Great food. Rice box is always one my go tos. This particular location is pretty small and really just a Togo place. My order did take a while but its always worth it because it delicious.

Very cool spot! I love the theme! Very cyberpunk-ish. The food was good and it came out piping hot! They have a decently sized patio to eat outside which was nice at night, though the mosquitoes killed the vibe a bit. Interior is very small though so not many options to eat inside. Overall it’s a stylish spot to grab a bite

Really cool fast food spot with futuristic interior design! Can definitely recommend for a quick bite of Chinese food - open until late!

10 out of 10 the cashier was super nice. I wasn’t really sure what I wanted because initially when I tried this, someone had ordered food and brought it and it was good but I wasn’t sure exactly what they had ordered and the cashier was very understanding and helped me figure out what exactly it was that I wanted Once I ordered I walked around and was told that they would bring the food out to my car I believe that was because it’s really not that big inside. It has a nice patio area but the weather in Houston currently it’s too hot for anybody to be sitting outside. They did offer free water, sadly I did not get any pictures of the food because I demolished it once I’ve got to my destination and I did get it to go

We placed an online order for house fried rice, curry fried rice, and egg rolls. The food was amazing! When we arrived to pick it up, we were pleasantly surprised by the cozy interior of the restaurant. It was so inviting that we definitely want to go back for a dine-in experience. However, the restaurant's parking lot is quite small, and leaving can be a bit tricky. But overall, it was a great experience!

Cute little spot. The staff was nice and the service was quick. I got the General Tso’s chicken, an egg roll, and fried rice. The food was really tasty and fresh. The fried rice was my favorite !!!

Super disappointed with my recent experience at this establishment for my to-go order. Regrettably, I ignored the subtle hints from the cashier, and the taste of the food turned out to be far from what I had expected. In fact, it was even worse than the typical mall Chinese food. To make matters worse, my order was incorrect; I had requested one pepper steak and one sesame chicken, but I received neither pepper nor clear identification of whether it was kung pao or general tso. The lack of flavor is crazy as it appears to look good. It was no breading really on the sesame chicken. It’s like a slime texture and as you can see from the meal that was supposed to be pepper steak it’s super watery. The egg roll is absolutely disgusting it tastes like a healthy option you would get from the frozen grocery section. Everything was just bad even the lo mein the temperature was ice cold and I live 6 mins from the restaurant. I decided to call the restaurant cause I couldn't bear the thought of wasting the over $30 I had spent on this meal. When I inquired about a refund, the manager on duty offered a choice between a gift card or a remake of the order. Very disappointed by this response as I expected a refund for the subpar quality of the food and offered to bring the food back. I will not be returning to this establishment, and I intend to share my review on various platforms. It's perplexing to me that the restaurant has received positive reviews, but perhaps the standards in Houston differ from what I anticipated.

Chinese take out but not so Americanized. 5/5 for flavors and texture. Perfect chongqing chicken if you’re a spice lover. The chow fun was very yummy. The takeout was ready quickly. Good experience overall!

First time trying out Rice Box, and it certainly won't be my last. I ordered 2 dishes, an eggroll on top of the 2 egg rolls that came with the 2 meals, plus an order of 2 buns with Egg Custard inside. The 1st dish I ordered was one of my favorite Chinese dishes of all time, Orange Chicken and I was a bit disappointed by the lack of seasoning of the chicken, but it was juicy, so I can't be mad at that. The second dish I ordered was the garlic eggplant, which turned out to be my highlight dish of the day. The eggplant was cooked to perfection, and there's plenty of garlic, which I'm a big garlic fan. I haven't been much of an eggplant fan until today. The eggrolls were good, a nice crunch when you bite into it. Also, the noodles and white rice compliment both dishes. The dessert was overall good. The bun was dense, but the custard helped it out a lot. The egg custard was not too sweet and very creamy, and I will get that again. The service was fast and efficient. Not even 5 minutes after I placed my order, I got the text message saying it's ready. When I arrived and got my food, it was hot and plenty of food enough for 2 people. The ambiance was very nice, and the place looked back to the future-esque, especially at night. I am looking forward to coming back and trying more items on the menu.

Portion is good. Taste great. Only lack of safety packaging for delivery where the food was all packed in a little plastic bag and exposed. The bag has no seal or stapled to prevent contamination.
