Best poke bowls in the city. I have been coming to this place since they opened and they never disappoint. The fish is always fresh, the toppings always ample and the cost is very reasonable for what you get. The staff is great too, very helpful and always willing to go the extra mile. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs great poke at a great price.

Nice little restaurant. I was in the neighborhood and decided to investigate. The place is very clean and I ordered because everything looks very fresh. I was pleased with my order. It's a little pricey for a bowl and a green tea. My only pet peeve is the plastics used. Not eco-friendly.

Clean, straight forward service. Food is prepared on the spot similar to Chipotle and Subways, but sushi style. The burrito resembles a jumbo sized sushi roll. Flavor is good. This location has designated parking in from of the store and additional in the plaza that it's located. For the COVID conscience, they still maintain strict precautions. Does not appear as dining in is an option as no tables are set.

For just under $14 I got this bowl. Their regular size is massive and a good price. Quality was great. Really enjoyed this particular combination. I ordered online and immediately went to pick it up. Got there and the food was ready. Really quick, great for being on a rush but wanting a healthy and quick option.

Do yourself a favor and go around the corner to Pokeworks. I did not like the quality of the food here. The rice was over cooked and the fish was weirdly mushy, as if it was frozen, thawed, and refrozen many times. The amount of fish they give you is extremely skimpy and all the sauces are SUGAR bombs. It almsot tastes like dessert. Pokeworks gives much more generous portions of fish and the fish is much higher quality. The cut on the veggies is much neater and the taste is a lot better.

Honestly 5/5 food but just a little too expensive. Expected for Poke though. Loved the bowl itself. It was healthy and had lots of flavor. Highly recommend the spicy sauce to finish off whatever bowl you get.

Best poke in H town so far! We can't dine in at the moment, due to the pandemic, but luckily the take out is equally as good!!! I love the portions and the quality is sooo good! The point card is totally worth it, once you collect 10 stamps you get a free poke bowl.

Delicious poke, I had leftovers. Would dine again. We ate in the restaurant, which was nice. Not pretentious, very chill, easy to read menu, great quality.

Far from fancy but I don't care. Every other poke place in town has a "fishy" day once in a while but never these guys. The fish never tastes fishy. The restaurant never smells like fish. I see them clean the prep area after almost every single customer. They even manage to do it while maintaining a better array of options than any other poke spot. There are other places that, at their best, make better food than Poke In the Bowl, but every single one of them has off days. This place is reliable, clean, and always fresh. I'll keep coming here as long as they don't ruin the streak.

The food taste amazing and is always fresh. I’ve eaten at several Poke places across Houston and this one has it all, large selection of protein, veggies, and toppings. You get plenty of food for your money. I’ve never left hungry or unsatisfied.

Never again! I ate here on Sunday, December 10, 2023. I had food poisoning that left me sick in bed for 3 days. I ordered tuna and raw salmon. It was not the first time I ate here but it will surely be the last! Be careful what you eat!!!

Ordered online for pickup. Upon arrival, the manager was smoking directly outside the door. The large bowl didn’t come with more fish than the regular size. They also didn’t include one of the sauces we ordered. The fish was warm! Completely disgusting. We didn’t end up eating the food at all because of how warm the fish was. I called and asked for a refund and the manager was essentially arguing with me and wouldn’t help at all. Never returning here.

This place is good! Prices reasonable, food was fresh (especially the tuna). The place is clean and well maintained, even the bathrooms. Will definitely be back to try different combinations

My go-to poke spot for when I need a non-greasy, healthy meal. Love this place! Tasty food, many topping options, generous portions.

We love going to Poke in the Bowl for dinner! We always go into the store and order in person. Sometimes we eat the food there; sometimes we take it home. It's more of a take-out place so when we do eat in the store, we're usually the only ones. We've never had to wait to order. The space is clean; the ingredients, fresh; and the servers, professional. The menu offers a larger portion, but the smaller "2 scoops of rice + 2 proteins" option is always plenty of food for us. My advice would be to be brave and try some new toppings and/or mixing two sauces instead of getting just one--you might be pleasantly surprised. Enjoy!

I paid $13 for a bowl and both workers skimped out so much on the fish and toppings?? The fish didn’t taste really fresh either tasted kinda warm. I was just so shocked at how much they both skimped out, like she put five pieces of tiny tiny strips of nori and called it a day. Would not go here again, felt like I was eating a rice bowl over a poke bowl. Feel really ripped off right now

My first time hearing of this restaurant from my teenage son. He suggested this place to me one day when we were looking somewhere to get something to eat. Once we got there, I felt a bit overwhelmed at first with the food options because i was skeptical if I would like it. I would like to acknowledge the man who worked behind the counter that helped me put my poke bowl together. He was patient by asking me what I liked, telling me what each items are and the flavor that each gives. He also mentioned the popular items. This place is excellent in my opinion for first time goers who want the experience of trying something new. My poke bowl was so good! that I had to tell my son about it. He said to me, "I know" with confidence. Lol. I do plan to try this restaurant again but they don't have a location close to where I live. The location that we went to is near the Heights, on Westheimer.

Generally great poke spot, but it was close to closing time and I stopped to grab a bite before heading home. The server did not pay any care to how she set up the poke bowl, it was a slight mess.

Food was very tasty. I ordered the large bowl with salad base and the order was correct. The fishies were fresh. I liked the wasabi aioli sauce- a little kick without being overpowering. But i was still hungry. It is very good but greens and just a few ounces of fish are pretty low calorie and isn't enough to fill you up. I would recommend if you are getting the bowl of rice as a base.

Compared to other poke places in the area, this one is trash. I don’t know how they have 4.5 stars. probably offer a discount in exchange for a good review. Their ingredients are not cut well, employees are rude, the “large” is more like half of a regular at pokeworks (should’ve went there instead of here)
