Urban eats has a beautiful spot & I loved the rooftop patio. My food was ok, I got the picnic sliders and was somewhat disappointed that the meat was a little dry and chewy. The flavor was great though, so I only share that to provide feedback - not criticism! My server was delightful and the rest of the staff was very kind and helpful as well. I will be back to check out the coffee, cocktails, & the decadent pastries! Thank you!

Service a bit rude at first. First time and wasn’t very delightful. Servers/counter servers must be more helpful with guests that haven’t visit the restaurant before. Very great farewell! Need to have the same energy as when you come in. Food: Award winning burger patty was amazing! Bread however a bit dry and crumbly. Bacon was hard and chewy instead of crispy. Wonderful crispy fries! 👍🏼 presentation 🔥

My first time here for brunch, the service was attentive, got seated quickly, drinks, food ordered & received quickly. Brunch was amazing. They also have great coffee & tea to make at home.

I just finished dinner here and let me say I AM PISSED!!! I ordered the salmon sliders. Needless to say prior to me complaining there was about 0.1 ounces of salmon on the sandwich. I then was giving more fish but had to wait for 15 minutes. Had to put the new fish on my old sandwich. 2 drinks and $24 later I yet to have any type of buzz. Yea let’s just say it’s a NO FOR ME AND YOU COULDN’T PAY ME TO EAT HERE AGAIN!!!!

Very satisfied with the food. I had the chicken lettuce wraps. It has a kick in it but very tasty. Also try the shrimp kale salad. Service is very good. And very attentive. Wait staff, all workers are wearing masks.

Mama, what a good first stop on my Houston Restaurant Weeks tour. I knew from the warm greeting by Robert that this was going to be a great meal. At $39 this meal didn't disappoint at all. The fried green tomato stack was the sleeper hit and probably my favorite part. In fairness, I was soon too stuffed to finish my dinner or dessert. I would definitely return. Pro Tip: if you are trying to avoid a crowd Tuesday nights at 6:30pm give you the ability to social distance cause it isn't as busy.

Disappointed. Food was cold, salad lacked dressing, drinks lacked character and service wasn’t good. The waitress had a rough attitude and never asked questions about how to provide better service. Everything we ordered took very long to be delivered… overall very poor.

I only gave 4 stars for the food because I haven't tried a wide enough variety. We mainly came for the drink so. The drinks were amazing! I mean amazing. The nest I've had in a while. The 2 drinks were something like a cucumber Martini refresher and their version of a French 75. Simply amazing. The bartenders were super nice and attentive. We plan to return in order to partake in the bottom level desserts! The food I might add, did look delectable so I'll review later about it.

an amazing spot tucked in Houston! it is so cute and is broken into 2 parts: bottom being market and top being restaurant! the food is truly so so fresh and the menu is vast with choices! the waitress was so sweet and we were able to choose where we sat. the fish was cooked amazingly and their lunch combos are tier 1! p a r k i n g: the parking here is very limited. please keep that in mind if planning on dining here, they have a small parking area outside and are able to park around the side! we went on a Wednesday which helped.

The food and coffee made it a five star experience. The green goddess salad was excellent and the desserts are as tasty as they are beautiful. Downstairs is counter service with a cozy atmosphere among the groceries. Upstairs is table service with a full bar. There is outdoor seating on both levels. Service was not as good. We were seated way in the back corner even though there were many better tables available. Our waitress was not attentive. They say up front they charge 3% for credit card use. We paid cash and it took awhile for them to figure out how to remove the extra charge. Recommend, but next time I'm staying downstairs!

Urban Eats is such a special place in Houston! To start, I’ve only had delicious meals here and have eaten my way through much of the menu. The sliders are a favorite, the monkey bread is a must for sharing amongst friends, and the brunch has something for everyone. Downstairs is the perfect spot for a coffee and biscuit while working or meeting with clients. The market makes it easy to pickup a quick side or meal for dinner later! Levi and Eric have poured the hearts into Urban Eats and you can feel it each time you walk in!

Food was delicious! I was hungry & was very satisfied with the portions. Waiter was nice and attentive. I got the shorty and grits and I would order it again it was that good. My pear-fection cocktail was good too. My husband tried the sliders.

We brought my mom and Aunt here for mother's day brunch and the food was so delicious! There was a bit of a wait, but the customer service was excellent and they comped us an appetizer for the wait. Our waiter was great and the atmosphere is chill and laid back. I will definitely visit here again 😋😊*pictured is pancakes with peanut butter praline syrup with scrambled eggs and bacon (if you like peanut brittle, then you will like the syrup) and chicken and pancakes

It was all around ok but not what we thought! I had the Salisbury steak sliders, which were really good. I would recommend them to anyone. Also it was pretty early like 11am when we came so service was a bit slow but I still give 5-stars because it did pick up plus our server was really nice!!

Urban Eats is a perfect place to enjoy a quiet evening coffee. Their coffee is amazing – bold yet smooth. I love their green goddess salad. If you are a dessert lover, this place is heaven. Everything is so delicious. They have a counter service downstairs. Upstairs, they have a table service with a full bar. You can also enjoy the outdoor seating available on both levels. Service could be better as the waiters were not very attentive. One more thing, they charge you for a credit card, So you better take some cash with you.

This is a cute place for brunch in the Heights. I stopped by for a very quick bite with two of my friends on a chill Saturday morning around 11:00am. There are two levels of seating inside as well as an outdoor patio. The tables inside are pretty close together so noise level can be an issue sometimes, esp with the upbeat music they play lol. I ordered the Parisian Breakfast for brunch with eggs over easy and a lovely side of croissant with Brie and Honey and also a baguette with strawberry preserves and whipped butter. My friends had the Duck Fat Camper's Hash and there were no complaints about that one either. The staff here is very cordial and friendly, I would like to come back again next time, and sit and chill for longer.

We love this place. This past week we got some of the prepared foods from the case as we had limited time. Normally, we eat upstairs in the dining room. The dining area is always consistently good and the sliders are my favorite. They’re so good. This trip though my daughter had a quiche and I had Brussels sprouts and chicken salad. Everything is prepared with quality ingredients and very flavorful. The lemon meringue pie was exceptional. I always pass straight through the market area and now I know that’s a mistake. Parking is a bit of a challenge as the back exit is closed at the moment.

I really enjoyed this place! Gorgeous day in Houston so we sat on the patio. There is a market downstairs and the restaurant is upstairs. Clever use of space and great set up. I have been here 3 times total and I have noticed service is slow if you aren’t sitting at the bar. I personally love sitting at the bar anywhere so if you are like me, opt for that. Patio has bar height and regular height tables. The chairs are metal and some are rusting. I want to make note of this because white or light clothing would be ruined! On to the food! Delicious! I have never had any complaints. If you love Mac n cheese, please try their truffle Mac. It’s just too good! Any of the sliders, the monkey bread, deviled eggs. All of it. Top tier. The one thing I tried that was new was the wings. Not a fan. Won’t order again but will stick to my favorites mentioned above. Atmosphere is great, very low key and artisanal. Will continue to be a customer.

Excellent!! We tried the three choices and they filled the bowl with salad and excellent dressing. I took cookies for later and they did not disappoint. I'd go here again and again.
