This place is an amazing BB. First of all the building and entrance is gorgeous. We absolutely loved our room. The bed was so cool and comfortable. There's a wrap around porch with private french doors leading out from our room for relaxing after a refreshing bath in the private jetted tub. We had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves.Willy made us delicious breakfast (quiche, fruit medley and toast) in the morning! She also gave us some suggestions for the best BBQ places to go for dinner tonight. We definitely recommend this bed and breakfas to anyone even on a business trip or just leisure. There's a huge conference room.

This intimate Bed and Breakfast is a haven for introverts who are looking to avoid the crowds of the big chain hotels! It felt like I was visiting a distant family. Public areas are very tastefully furnished and decorated and feel more like your distant European aunt's living room and parlor. In the morning the delicious home made breakfast is cooked in the kitchen of the living room and served in the cozy eating area with just four tables. I have a lovely chat with an owner and a chef, two very warm and welcoming people. I will never stay anywhere else if I am in Houston!

La Maison is a treasure conveniently located near the Museum District in Houston. It is an incredibly inviting BandB - clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The owners, Sharon and Genora, are wonderful hostesses. Chef Julia provided a scrumptious breakfast. We hope to return!

What a lovely stay we had here! The room was pretty and the bed was so comfortable. The bathroom had nice amenities and the shower had great pressure. The entire Inn is very warm and welcoming - just like the staff! Speaking with Tommi, Sharon, Genora and Val you feel like you're hanging out with old friends. The social hour was a nice surprise. The breakfasts were phenomenal! Definitely grab a room here if you can!

This was the greatest Bed & Breakfast experience I've ever had. The rooms and the entire place are immaculate. The staff was wonderful. I've never felt so comfortable away from home. The bed sleeps well, and the homemade breakfast by Chef Willie was absolutely delicious! The owners were kind, courteous, and professional. The guest room attendant clearly takes pride in her work. It definitely shows! I felt pampered while here, although it's not a spa! I'll definitely be staying here again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at La Maison. We cannot say enough about the warm hospitality and the fantastic accommodations. First - the hospitality: to start our stay, we were warmly welcomed by Tommi. Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast prepared by Matthew. And, for the entirety of our stay, we felt like we were at home. We took advantage of the conference room to have family meals and enjoyed the wine, coffee and other treats provided by the innkeepers and staff. The accommodations are comfortable, spacious and exceptionally well taken care of. We slept comfortably, thanks to a wonderful bed, extra pillows that are proactively provided and a phenomenal A/C system. We loved being able to relax outside with a cup of coffee every morning. We plan to stay at La Maison again, the next time we visit Houston.

This place is a gem. It is charming, comfortable, and quiet. The rooms are beautifully appointed and you feel like you are staying in an elegant home. The full breakfast service is excellent and the hosts are delightful. It is a great location in Midtown that is very convenient to most everything Houston has to offer. We are already looking for an excuse to stay there again.

The absolute best! Wife and I stayed one night, wished we could live there. The ladies who run the place are so sweet, and have a sense of humor. The rooms are a little small but they are very clean, up to date, and decked out. I asked one of the ladies for a razor and she said oh heck nah, what you shaving? And we both laughed because I have a bald head and a beard, she said hope not your face lol, she was so sweet. The breakfast omg was amazing. I love this place and the people who run it have a place in my heart, love you ladies, I will be staying next time I'm in houston for a night, that's a promise. Ms. Sharon and Ms. Genora are so amazing, so was the lady wo made our breakfast, yall so sweet. Hope to see you soon!

Overall, just an amazing experience! Quiet and serene environment! The room was elegant and very comfortable. The fresh roses in the room was a very nice touch!!!!! Anytime I stay in Houston, this is where I will stay! I couldn't complement them enough. We didn't stay around too enjoy the breakfast, but my fiance and I were very pleased with everything else!!!! Thank you so much for making our Houston trip an enjoyable and relaxing one!!!!!!

This was the most uniquely wonderful surprise I've ever had in hospitality! I was looking for a place to stay in Houston that wasn't a generic, forgettable corporate box. La Maison lands at the other end of the spectrum: every detail is beautifully, thoughtfully designed, and the entire experience is rendered with care and love for what they do there. The proprietors, Sharon and Genora, are welcoming and passionate about providing wonderful hospitality, which they deliver in spades. The rooms are immaculate, comfortable and luxurious. Comfy rocking chairs on the balcony are shaded by just enough tree cover to feel sheltered from the hustle and bustle of the city. Chef Julia (JuJu) conjured up the most magical breakfast I've ever had, by far. Not only is she a delightful person and an enormously gifted chef, she is also brimming with smart, innovative ideas that can change the world. It felt like a true gift to encounter these extraordinary women in such a magical place. La Maison was the most memorable experience of my visit to Houston, and I hope it continues to thrive for years to come!

This was the best B&B ever. Immaculate, beautifully decorated. Spotless. Room was charming and large with small touches like fresh cut roses on the night stands. Coffee, water and ice on the floor. I drank wine on the veranda and enjoyed the quiet and lovely neighborhood. Will never stay anywhere else and will stay longer next trip. Owners are the best!

It was beautiful and will definitely stay again. As for the breakfast, it was crapes, sausage and scrambled eggs. It took her 2 minutes to make it and it was cold. Not good at all. We had heard the food was wonderful but we must have gotten a different cook, because it was not good at all. The service was perfect, the room was wonderful along with the jetted tub, LOVED IT!! Way better than any hotel/motel..

We don’t typically stay in B&B’s, but this place might change our mind! It is such a cute place and an amazing location. We walked or took the metro everywhere! And this is a perfect neighborhood for trendy, tasty restaurants. We felt safe walking at night, and everything we needed was very close (bank, pharmacy, groceries). The B&B is beautifully furnished and to top it off, the bed is COMFY! The owners are super hospitable and our breakfast was truly delicious. The set up is perfect to come and go as you please, and they provide all the amenities you can think of. I would love to keep this place my own little secret, but they deserve the recognition!

We spent 2 nights for Jana's birthday and were treated like royalty. Breakfasts are scrumptious. Wonderful restaurants are just minutes from this location and entry to Hwy 59/69 is just a few jogs away. We went to Kingwood and it was only 27 minutes on Friday afternoon. But best of all are the precious people who own La Maison and the staff who service the guests. They genuinely care. Hospitality is their priority! Loved our stay!

Our stay was fabulous! The property is very clean with fresh flowers to accent the tasteful decor. Comfortable bed, plush towels, balcony, wine happy hour, and parking were all excellent. The innkeepers were personable and hospitable. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. We also appreciated easy access to the light rail to explore Houston.

What a delightful gem right in the midst of Houston! My husband and I stayed in 304 and the room was spacious with a large private bathroom boasting his/her sinks and a large walk-in shower. There is an elevator, but we took the stairs to the 2nd floor for ice and coffee. There's also coffee and tea in the kitchen on the 1st floor. There's two large sitting areas to enjoy that no-one else used, so we enjoyed some time there. The location is great - near tons of places to eat and things to do. There's a parking lot, so no need to park on the street. Don't pass up on the wonderful complimentary breakfast cooked by local Chef JuJu. We will be back for sure!

This is by far, one of the best places we have ever stayed. The hospitality was incredible, and the owners love for their property and guests shines through form the moment you arrive. The rooms are well furnished and quiet, and we loved the access to the veranda & the oversized jet tub. The breakfast was wonderful each morning. We worked from the conference room all day on Thursday and the attached bathroom and fridge/coffee close by were such a pleasant add-on. The location of the property is great for walking distance to all the restaurants and night life you could want to enjoy in mid-town. We will be back every time we stay in Houston!

So fortunate that we found this gem. If I could give more than 5 ⭐ I would! Owners are so welcoming and engaging, in fact we were usually racing to our restaurant reservations bc we were enjoying talking to them too much. :) Chef Willie Mae provided delicious breakfast daily and was just as welcoming. I can't imagine opting to stay anywhere else but here when visiting. Thanks for a much needed R&R staycation πŸ’•

Incredible stay visiting family down in Houston! The most welcoming hospitality I've ever experienced, deliciously prepared breakfast in the morning, and very cozy and clean rooms. Very nice conference room to work remotely from, and the "Urban High Tea" wine hour was a really nice touch! I won't book anywhere else when I'm in Houston!

Thoroughly enjoyed myself! The moment you walk in you can feel like the warmth and love! The decor, food, and ambiance were outstanding! One of my favorite parts- Urban High Tea! ❀️

5 as maximum rating is not enough to describe the fabulous welcoming and kindness of Sharon and Genora. My wife and I stayed there for 3 nights. This B&B is so comfortable and its European-like atmosphere made us feel a bit like home (France) whereas it is located within one of the biggest city of the US! This place is a must for anyone who stays in Houston. Strongly recommended! Again Thank you so much Sharon and Genora.

After a friend recommended this place a couple of years ago, we finally stayed and were so happy we did! The location was fabulous with access to everything you need, the balcony was peaceful and relaxing and the breakfast was delicious! Will definitely return.

What a great experience from start to finish. My husband and I really enjoyed our staycation. This location was in midtown and in walking distance from all kinds of restaurants, sports bars, & CVS. We loved that we could walk places. Easy check in with detailed instructions on how and what to do on arrival. Great experience! The breakfast was delicious :) The staff were kind and willing to assist. I felt secure that I could contact management directly if I had any problems, which I didn’t. We will definitely be going back!

I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely go again. I loved the breakfast and I am not even a breakfast person!! The space was really relaxing and I love the outside patio. (next time when the weather is cooler). Good location being downtown yet quiet.

What an amazing experience! So much WOW packed into a corner lot of Midtown Houston! Within walking distance of many restaurants and hotspots. The jetted tub was exactly what I wanted my wife to enjoy for our anniversary. The room was spacious and the decor was very warm and relaxing. Access to the veranda area makes your room feel twice the size! The private parking lot was easy to access and secure. The breakfast was wonderful and plenty. The owners and guests were welcoming and conversational. We will be back!!!

Our second stay at this delightful bed and breakfast! What a thoughtful, comfortable, lovely place it is: very quiet, very private, very pleasantly & attractively designed. And the breakfasts are delicious. It's a real pleasure to be able to step out of the room onto the veranda. Easy walk to restaurants, easy parking, close to museums and so much else. We'll definitely be back, again & again!

A beautiful hidden gem near downtown. Sharon and Genora are wonderful hosts for this exceptional bed & breakfast. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds and delicious breakfast await you at this hotel near downtown and close to the museum district. My husband and I have stayed here multiple times and have decided this is our home away from home in Houston! The "Urban High Tea" in the afternoon is the BEST.

La Maison was a great experience and I would recommend this Bed And Breakfast to anyone who's visiting Houston. Much better than staying in a hotel. The staff was excellent. My wife (Lynnetta) and I really enjoyed our stay!

We came to spend a weekend here for our wedding anniversary. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in the door. Very quiet, peaceful, clean, easy parking and all the breakfast meals were soooo delicious! We got a chance to meet and talk to the owners who are such sweet ladies. We hope to be able to stay here again soon and will recommend friends or family to stay here 😊

  • 5/5 Lynnetta W. 2 years ago on Google
The breakfast was a wonderful daily experience. One of the owners, Ms. Sharon, was there on a daily basis making our stay thoroughly enjoyable. Hats off to the the entire staff! I would say the only thing that needs to improve is a luggage cart to make less trips up & down the stairs. Other than that, they made us feel welcome in every space.
