Attended birthday party at 10pm on Saturday. Parking was limited: on street or old post office parking lot. The place has long bar, small dance floor and DJ area. Lots of seating. Age range was 30 & up. Music was mix of R&B, old school rap & zydeco. The outside is 👏 AMAZING ..games, lights, trees like an island experience. 2 bars outside and fans. Great to place host outdoor event! The owner or manager was attentive. The 4 star was because the outside had horrible odor which manager explained efforts to eliminate smell. More cooling fans needed outside. Couldn't tell you about the cost or strength of drinks: I didn't drink🤫 Nice spot 👍

My first time was watching a friend, Michael Reeves, perform on R&B Thursdays at the Cafe Lounge. They have an R&B/Poetry lineup which consists of great local artists. More so, drink specials ($5 Well before 8 p.m.), food, hookah & more. So far I like this place. I believe it will be booking this fall (2019).

Great low key spot with a lounge like feeling. The drinks were VERY graciously poured and the atmosphere was laid back and fun. The hookah was only $25 instead of the $40 were about to be charged down the street. GREAT location for the grown folks.

The food is a soul food buffet style brunch. The food was very well seasoned, could've been a bit warmer on some dishes. The spot was hosted a reunion gathering, so the people that were not there for the gathering we assembled in a corner, and sort of lacked attention. On a regular Sunday, it probably would've been a better rating.

I went last night 5/12/23. So the vibe is amazing I enjoy the Poetry/ Live Band is amazing!!!! The patio is a vibe as well!! There was an issue with overcharged to my card. I ordered the catfish 17$ a soda and 4 beers which bought my total to $25. I did order one more beer after closing that tab. When I received the final bill it was 57.98$ How? I addressed the bartender about he stated that the 25$ would go back on my card. And this evening I see the 57.98 coming out of my account. Trying calling the number provided on goggle bad number. So I came here to get this handled. Most definitely disputing the charges.

I wanted to like this place. I did. We went on a Friday for the live music and bites. They don’t have a range of parking so good luck finding any you’ll pretty much have to make a spot. Next the service was horrible. The waiter was dancing and enjoying herself instead of taking care of her tables. We had to end up asking another server to take care of us. Next the food was bland. Literally feel like everything was frozen and they tossed it in the air fryer. We had some queso and chips. The chips were so stale and the cheese tasted like powder cheese.we ordered a platter the wings and burgers were just awful like how do you ruin bar bites? The live music was supposed to have started by 10:00 by 11:00 nothing had started. The drinks were subpar. By the end of this awful experience we left early. We paid for the table and tried to give it away but the promoter made the people get up and said we couldn’t do that. Why couldn’t I give my table away that was already paid for? Never again will return.

This was a horrible experience. 1. The flyer said a tribute to Prince which didn't occur until the 2nd set because we complained 2. They attempted to.charge us $20 despite us having an Eventbrite tickets 3. We waited over an hr for shrimp n fries that were cooked in 1999 Grease 4. The gratuity is automatic for poor service 5. The band constantly asking for tips instead of letting the Performance speak for them..

Had a blast! Went to a private event /party that was hosted there. We played a murder mystery game where everyone had to participate. The host and staff were great.

It was Good, not overcrowded...guests were on the patio areas and inside...the drinks were good the crowd was mature. Saw The Hue perform as always a great Local Group, that kept the energy up in the place, the crowd was on their feet.

Had a night out at this place when they had jazz night. Small bar, decent atmosphere. I’m not a hooka/smoking kind of chic, but if you’re into that, you’ll blend in well.

What an amazing experience we had here on a Friday night Our waiter, Chris (I believe that's his name) with dreadlocks served us and wow, what an experience. He danced with us, sang with us, very attentive, ensured that we didn't need anything. He was s0000o funny, had our stomachs in knots the life of the party. Meanwhile, this young man was professional, well mannered and I couldn't as for a better server. Let's not forget about the catfish platter that was DELICIOUS. Haven’t had dirty rice like that in years also Great job to the young lady, Marium (spell check) who sang her heart out..She performed very well! Taking us back to old school to new school R&B We will be visiting again soon this place is was amazing perfect place for a date night or just night out with the girls..definitely a grown and sexy establishment I give it 10 out of 10 ..

We celebrated our 55th class reunion. Phillis Wheatley Wildcats class of 1967 still going strong. It was awesome!

4212 isn’t open for business! I’m new to Houston and wanted to enjoy some good jazz! Very disappointed!

Great live music on Friday! My friends and I had such a great time we stayed until an hour after closing. The staff kindly put us out. Will be back!!!

Great LIVE music joint.The mix of vintage and live music. A mature crowd. A great combination. Good food..With lots of space. Plenty of parking Your gonna love the patio. It's BOSS.

The drinks were great; however, the food was good, except the fries were cold, and I was given pieces that looked like it came from the bottom of the pan. For that reason, I gave four stars, and that was because I was being nice.

Very nice hangout spot It was my first time visiting and I enjoyed myself. The atmosphere was grownup and mature and I really looked forward to that. The bar was well stocked and the bartenders are quick and accurate. They didn't disappoint.

Enjoyed the hospitality and music. Definitely will check it out again. The Birthday celebration for Mr. Randolph was special!!🌻

The ent entertainment was great. The only complaint is that we had to stop a waiter/waitress to put in an order that we never got. The waiter/waitress checked on everyone else in rhe area we were sitting in except for our table.

Nice vibe! Enjoyed the patio. Great music! The DJ was da bomb!! Cigars on the patio was just wonderful! The Decor both inside and outside is so nice.
