After looking at the reviews I was spectacle about my stay! But for the first time I can say the reviews were not the same experience I had while staying!!!!!! This hotel was beautiful when you first walk in nice set up of couches and furniture all front desk associate were sweet kind and helpful. Once I got to my room on the 6th floor I was in Awe how beautiful the rooms were because in reviews they made it seem like the hotel was dirty and A hot mess šŸ˜’ I stayed for 3 days. Our room was cleaned everyday BREAKFAST was delicious and I know this review is getting lengthy but just want to give recognition were do ā¤ļø Check it out yourself.

Truly the worst experience Iā€™ve had at any Hyatt. The staff is terrible and have no understanding of the hotel. I arrived and was given a different room than I booked. The A/C motor was broken and had to switch rooms 3 times. They painted my room while I was occupying it and left a note on the bed that said not to touch the walls. Rooms were dirty and I would have been better off sleeping in my car. Then I was told to call corporate if I wasnā€™t satisfied with their service

Good: Bed was comfy Location.... Easy off and on the freeway, near some fast food and gas stations too. Just no sit down dinning we going close by.. Staff was also nice. A/c worked good Things to think about b4 staying here: Room had 2 towels and one wash cloth.. no hand towels..... Shower had hair on the wall. Carpet was burned in one spot. Although staff was friendly they were also on their phones watching TV. Breakfast wasn't your typical Hyatt place... Closed at 930. And was the bare minimum. (Usually what I love about Hyatt but a bit disappointing) I would give this a 2.5 stars. Good for one night if you just need to crash.

Honestly not worth the stay unless you enjoy smelling mildew and dust throughout the entire hotel ā€” including the rooms. I only needed the room for a couple hours so it was whatever for me. But if you plan on staying here for a while, just know the air is inhabitable and the double beds are twin sized. I have higher standards when it comes to travel so that was completely unacceptable. However I think I redeemed my Hyatt points for that reservation so the room was either free or under 60$. Iā€™m sorry I canā€™t express enough how much this hotel stinks.

Clean the rooms and public spaces better. The room I was in had no phone. I had to use my phone to call front desk. The room wasnā€™t cleaned properly. I never seen stains on towels at hotels. Iā€™ve stayed in high end and low end and super 8 donā€™t even have stains on the towels. Roaches was coming from the bathroom. I asked to be switched to another room. The rooms donā€™t come with microwaves. Iā€™m used to having one or I can either request to have one brought to my room but not this hotel. Plus I had to go to the breakfast area to heat up my food the floor was nasty and sticky!!! I lost my appetite for breakfast because if you can simply mop the floor I donā€™t want to eat no food from there. Plus the trash cans was over flowed in the common area. I stayed here before in March and I had no complaints. Idk what changed but itā€™s nasty

Second time I have stayed here. My first experience was good. Now on the second run, Iā€™m highly disappointed. I know they are renovating but the current state the rooms are is not good. Restroom tiles are dirty. Restroom door has pieces broken off. Our room light doesnā€™t work. I had to request for them to change our original room and the new room was still the same condition. Came back to the hotel to find a cockroach crawling. Until the hotel condition is highly improved and newly renovated I will not be returning.

Booked because weā€™ve always had a good experience at Hyatt. Left before even going to our room. Front desk staff was bizarre and couldnā€™t seem to answer basic questions. Trash in the lobby. Tried to charge a pet fee larger than the room rate for our service dog and then told me that ā€œEvery Hotel has a that feeā€. No. We are a military family moving across the country, weā€™ve never been charged a fee for our service dog. I was willing to just pay as it was late. But then, in the middle of the check in, a woman came up and asked if there were ANY BUGS CRAWLING ON HER BACK. To which the staff member replied OH THERE ARE ALL KINDS OF LITTLE CREATURES HERE! Nope. Not for me. I quickly found another hotel for my family. No bugs. No pet fee. Trust your gut. Donā€™t stay at this ā€œhotelā€.

Worst experience ever my truck was broken into and they tried to steal it. I stayed here to be close to airport for flight to Florida BIG MISTAKE people here act like nothing was stolen so nothing happened well I canā€™t turn my truck on wires are cut everywhere and my truck wonā€™t recognize my key. I thought this was a nice hotel boy was I wrong. Canā€™t get in contact with a supervisor until 9-10am and my flight leaves at 10am there should be protocols for stuff like this. I stayed here with my 2 kids thinking itā€™s a safe place I was wrong donā€™t make the same mistake as I did!

The room was TERRIBLE! I had to go out and buy my own towels because the staff said the didn't have any. The fixtures throughout my room and bathroom had excessive rust all over them. The room had a smell, they would not change, accommodate, refund,or anything for all for these issues, but asked if I would give them another chance ... I guess I was expected to waste my money twice smh. I do not recommend this location for anyone, not even a pet .... 10 thumbs down for this location and staff

I loved my business stay here, both my flights were very late the front desk employees were attentive each time, in particular on my most laborious day coming back Kayla took great care of my needs. It was 2:30am when I shared my concerns about things I needed.., I was here for the first time in Houston, Texas and I was very happy that it was welcoming, safe and comfortable. Kayla gave me a new toothbrush bc I left mine, toothpaste packets, reminded me I had a complimentary water, she gave me all the details of the amenities and breakfast/ snack options. I was traveling alone on a work trip with very little sleep and by her accommodating me in the late hours, it made my night more enjoyable. The Hyatt is clean, modern, and stylish inside. The rooms are very spacious, cozy and comfortable. The shower is big, the bed is perfect, the couch was comfortable and a pull out bed. The tv options were plentiful, wifi worked well, and location was conveniently 25-30 minutes from the airport. Itā€™s a quiet area which is very important for my sleep. Restaurants surround the building (waking distance). Thank you Hyatt & Kayla for making my nights comfortable.

I was highly disappointed in the service and the quality of the hotel. It felt more like a rent by the hour motel then a hyatt. They didn't clean our room one time during our 5 day stay. No clean towel exchange or anything. We left for three hours and told housekeeping they could clean the room and do towels while we were gone. She finishing the room next door when we left. We came back to the same room. I disliked everything about this hotel

Put in a toxic smelling room that has an air purifier running when we walked it. The machine had a warning label that read: ā€œThis commercial air cleaner is for use in unoccupied space only.ā€ GREAT! Such a pleasant surprise, especially after checking at 11pm. The front desk couldnā€™t of been more unconcerned about the staff situation. Really disappointed in how our safety was treated. We got a new room. The new room had a broken shower with the shower head laying in the tub. A horrible experience overall.

If I could put a zero star I most certainly would! I am not one to leave extremely negative reviews but this experience alone will cause me to never book with Hyatt anywhere again. Front desk Rep Alyssa was extremely rude. They canceled my booking without contacting me ahead of time (even though the GM Desirah said someone contacted at 8 am- I have no missed calls for the entire day). I received a random email that they canceled my reservation although I booked back in April prior to my stay. I contacted them because I need a double bed room- they stated that they were booked up and my reservation was considered invalid since they tried to randomly charge my card before I got there. Stating this is there policy (although it is nowhere on the website nor is it in the emails I have received regarding my booking). I requested to speak with the manager and she just talked over me. I kept repeating her name to get her attention but she was too busy trying to fast talk me. That is not how you talk to customers. When I requested information to contact a higher up she said there is no one she reports to (A BOLD FACE LIE unless she owns the hotel herself). Her response when I called her out on her bluff was go on the website and find the email. I use a hotel almost once a month for traveling and I decided to change it up and book with Hyatt never again. Two hours away from arriving to Houston and I had to call around to find a location to stay at for the weekend. Oh, and to make matters even "better" I contacted corporate and they hung up on me twice before I could even state my case. Thankfully, I spoke with a very sweet customer service representative who took my information and confirmed that that is not a policy of theirs AND my reservation was not canceled in the system after all.

Hereā€™s a gem of advice: before any hotel booking, peek at HoteIDuIIy.cį“m Itā€™s a game changer. If I could stay at this location my entire stay I would! Staff is very accommodating and friendly. Clean lobby. Clean room. Microwave not in room but there is one in the lobby available 24/7. Breakfast from 6a-9a. Short time, yes, but food is good and so is the coffee. The room is very nice, but do shower early as closer to check out time there will be a shortage on hot water. No bugs. Comfortable bed, no smell. Very spacious. Budget friendly compared to its competitors but very high class! Love the business area, was able to use the computers. Does have wifi. Does have a large common area in the lobby to your choosing. I found a neat little space to relax in as I could not sleep during the night. Quiet. There is also a bar area.

Great to stay near the airport. A lot of restaurants in the area are closed on weekends fyi. The room was updated and super clean with the exception of the restroom which did not match at all. Rusted and chipped bathtub and old scratchy towels, but maybe they'll get to that update later. Great breakfast and the staff team was all super nice. Overall a great stay for a night.

Nice and clean. Friendly staff. Great accommodations. Nice breakfast. If you need anything they are right on it. First time but not my last. Came from Louisiana and slept we. Great area. Close to lots of eateries and Walmart is not far.

We booked 2 rooms in advance for 3 weeks and paid for them. Our flight was delayed for 3 hours. We got there late and checked in late. So they gave our rooms to someone else and offered us to go to another hotel. It was too late and we didnā€™t want to drive around. Anyway, they gave us the most dirty rooms ever! We had to clean, trash and changed complete bed sheets ourselves. By the time we left, they charged us like normal since we did pay for it. I tried to call them and ask for the refundā€¦ it is horrible to deal with them to get our money back! OMG I hope I will get my money back soon! So disappointed!

I had a disappointing experience here at the Hyatt Place. I stayed for one night (7pm-10am) for a quick trip. When I arrived, I wanted to shower and noticed they left me NO body towels. I tried to call housekeeping and the front desk and no answer. After arriving back to my home state, I noticed a $20 charge for damage. I called the hotel and initially they told me I ripped a towel. Then they told me I was charged for makeup on a towel. That was appalling! I'm a pretty frequent traveler and have even worked at a hotel in the past. Never heard of a charge for makeup on a towel. Do they not realize how many OTHER disgusting and unnoticeable stains are on towels? There are plenty of hotels in the area, I'd warn against this one. The downstairs is also extremely noisy. Luckily for me I only stayed one night. The only reason I'm even giving the hotel 2 stars is because the woman at the front desk was very sweet. They really deserve a 1.

I was concerned because of the previous reviews, but it was nice. One of the better free breakfast I've had at a hotel. The hot items were good. The room was clean and there was daily housekeeping services. The staff were friendly and provided great customer service. The negatives were the carpet and towels. There were huge stains on the carpet. They should switch to a floor that can be cleaned. The towels had stains. I would suggest using Tide and bleach. Had to use my bathrobe to dry off.

Was a little worried because of the roaches in the reviews. We didnā€™t see one until the middle of the night that came up from the bathroom. Nice parking area where we could park in a lit up area. Staff were great and check in and out process was good. Breakfast was good as well. Personally have a phobia against roaches so wouldnā€™t be coming back. But otherwise better than expected.

Very quick and courteous staff. I had a service dog with me, and unfortunately some places are undereducated about the laws regarding service animals. Not this place. The woman working the check in desk knew what questions to ask and what to look for with him and was very quick and kind. The room was clean, well sized and had an amazing view. It was also quiet, although there were a good number of other guests. Very nice place, and if I'm ever in Houston again and in need of a place to rest my head for the night, this is where I'll go!

. My experience here at the Hyatt place was lovely despite the hiccup of having it flooded toilet. Front Desk a very customer friendly and it was very clean throughout the whole area. Also whoever the the cook is the breakfast were dynamically good and it's a real breakfast. So, I would highly recommend this place to stay while being in Houston

Staff we're friendly and rooms were clean. Breakfast was nice, they had a good selection of foods to choose from. One thing was strange to me, a car on blocks in the parking lot. It looked like someone had stole all 4 wheels and tires then used blocks from the hotel landscaping. (DONT KNOW THIS TO BE TRUE) only my opinion of what I seen.

First time in this hotel chain... completely satisfied! Room layout is excellent. Amenities way above par. Staff attentive and friendly but not obnoxiously so. For 75 bucks, I'm hooked. Will most certainly stay again.
