Really cute restaurant with the option to sit inside or out on the patio. The prices are a little high but the quality of the food is good. I got the vegetarian plate and everything was really tasty. The falafel were very light and crispy, some of the best I've had in Houston. We really loved the hummus and the warm pita. Check this place out if you're in the area.

Island grill is a beautiful restaurant, but the food just doesn't live up to the hype or its pricing. The smoothies are great though! Vibe: The interior and patio area was really nice. Service was great. Parking was tough as there are not a whole lot of spots dedicated to the island grill. Food: If you have never had Mediterranean food before and/or are a picky eater, this could be a good introduction to the cuisine as they have the dishes but with only about 1/4 of the authentic flavor. If you have had legit Mediterranean food, do not come here as you will be sorely disappointed. We tried the gyro platter, reuben sandwhich, and caesar salad. The pita was dry and stale and the gyro was bland. The pastrami was also bland, sauerkraut did not have any real acidic punch, and the thousand island sauce was weak. Fries were good. The caesar salad was basic romaine with caesar dressing - kinda small and nothing special, but cost about $13. We did try a smoothie and it was great! The free soft serve is a nice touch.

Met with my brother here to pay a little catch up. It was my first time visiting this restaurant. He recommended the Chicken Pita, without hesitation. I'm glad that he did, because I'll be returning in the near future for another one!

First time trying it and I love it! The food is fresh, the pastries are delicious. Next time I want to try their smoothies 😋

Got the kabob plate beef and chicken. Chicken was good but beef was too chewy. I won't get the beef again. Everything else was decent. Lemonade is very sweet but at a couple squeezes of the available lemon slices and it's great.

I'm glad I decided to give this place a shot. It's casual type of restaurant, very clean especially with COVID and everyone had their masks on. The staff was friendly, explained to me what their most popular menu was, which was nice. I went with the cobb salad with shrimp (added) and tried the grilled chicken pita. Omg, the plating of the salad was beautiful and the food was sooo delicious. It tasted healthy and the portion was large. I really liked everything. The grilled chicken pita was a bit heavy for me but still yummy. I see a lot of people raving about their smoothie/juice, so I will try that next time!

Very open, small Cafe shop. Pastries, food, and beer. The outside patio is covered and with the mild Temps and a gentle breeze, it was perfect!!!

Overall pretty bad experienece, wouldnt recommend visitng at all service is trash. Honestly came across as a borderline rascist establishment front desk lady was incredibly rude and short with me and hispanic woman in front of me. Like wouldnt even give me an eta on my pick up order after waiting 15minutes and arriving when doordash said the order was ready. But her entire demeanor would change to the sweetest woman for customers of a caucasian background. Sucks because I always doordash delivery their burger to my apt and they are fire. But yeah felt like I was treated garbage in person so im never going back and regret being regular.
