My wife and I visiting America for the first time from New Zealand, thought we'd try out the American dining experience- Mate, blew our expectations out the gate! Our server Phillip made us feel right at home and provided top shelf service! Very friendly. I'm going to be biased because I've always wanted to experience what I've seen in the movies so food and coffee were delicious. Traditional diner environment with a modern touch to it. Thanks for the experience First Watch crew!

Everything about brunch today was amazing! The food was delicious. I’m came from Louisiana for the weekend and this has been the best brunch spot I’ve had since I arrived. Phillip was a great server! Ask for him!

My experience at this specific location has been very good in the past. With the understanding on the weekends it is packed and very busy and has always delivered great service. The restaurant On this day that it's not as busy, especially being a weekday and not many diners there was unexpectedly odd for our breakfast to take long as it did. Our waitress had a total of 4 diners including us. However she was a sweetheart but didn't like that she was trying to fool me and sell me omelette style eggs when we ordered over medium hard eggs for my mom's Farmhouse Hash. What got me more upset was how the cook placed the omelette style eggs that were burnt on the bottom that sits on top of the Farmhouse Hash fixings so it won't be visible. How is the chef okay to serve that, is beyond belief. Not sure if there was any quality control to pass that plate out to the server to be giving their diners. First of all the eggs did not have any shed of whites on it, again the server was saying that it was over medium eggs etc. With my cook experience as a chef I was able to tell that it was not even hardshell eggs. Long story short we were able to see the manager there and kind enough to try to make our terrible experience somewhat better but all appetite was gone after seeing the execution on how the eggs were, the egg portion on my trifecta plat was ridiculous. The chicken sausage patty was burnt on one side and not even seared on the other. The crazy part was when I was being told that their cook was new and needed training. Which left me speechless. However any cook/chef should be able to cook any style eggs. That's class training for any culinary school Over easy eggs Medium eggs Over hard eggs Benedict eggs Scrambled eggs Ground eggs Omelette eggs Etc. So it's a big problem if you are hiring cooks that can't do that. It's no excuse for any of these foods to be burnt on a First Watch restaurant especially for it being in the Kirby area. The Least was done to take care of the ticket. Sadly it is a waste of food and loss of money.

This morning I enjoyed the Floridan French Toast with bacon and potatoes. The service provided by Phillip was phenomenal he was very nice and attentive offered our table toast while we were waiting for our food. This is only my second time at any first watch and I've had great food and great customer service

I came to visit my family in Houston last week and they took me to this restaurant. Erin, our server, was a sweetheart and provided excellent service. She was very welcoming and well informed about the menu. She was able to give us so many tasty recommendations. I highly recommend bringing your family for brunch or breakfast for an amazing time !

First timer. Eggs Benedict was good, not great. French toast was good as were the pancakes. Service was excellent. The atmosphere and seating was great, lots of seating area. I wanted to try a different breakfast place but this one didn't knock off my favorite. Would I recommend this place...yes, you will get good food and service.

Ate here on a Sunday right before they closed around 2pm. The restaurant was not too crowded. We were able to walk right in and be seated and serviced. I ordered the Tri- fecta. I chose the French toast, scrambled eggs, and chicken sausage. Everything was tasty and fresh. I ordered the morning meditation fresh juice and it was also tasty. I have no complaints about this establishment, it’s pretty solid for a quick Sunday brunch.

best way to describe the food is very american and healthy inspired. my partner didn't like the potatoes because they weren't cooked all the way and very hard. I thought it was all fine, and the bread was fr that fancy bread you never want to buy at a store because it's expensive. but i still ate my plate up AND that bread.
