A week ago I went with my friend to this place called (restaurant Adulis ) in (5800 Bellaire Blvd #102, Houston, TX 77081) and I had an amazing experience. It was my off day and I decided to go along with my friends, and I am really happy with my choice. Specially their breakfast sandwiches and kecha ferefer is best i Houston.

I had the chicken & rice for lunch. The service was great, restaurant clean, ingredients fresh. I really enjoyed it and will definitely return soon!

Plan on waiting for the food a bit as this is an authentic Ethiopian/Eritrean restaurant and the food is fresh. The Injera is made fresh daily, salads and meat were all deliciously and delicately spiced/flavored. Definitely a favorite restaurant! The restaurant is clean and the staff/owners are friendly and helpful.

The awaze tibs were the best I've ever eaten! The meat was tender, and the spices were just right! The service was amazing, very friendly and attentive. In fact, I felt like I was eating at a friend's place. I feel blessed to have found this gem and will return anytime I'm in Houston!

Super good food, very reasonably priced, and they treated us like old friends. I’d recommend the awaze tibs, so much flavor! We also got ga’at and yogurt which was very interesting and surprisingly delicious.

Generous portions, delicious food, some of the best I’ve had in ages actually, incredibly lovely staff. I can’t overstate how lovely this restaurant was and I will absolutely be returning.

We love Ethiopian food, but live in a city without any Ethiopian restaurants. As such, when we travel, we seek out Ethiopian restaurants. We feel so blessed to find this wonderful place. Tadese (spelling?) was absolutely fabulous. In addition to amazing awaze tibs and injera, she served us some great coffee. It truly felt like dining at an Ethiopian friends house. On a scale of 0 to 10, this place is an 11. We also have a “drive scale”, and this would be in our highest category…would drive over an hour to go here.

Really good food, really great prices. Came here with some friends and left full and happy! We will definitely be back!
