We were looking for a nice park to enjoy the day at, and we found the perfect spot here. It is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Not to many people and it has spacious paths.

This is my favourite place to take long walks and appreciate nature. You’re sure to find squirrels and bunnies on your walk/run. Great for bikes and kids too.

Decent walking / jogging / cycling / rollerblading trail in the Energy Corridor neighborhood. Some yahoos on bikes go too fast and too near or ride side by side when passing, but don’t those yahoos exist everywhere? Keep an eye out for tree monsters cause they’re keeping an eye on you!

A vast hike and bike park, with many sections, along a 10 mile bayou (Highway 6 on the west end, Sam Houston on the east, I10 on the north, and Whittington Dr on the South). Parking is scattered on each end, so do clearly communicate a meeting point to avoid unnecessary wait and frustration. Easy hike/walk/jog/bike on most trails. Paved bike / jog trails that are friendly even on rainy days. Beautiful dirt trail along the Buffalo Bayou for a more peaceful hike. Well maintained. Go early to avoid the heat, or hike the dirt trails for more coverage and cooler temperature by the bayou.

Very nice hiking and biking trail. The creek runs along the trail witch is nice. If you decide walk the trail just look out for all those riding bikes.

Have been to this park before for walking the trails but today was the first day to come by for a picnic. The park wasn't busy and there were some picnic tables available. Luckily a gazebo was open and we had lunch there; it felt like our own private picnic area. There were restrooms nearby and they were clean. Instead of serious exercise, we just walked around a little inside the park and enjoyed watching critters and nature.

Known for its scenic beauty and recreational amenities, Terry Hershey Park stretches along Buffalo Bayou, offering a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city of Houston. Lush greenery, native vegetation, and quite a few well-maintained, paved and nature walking/hiking/running/jogging/biking trails (including both Out-and-Back like Mockingbird Trail and loops) characterize this natural haven.

Nice clean park/trail for running/walking/biking. I recently started biking here and the trail is about 6 miles each way; making it one of the better trails around Katy for daily workout activities. Could be a little busy in the afternoons but overall it’s a nice and quiet trail

Was able to kayak down Buffalo bayou with my son so that was fun. Launched at the Eldridge overpass (there's no real good point we had to just find the best spot) and exited at the Dairy Ashford area where we could. Only a couple of shallow spots but nothing we couldn't get past. Son loved it and we'll definitely do it again.

If you like challenges it's great for tackling the hills for walking or cycling. The view is beautiful with winding trails, trees and bridges.

Great park to take the kids fishing. Plenty of trash barrels along the way so please keep it clean. I go here to catch carp for bait, then use them to catch gar like this 5 footer. There's loads of catfish too. There's tons of trees so use heavy line.

I absolutely love this park with its picturesque setting and well-maintained long walking path. The lush greenery, serene atmosphere, and thoughtful landscaping make it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The path is ideal for a leisurely stroll or an invigorating jog, offering a refreshing experience for nature enthusiasts. The attention to detail in maintaining the park's cleanliness and the presence of benches along the way add to the overall charm. Whether you're seeking tranquility or an active outdoor session, this park has it all, earning it a solid 5-star rating in my book!

Nice trail , can walk & it’s your choice to be in woods or just be on road. P.S : I went towards woods where I saw Texas Coral snake which is second most venomous in the world - sharing pic

This is a beautiful park. It's surrounded by nature. The path gives you an opportunity to get steps in for health purposes or for leisure. Usually there are a lot of people there either walking or riding bikes, but it isn't crowded because it's a big park.

So many options of things to do, right on the heart of the Energy Corridor. hiking trails, mountain biking trails, canoe on the bayou, paved trails, kids’ playground and with easy access with many parking spots along the park.

I've been coming to this park since 10 years ago when I lived over there and this park has literally never failed me. The clean, fresh smelling beautiful landscape makes it a breeze to get a good work out in. Its hilly so it has some form of peaks for resistance. I've never had any trouble there. Only thing is that the bikers don't really yield to the walking patrons though the signs tell them to, other than that Give it a go!

A beautiful space to be able to workout...run, walk, jog, bike, rollerblade, or just intake the views. Throughout the park there are different pieces of outdoor workout equipment to utilize.. The trail connects to sooo much. I haven't explored it fully. Can't waitπŸ’ͺ🏾

Great park for MTB although I think the park needs more signs throughout the MTB trails

Been riding this park for so many years I would always recommend it. It has bathrooms throughout from dairy ashford to beltway. Also has some water fountains throughout. Plenty of safe miles to knock out without a car in sight.πŸ‘Œ If you want to ride your bike some safe miles this is the place!

I went walking with my DIL and grand dog here, and it was beautiful. I'd never seen the bayou and being there in early spring with so many plants and trees blooming was perfect. There were other adults, kids and pets enjoying the day - walkers, bicyclers, and some guy on a skateboard. There were benches along the way set off the trail enough to be out of the traffic, and plenty of trash bins. The park was very clean and well cared for. A nice place to exercise or just stroll and enjoy the setting.

Great trails. The trail map could use updating as it's easy to go on one trail and end up semi lost

Soooo this park is almost kind of ducked off and under the highway. The parking lot is literally under the beltway. Buttt.... it's a great park for exercising, taking a nice walk, bringing the kids out after a sugar rush, etc. There's a long trail for walking or bike riding. It's let and kid friendly and a pretty nice size playground with on site restrooms. You have to take the trail to get deeper in the park though. I like that even in busy days most people come do their own thing and then leave so there's a steady flow of people coming and going which helps when you want to find a parking spot!

Love walking here with my dogs! They have a pavement side and a dirt side. Lots of bikes and other joggers as well. Great park!

This is my go to park when I want to take a leisurely bike ride, it's well paved and I enjoy the hilly trail which adds a little excitement. It's right next to buffalo bayou so it's a very scenic.

Very nice mixed use park with plenty of nature sights. Pros: - well maintained concrete trail - very wide, easy to pass groups - lots of water stops and bathrooms including dog bowls and a shower head (not private!) - exercise equipment at certain spots - shady and cooler than most parks Cons: - no maps, very easy to run too far if you don't know any landmarks - heavy bike traffic, may be harder to walk the main trail with a kid or dog but there's plenty of lawn area along the trail.

The last 3 months there has been a big water leak that has been reported and no one responds. Only put red tape around the area. 311 has been called but they do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!! Something needs to be done about this situation.
