OVERALL: This bar is located on top of the Hungrys restaurant. Their happy hour is from 3-6pm. Very no frills, relaxed venue. It's definitely a great brunch or after work spot. PROS: The drinks are good Food is okay. CONS: Parking: Few non valent parking spots Difficult to access Dress code: casual.

Fresh ingredients, great happy hour options (3-6 pm daily). Located on top of Hungry's and share the same full/main menu as them. Our server was very kind and thoughtful. They have beautiful outdoor, balcony seating.

Hungary's Upstairs lounge was really nice. We enjoyed the quite 21 and up space. The food was very enjoyable. In between heavy and light. Perfect for walking around Rice Village. We each enjoyed our meals.

The food is very good! Great Happy area. Outdoor, indoor, and bar seating. They have heat lanterns for cooler evenings - sitting outside was a delight. It did tat a while for us to get our drinks and we ended up canceling our order for a Margherita pizza bc they forgot to bring it out. The servers were very nice though, and educated on the menu. If you have any questions before or after ordering, definitely don't hesitate to ask! We had a wonderful, brief conversation about their brussel sprouts. I didn't know there was a way to make then actually taste good and not burnt and theirs were amazing!

The food is amazing! Highly recommend all dishes. The seasoned garlic fries are absolutely to die for. They are my go-to now when I come back. We bring friends and family and walk away full every time and even have food left over. Feels like a very luxury restaurant. And the salmon just melts in your mouth, best fish I've had in a very long time.

The staff was very friendly. Overall, the food is bland. But, we really enjoyed the Margherita pizza. They have a decent selection for cocktails.

This was chill spot. I like the patio upstairs. Iā€™m sure this is a great spot for brunch. I had the freshly squeezed orange juice and spinach dip. They were both great. Check out my Instagram: nancyuche_

We loved this place! We were unfamiliar with the many options on this area so we picked at random. Most important must have was TVs to watch March Madness. The first place we visited had no food. My bad. I usually prepare better but it was a name I knew and I assumed. So we ended up looking for a place to relocate to and Upstairs was it! The staff was friendly and attentative all the way around. The bar selection was on point, and I'm a craft IPA guy. The food was incredible. We couldn't stop oohing and aahing while we savored every bit of the baked goat cheese. One of our favorite dishes and this one was done to perfection. Upstairs has definitely made our list. Sorry for the picture. I didn't think about it until after. But I feel it speaks volumes. Cheers!

I visited here with my brother and girlfriend while visiting Houston recently. We ordered some mojitos and a basil rose gimlet which were both really good. Also had the hummus, gyro plate and the egaplant tacos which were all great (but especially the eggplant tacos). Great outdoor seating and very kind servers too.

I liked the vibe and feel of the place. Big spot and seems like a good social spot. Food was okay. Nothing blew me away about it. I'd give it a 3.5 if that was an option but I'll go with a 4 since there isn't.

The food is great, and the service is quick and helpful. It's definitely a quiet place to visit, eat calm, and listen to the long rock fountain with rocks. 4 stats because parking was difficult, took 30 minutes for food, and I was not able to go on the second floor because it wasn't ready

I went here with my mom for lunch and happy hour yesterday. We started downstairs and had a wonderful lunch. We both had the fried chicken and mouse cake for dessert. The gimlet cocktail on happy hour was excellent and all made with fresh basil. We had a great time and love the patio upstairs!

Did not eat at this establishment? And that is why I gave no rating for food. Stopped in for a quick drin Possibly they need an additional bartender on weekends. The atmosphere is a cool looking place. It is upstairs and they do have outdoor patio that I would intend to come back during the fall while it's cooler outside.

Visiting Houston for the weekend and decided to have brunch. Our server, Derius, was nothing short of amazing. Extremely knowledgeable and quick to meet our needs. Highly recommend this location and server specifically. Thanks for having us.

We only went there for drinks after having dinner elsewhere! I was very unhappy with the overwhelming sweetness of the drink. The server offered to change it, but I just preferred to leave that place since all seating options are the high tables and very uncomfortable for me .

Good service and pace. Michelada, Spinach and artichoke dip was good. Pizza was mediocre and burger was ok. Free parking is limited. Good ambience.

Different atmosphere upstairs. Great food and service was bad. The group was too big for one waiter. He was overwhelmed and it showed.

Fast service even during happy hour. Happy hour wine and cocktail amazing with large pours. I had the spinach artichoke dip it was good! The patio had a good ambiance and view while still being covered. Will be back soon!

My department held a happy hour here and it was such a nice venue! The food was delicious and the drinks were good. Although it was a little pricy, but I can't fault them for that. For a happy hour cocktail, it was 9 dollars.
