This was a remarkable Google find. This is exactly what I use Google maps for. So today, a friend and I went here for lunch. When we arrived at 12:00 the guy who was cooking had to have walked in 5 minutes before us. Not a single burner was on in the kitchen. Ah, man..... we stayed anyway as the man assured us he it was going to be great. We ordered Catfish and Grits, and I ordered the Overload. We grabbed some Gatorades and sat to wait. We waited for about 35 minutes and the dude came out gave us a small sausage sandwich as an appetizer/thanks for being patient. Simple roll up with a 1/2 slice of America cheese. It was welcomed and was great, something my grandfather would have handed as a child. We waited again for another 5-10 minutes, and he produced a small cup of cheese grits. I can not remember ever having Grits taste so wonderfully good. Then after about an hour our food was served. The Catfish and Grits was brought out first. Excellent, again those same Grits were the base. Next was the Overload, at least 17 shrimp along with that same delightful sausage, and chicken was served in a Cajun cream sauce that was absolutely dreamy. I can not wait to get back here and try the gumbo. 2 other people came in just to get the gumbo but were turned away cause it wasn't done yet. They were told to come back in hour or so and they both said absolutely... I think if gumbo is so good that people would come back after their lunchtime to get it, its gotta be great. As I was paying they thanked us for our patience, gave each of us a German Chocolate cake to go. I am definitely coming back here. Next time my order will blackened shrimp and Grits. Try this place out and give them the love they deserve.

Incredible. I cannot explain how much I loved the food here. Their "Hot Topic" is simply one of the best dishes I've had in a really long time. If you don't like the fish, try the Overload, it's a spicier version without the fish (add chicken and sausage). I'm visiting Houston while my uncle is in the hospital, so I stopped by to get some fresh air and I was greated by the most incredible smells imaginable. Don't sleep on this brilliant dinner. And yes, it is "in" the gas station.

Had a great experience at this Cajun restaurant. They gave us a sample of their most popular meal, the hot topic. I was immediately sold. It was fantastic, I wish I had something like it at home. I definitely recommend splitting it if with someone as it's a large portion. The lady taking our order was super friendly as well. Unfortunately there was not a lot of seating due to it being in a gas station, but getting takeout was fine.

Angel and Ivory were so sweet. I got a chance to sample a variety of options before ordering. The food is delicious, flavorful and seasoned to perfection. It’s Cajun so if you can’t handle slightly spicy food, proceed with caution. All in all a wonderful experience and I highly recommend. 10/10

First thing first, the food is excellent and holds its own against any 5 star restaurant in the city. I'm no connoisseur but have been to my fair share and Bo-Bobs would win in taste, hands down. They give you a little sample cup of what's cooking and I'm not exaggerating when I say this, that was one of the best initial tastes of food that I've had in years. Before today I honestly had begin to lose some of my sense of taste since getting older but NOPE, not the case. I just haven't experienced true, balanced, delectable flavor in food for a while. The portions are are also very generous and left me wjth enough to take home. The staff is super friendly extend a family like welcome to everyone that comes in. The location is shared with a filling station and operates in a compact corner. Parking is limited and towing signs for the lots across the street are clearly posted. These are the only reasons I've given atmosphere a 3/5. However of you have a few bits of patience to maneuver the traffic and a little resilience, you will enjoy a hidden culinary experience that will surely have you planning for your next visit.

The food was wonderful! The proportions are very generous for this being seafood. Small space, but it doesn't matter because when you taste the food, you want it right then, regardless! The owners are wonderful and make this place extra special. We will definitely be recommending this to our friends.

Don't be deceived by its location in a convenience store; Bo Bobs is a gem. Recommended by my husband's friend, I was initially hesitant, but the warm welcome from the owners quickly put me at ease. The Cajun sauce, sampled at the start, was a flavor explosion—absolutely fire! The catfish was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the Hot Topic, featuring fried lobster with a side of that delightful Cajun sauce, was a taste sensation. We indulged until we could eat no more. The staff's super-friendly demeanor added to the experience. I sincerely hope they consider a food truck to share these amazing meals far and wide. Our meal was so good; it felt like divine intervention. Easily a solid 10 out of 10.

This couple should have a large, sit down restaurant because their food is so delicious. Delicious! It would surely draw a crowd. I ordered The Overload and it really was an overload. It could have served three people since it had a generous portion of sausage, shrimp, chicken and rice. The sauce was very creamy and delicious . It's too bad this great eating place is tucked away inside a gas station and convenience store. I bet a lot of people who pass it by would stop and go in if they knew the food that was waiting for them.
