👍 Nice place to rest while riding the Root River trail. Nice playground for the kids, but it's not a jungle gym type place. Rather, it's a hill, some carved items to climb on, a rock tunnel and other "natural things" kids like.

Nicest trailhead I have seen. Clean bathrooms, showers, camping available and lots of things to keep you busy.

It was a great place to visit but the hike down to the beach was pretty intense. We sat up top and watched the sunset it was beautiful.

A beautifully maintained campsite. It's well run and very clean. My best friend and I camp there over the weekend and we loved it. I would definitely visit again if I had the opportunity.

Beautiful place for a picnic under the shade of some trees or enjoy miles of a walking/bike trail. Very well kept place.

It was a super fun place to go with kids! The natural playground was creative and unique. It features an above ground fort, a sliding pole, a climbing rope, lots of rocks and boulders to climb on, and a walking mandala. There are also a few short trails to walk along next to a pond. The smell of sweet grass along the trail was enough to make me smile and truly appreciate the moment. Definitely going back!

Awesome place to visit!! Lots of things to do there between the owl center, zip line area and trails.

Great park! We got there on our bikes after the guest center closed, but the gentleman inside saw us and came out to tell us where water was, to make sure we knew showers were available, etc. We were there mid May, the night before the start of the bluegrass festival, so we had the park to ourselves.

Super impressed with this park. Clean and quiet. Many different things to play on and explore, but not overwhelming and plastic. We loved all the natural elements! We'll be back!
