Booked a room a week in advance for our trip to Houston for the Taylor swift concert. Called ahead the day before explaining that we are traveling and won’t be able to check in until later in the evening after the concert is over. The desk attendant assured me late check ins were okay and if we were expecting to be later than 11pm to just call the day off and let them know. The day of the reservation I called at 6pm to confirm we will be checking in late since the concert would run late. The desk attendant assured me everything was good as long as we checked in before 1am. The concert let out and we drove the 35 mins back to the hotel and arrived around 12:15pm. After attempting to check in we were informed that there was a “glitch” or problem in the system and that they over booked the rooms and had no rooms available. I asked if they could set us up at another hotel and they said that they had called around and all the hotels in the area were fully booked. So here we are out of town in a different city and no place to go at midnight. Marriott did not notify me once about losing my booking, even though I called the day before and at 6pm the day of and was reassured our room was good. Not informing us of any change in our booking left me and my family stranded after a long day of travel and the concert. I understand the high fluctuation of people due to the concert but to give away rooms that are reserved without notifying the reservation holders is a big issue. There were a few other couples in the lobby who were also told their room was no longer available. I will never book with a Marriott hotel again. I recommend looking elsewhere for places to stay as there is no guarantee you will have a place to stay.

I have stayed here before with no complaints, but I recently stayed at this hotel and several things disappointed me. First I learned that I had to pay for parking at $4.19 per night, when did this happen I have never paid for parking at this hotel? Next, The elevator was broken and I had to call the service desk if I needed to go downstairs and wait for them to press the button to send the elevator up. Then, the bathroom tissue is made from recycled paper and it is hard as hell and very thin. Also, there was no lotion in the bathroom and the A/C in the room wasn't working and the room was hot and very uncomfortable. And, on top of tall that - there was no complimentary breakfast. Really! I will never stay at this hotel again.

I stayed here due to a power outage over the weekend. The room was Filty and had a huge unpleasant stain on the pull out mattress. When Brought to the General manager’s (Lynette) attention she noted there was nothing they could do about it. I then had to pay full Price for a 2nd room which was so unfair! I had a 8 year old and 5 month old baby with me! Very disappointed DO NOT STAY HERE

After eight years of business travel staying at this hotel multiple times, where once it was safe to stay in this area of Katy freeway (these are nice hotels), it now is being ravaged by thieves taking catalytic converters, breaking in windows, etc...they hit multiple vehicles on the night of April 17th/18th and even got vehicles at the Hampton next door. While the hotel was decent and conveniently located I can never stay here again. Ironically, this is the first year they charged a parking fee and while we know it's not for security (they don't even have cameras as a deterent), it's a meaningless fee in light of the overwhelming inconvenience and cost of personal property damage due to the uncontrollable current crime epidemic in Houston. The employees have always been kind and helpful, it saddens me to write a negative review based upon a location's unfortunate lack of security. FYI, I parked in view of the front door directly across from it. The bottom line is, if I can't come "stay with you" (as many slogans say) due to the lack of protection for my personal vehicle, I have no choice but to look elsewhere for a better location and possibly a hotel that has theft detterents in place. Consider this a warning. Don't bring your personal vehicle or rental here. Try to Uber or taxi if you can. I can't and it cost me much at this location.

Of course we expect a high standard from courtyard, but this location goes above and beyond that. I ordered breakfast this morning from Joe in the restaurant. Just as he enters it into the system all the power went out to the area! (Yes, Texas has its own grid, and mismanages that grid wildly lol.) Joe said "don't worry, I've got you." Five minutes later I had eggs over easy, crispy bacon, toast, potatoes. The whole works! All the staff worked together and were very calm. They are clearly a close nit and professional group. I will stay here again!

Stayed here overnight to get out of the heat and rest from working all day. The rooms were cleaned and the shower/bathroom didn’t disappoint. The snack/ food pantry near the entrance is a bit pricey. Also, there’s a bistro in the common area that serves breakfast and lunch. This hotel doesn’t offer complimentary breakfast.

One block away from I-10. During my stay, I encountered no problems. Rooms very clean, lobby and hallways clean, as well. Sun rises on the front of the hotel, and sets in the rear of the hotel. Parking all around the hotel. Starbucks and Popeyes all within walking distance. *Room 100, 101, 102 are closer to an exit door. Bed was really comfortable. Shower didn't run out of hot water.

Super amazing staff, just over the top friendly. The rooms are comfortable, and this location is per friendly.

The breakfast looks nice, but be aware it's a restaurant not the typical included breakfast. The bar in the evening looks fun too. The front desk people were nice during interactions. The reason for the poor rating is this: No maid service I don't need to be constantly cleaned up after. I do like a clean towel for my husband AND I. A wash cloth would be nice too. I would like coffee for the coffee maker. Leave more packets, if you can't come in a week. We were told the maids only come if requested, even if you are staying for weeks. We requested over and over. We tried early in the morning or the day before. Nothing was done. I can only think either they are short staffed or the maid lies and checks off a room that's not done. Even if they are short staffed, they could let us know. I could then plan to get supplies like toilet paper, tissues, towels, ect from the desk. Instead I felt like the employees were saying it was my fault, when we did request as required. I am upset though, so that may not have been the case. It's just how I feel.
