve also had the pleasure of being led by Jnae - she’s incredible too. I’ve had nothing but the most positive experiences with BSY, their staff, and the other guests. I always walk out of there excited about the next class opportunity.

Instructors are super friendly and great at explaining poses. Its easy to get lost as a beginner not knowing poses. 2nd time to ever do yoga and was able to keep up.

My favorite Black Swan studio, prefer the vibe and space here over downtown and Kirby. Great yoga studio for beginners to try out many different instructors and styles. Also love the flexibility they offer - it is affordable without having to commit to a membership. Would love more outdoors events at the Arboretum!

Nicole Peralta was extraordinary!! Her experience and love for yoga shows. She makes everyone feel welcome and knows how to make a beginner’s class truly inclusive. BSY is always a very buzzy space, so its nice to witness people in all parts of their journey coming thru. Looking forward to coming back!

Amazing, amazing, amazing. Expect a burn and expect to SWEAT. Every instructor is so unique yet understand the practice so well. Haven’t had not one yoga session that I did not fully enjoy. I have been going to this location on White Oak for over two years now. Parking like others have mentioned is tricky, but worth coming in early to look for parking to get into a class. Like I said, all the instructors are amazing and challenging, some of my favorites are; Brett, Kelsey, Sarah, Candice and Nakia. Be prepared to tap into your mind, body and spirit with these instructors. Namaste!

I took the Flow class with Nicole at the White Oak location and it was such a great experience! I really enjoyed the flow of that class and so did my body! This was only my second time taking a Flow class but please note, I will be returning! Towards the end of the class when we came to a resting point, she went around the room and fanned us and that really was the cherry on top! Thank you for giving me a great start to my weekend, Nicole! You are appreciated c:

Absolutely loved the beginner class with Nicole! She strategically tailors it to all levels in a way that keeps things interesting, no matter the years of experience you have practicing. At the end I left wondering where the time went - she made it so easy to be in the present moment by continually speaking to the breath and different areas of the body. Will definitely be back!

I took Nicole’s class for the first time and she is one of my new favorite instructors!! There is so much variation in the flow. Before class began, Nicole asked if there was anything we would like to focus on and I really appreciated that. Not a lot of instructors do that anymore. 10/10!

Classes can be a little packed but you can guarantee an amazing sweat and workout here! Always leave feeling great! Staff is nice, building and space is nothing special and small, but classes are 10/10.

I’ve been coming to this yoga studio for 5years and absolutely love it!!! Jose is by far my most favorite teacher. He goes above and beyond offering the most challenging flow classes. Always different and also offering artistic combinations. He is able to motivate you and push your limits and at the same time delivering it with humor. If you are a long time advanced yogi you don’t need to look further.

This community is AWESOME! I've enjoyed many classes with Nicole Peralta, and I hope to attend many more. Nicole puts incredible thought and planning into her flows, yet remains responsive to each unique class and set of students. Her gentle voice is a wonderful guide, and her calm energy is perfect on days I'm looking to get lost in my flow! Also love her 90s beats <3

Anyone who hears me talk about taking yoga classes in general will ~always~ also hear me drop Candice’s name. If you’re reading this, please do yourself a favor and sign up for a class with her- you won’t want to miss her Candlelight flows at the White Oak studio. Some words that come to mind when thinking of the experience she creates: transcendental (not an original thought, this is actually what the facilitator of Black Swan’s teacher training will tell you, no lies), deeply impactful, educational, melodic, fun, divine. Simply the best. Just go :]

I practiced yoga for many years but never really hooked into it consistently until I met Stephanie McCarrey. I love how she designs the class structures including core workout, balances and her fun music. She always tries to make the classes with different challenges, new poses, energetic music, and thanks to that it’s much more fun to do yoga with her. She encourages people to try but always prioritize safety and respect personal limitations. In general, I like all yoga instructors at Black Swan. They are all nice and well trained. The studios are also nice with exception that sometime classrooms are too crowded in the rush hours.

I’ve been doing one-off classes here for a while but only started to come weekly this year — and I’m so glad that I did. Jose’s Monday classes are my favorite. They’re a good workout, come with great playlists, and have all of the right vibes. It’s an amazing week to start the week right!

Go to Candice’s class! You will not regret it. I’ve been flowing with Candice since September 2020, and she has helped me build such a strong awareness of my yoga practice and habits in my body. She always emphasizes alignment, proper form, and use of the breath to make sure all her yogis are staying safe and getting the most out of class. Absolutely LOVE her. 1,000,000/10!
