The waitress was amazing. She was very friendly and took care of our 10 people table like a pro. Let's talk food! The stuffed French toast breakfast is now one of my favorites for breakfast. I love that they have chicken sausage. The biscuits are fresh and perfect. Must visit location.

The Flying Biscuit Cafe was an adorable restaurant. The people were super friendly and our waitress was very attentive. Food here was exceptional but warning there is alot of it. If you can't eat alot you might consider sharing. I got the stuffed French toast breakfast which included 4 slices of cream cheese filled/strawberry topping French toast, potatoes, 2 eggs, Biscuit and sausage patties. I was unable to eat it all but it was delicious. My husband ordered the high flyer which had eggs, bacon, waffle with chicken strip, Biscuit and sausage gravy and amazing loaded grits. He really enjoyed it as well. We officially decided this was the best place we had ever eaten breakfast.

My favorite American Breakfast spot. Biscuits, waffles, grits, coffee, eggs, chicken sausage, and more...so much of everything..next time I'm trying the shrimp and grits. Price is fabulous for what you get. Service is a little slow, but at least you have time to enjoy your meal.

expect to wait for a little minute but best believe they are working as fast and hard as they can ! food was great, very filling ! I had the chicken and waffles, chicken was nothing special but the waffle was cooked to perfection and my cousins girlfriend had the strawberry cheesecake stuffed french toast which she loved ! the price was bad at all for the amount of food you get and it comes out quick hot and ready ! wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

For those from Atlanta, you’re likely familiar with The Flying Biscuit - its namesake is delicious and the creamy, dreamy grits are worth the calories. This Houston outpost is smaller and wasn’t as crowded as I’ve seen in other cities. I had the mini bowl which included grits, cheese, sausage and egg with a biscuit. This was plenty of food for brunch and all the other portions are rather large.

The description is deceptive, southern food this is not😒 it is frozen precooked, prepackaged dehydrated food. I ordered the grits, as that is what I was craving that morning, sausage, potatoes, eggs with their signature biscuit. Food was room temperature bordering on cold. Nothing special OR southern about any of the food. The grits were GROSS! The biscuit was so not warm that their Apple butter wouldn't even melt. The atmosphere was cool, definitely not instep with the run of the mill food they serve. Utensils looked unappealing, used my daughter's spoon instead. This place reminds me of Barnabys, another run of the mill breakfast spot that tries to use aesthetic to pass off conventional low end conference food as "southern Americana"....

Service was good. Food was great and portions were generous. The grits were amazing: creamy and well-seasoned. The French toast was so huge, my friend and I had to share it.

I was looking for breakfast in the area and tried The Flying Biscuit Cafe for the first time. Service was good and we didn't wait long for our food. Food overall was ok. I had the hot chicken and waffles and had to get another waffle due to the sauce making it soggy. Chicken had a good flavor. My wife had eggs, chicken patties, and a waffle with toppings, which were ok as well.

It was very crowded. Despite that I only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table. The restaurant is cute. Not very big, but big enough. Lots of murals on the walls. The French toast was good. My favorite was the grits and the biscuit was very good too. I wasn’t a huge fan of the eggs etc but they were ok.

Had a fantastic experience at The Flying Biscuit Cafe! The bright and inviting decor created a welcoming atmosphere. Despite the bustling crowd, we were seated promptly. Our waitress impressed with her friendly, speedy, and attentive service, showcasing a professional and friendly demeanor. The food was exceptional, boasting excellent taste and seasoning that surpassed both our taste buds and expectations. No doubt, I'll be returning the next time I visit Houston.

Food was bomb af 🤩. Everything we tried was so good. We had biscuits and gravy which was amazing, strawberry cheesecake stuffed French toast, pancakes that were super fluffy, and the hot honey chicken and waffles was again amazing. We will be coming back.

Dawn was our server, and was all over it! Always checking in, making sure we were okay, and that we had what we needed. Food was yummy, and the mimosa flight was excellent! Definitely returning!
