Had the jackfruit bbq burger and it was so incredibly flavourful and moist! Parking was super easy right outside. Am not used to tinted windows so wasn’t sure if it was open but it was and so good!

Something is great about this restaurant that makes sure you visit there again, and that's its food. One of the delicious vegan places where the fusion of right ingredients creates a tasteful memory.

A delicious and delightful find whilst in Houston. The fresh food is prepared on site and the juices are mind blowing! 🤯 I wish I knew how they made the juice - they were really good. The enter choices are wonderful, plentiful and served generously. There are so many add ins offered- more veggies (the mushrooms were fab). It is refreshing to have a business like Green Seed vegan so close to the medical district too. As a patron, we are good food and supported a local business- so this meal was good for you and good for the soul too. Thank you Green Seed!

The menu can be a bit overwhelming but they are so patient with answering questions. I find it best do Google them and show pictures of previous post 😆. They area true vegan restaurant. Being vegetarian, some places will make the claim but have all kinds of unhealthy food. Many options for sure!

Amazing delicious plant based restaurant!! I was in Houston for the weekend and found this gem. Wish they exist in NYC!! They'd be super popular!! There were so many options on the menu and I wish my stomach was bigger to try more things. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed the solburger (lovely dressing for the hemp seeds based patty!), Nori rolls, cauliflower nuggets and their smoothies. Prices are super fair in fact on the low side if one thinks about the high quality ingredients used and inflation these days! The sweet potato fries were good too not too greasy. Service was very fast and friendly. They had strawberry raw cheesecake sweetened with coconut nectar! I'd come back to Houston just for this place.

We ordered 2 collard greens wraps and they were great. The staff was very patient and helpful, as this was our first visit. Recommend giving them a try if you want something tasty, healthy, and can be eaten on the go.

Green Seed Vegan was in a nice location and has a unique selection of tasty food. The parking was quite difficult, and the food was a little too expensive for what it was, and this includes the juices that one might order there. Obviously, it is vegan-friendly, though I could not speak to other dietary requirements. Would be an acceptable place for meat-eating friends to join in a meal.

LOVED this place. The food was really great and it’s one of the only places in Houston with a large Vegan selection. There are a variety of paninis, sandwiches, burgers, elixirs, smoothies, and other options! It’s a rather big menu! The Hulk smoothie was one of the best smoothies I’ve ever had and the Chicken(Cauliflower) sandwich was really good. The service was great. The food was fresh and it came out within 5 minutes. The building is small, but the place was full - without a line! I drove 35 minutes for some good Vegan food and I was definitely impressed. Will return!

This place is a classic in the Vegan Scene. Very flavorful burgers and dishes along with juices. I came here with a co worker to try out their Jalapeno avocado burger. I had not been here since 2017 . Damn feels like just yesterday. The taste is always there. The only draw side is the prices are through the roof. A meal for 2 ran 50 bucks plus tax. Kind of price to pay 15 dollars per burger. Nevertheless it is still a good place for fast food vegan healthy spot. A lot of vegan burgers use soy and other weird GMO processed crap. Green seed does a good job of using better ingredients like Quinoa and other non GMO veggies to make their burgers. Their Cauliflower nuggets are the best in town. If you stop by here try them. Their sweet potato fries are also on point. This is coming from someone that hates sweet potatoes. ig @gods_trust_

I'm not vegan, but if the food is good, does it really matter? The Illy cheesesteak (portabella mushrooms, caramelized red onions, cheese, mayo and mustard on a whole wheat french baguette) is incredible! Relaxed atmosphere and great location. Employees are top notch!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Green Seed, the staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. I love how intimate the place is. They have outside seating too which is nice.. overall it's a place where vegans and non-vegans alike can gather and savor mouthwatering dishes. If you're looking to explore the world of plant-based cuisine or simply enjoy a delicious meal, Green Seed is an absolute must visit. I had A panini and my husband had one of the burgers, and my goodness those sweet potato fries are a MUST HAVE. 🤤 (The fry portion is bigger we just couldn't wait to eat them)

I had the latini with dill fries. Absolutely delicious. Not a vegan but will be back. There is a parking lot. The restaurant seemed closed when I pulled up because windows are all tinted. I’m glad I didn’t drive off!

Use to go here when I was in college but stopped. I thought it would be good to try again… food was still good but the serving size was small. Below are the cauliflower nuggets. I already ate 2, but it was $6 for 9… I looked at previous pictures on the reviews and others have gotten more. I also use to get these a couple years ago and I use to get 10-15. Customer service was also non-existent. Lastly, brownie was not good.

I’m slightly addicted! The beetroot brownies are amazingly delicious! The nori rolls and Sol wrap are my favorites! I have tried the CheeZecake and shroom Philly, the Philly was good but I’m not a fan of the size and the mushrooms were scarcely. The cheeZecake was really good but I tasted more of the raspberry filling and nut crust then I did the raw cashew cream which I definitely was expecting more cashew cream for $9 (4 oz). Service is usually fast because I always order to go, the dine in area is nice but small and tables are usually a little dirty but for the most part they are welcoming and food is delicious! I’m glad they have a lot of raw choices as well!

A very delicious meal and juices. My father and I were in town visiting and had the pleasure of eating here on our last day in town. I had the Solburger and my dad had the Bombay panini. The food was delicious. I wanted to taste everything but will have to wait til my next visit to Houston.

Amazingly fresh food, wonderful vegan and raw options. Great juices and a hibiscus tea that is so refreshing. Very small dining area but seats also available outside.

Went in today after working out and what I thought would be a quick visit for just a smoothie was the complete opposite. I went around 2pm so, they were a little busy but it took 20 minutes to get one smoothie. I must say it was delicious but the service was very slow.

I have been going to this place for YEARS and I absolutely love it. One thing I do miss that I wish they would bring back were their cupcakes!!! They were to DIE FOR!!!!! Their rawkin tacos are insanely good. I always get 3 orders of them. It is worth every penny!!! Cauliflower nuggets are also awesome, and I highly recommend the big tex as well

I visited Green Seed Vegan in October. I had seen a post from The Hungry Black Man on Facebook. I'm not Vegan, but I had to try. I had the Illy Cheesesteak, handcut dill fries, & root brownie. My friend had the garden fresh panini and sweet potato fries (recommended by The Hungry Black Man). I would definitely return. The food was delicious. The panini and dill fries were my favorites.

I’m a plant based restaurant lover, esp of raw delights! Unfortunately I can’t recommend the raw burger/collard wrap here at Green Seed cafe. The patty was dry and the item lacked flavor. the manager refused to trade the burger for a different dish even though I explained I don’t care for this item. The employee begrudgingly gave me some extra sauce to put on it (after trying to charge me for it). I don’t think I’ll be back here, due to the other many vegan cafes in Houston to try out :)

Delicious food!! I am not vegan, but my husband is, so we tried it out. Delicious! I had the illy cheesesteak with portobello mushroom. He had the tosh. Both were delicious. We also had a side of the dill fries. I would definitely recommend.

I have been wanting to come by and try these incredible paninis I keep hearing about and they did not disappoint! Perfectly crispy mushroom panini Sandwhiches with flavorful sweet potatoes. I also had the blue green algae shot because I plan to workout & boom I felt a pep in my step!!! Such a cute spot, full of smiles & so uplifting which are just added bonus to the delicious food!! Definitely worth the drive & I have to thank my air bnb host for amazing suggestions!!!

So so good! Got a burger, which is an indulgence for me. But it didn’t seem greasy or heavy. Super sweet staff, happy to accommodate. Loved getting reusable plates instead of throw away stuff. Hard to choose something off the menu because it all looked amazing.

Took a vegan colleague from out of town here for lunch. It was a bit confusing for them because English is not their first language and the menu uses terms like “chickun” to indicate plant-based meat substitutes. It’s also a bit tough to read the font of the menu above the casier and that made it harder for my colleague to understand what it said. The food was delicious and we both enjoyed our meals. It’s a bit pricey for the portion sizes, but I wasn’t hungry when I left and I recognize that (unfortunately) it is more expensive to source non-soy vegan ingredients. Parking could be a challenge during busy times and the spaces are not the easiest to navigate. Overall, it’s a great place to take someone with very restrictive dietary needs because they can accommodate pretty much anything (gluten-free, vegan, no soy, etc.).

Just moved to Houston and we’ve visited a few spots so far this being one of them. For starters when you walk in, the kitchen area is blacked out with curtains. That’s a little sketchy coming from a place that should be transparent about what they serve. Menu looks great and food sounds even better so that was a plus. I purchased one sandwich and one cheesesteak with a juice and the total was $29(usual price for full meal). But once the food came it was only the sandwiches which is EXTREMELY high for two sandwiches with no sides. The taste was pretty bland, there was no distinct flavoring in either sandwiches. Even after reading back over the menu I couldn’t tell what I was eating. It was like a mush lol. But overall NOT BAD, JUST NOT WORTH GOING OUT TO EAT🤷🏽‍♂️. You can make something decent at the crib and call it a day or go somewhere where the food is actually worth the pay. JUICE WAS AMAZING but it was simply fresh blended fruit. Not bad, NOT GOOD, just some food

This is my favorite vegan spot in Houston. I like that they require masks. Just put a mask on if you want service…not that hard. The place is quite small so really no room for social distancing. I always get the sweet porta panini, cauliflower nuggets and strawberry fields smoothie. $24 minus tip. I would say that the portion size of the cauliflower nuggets is quite small and the sweet porta is large. Service is always great.
