El Jardin Restaurant has been in the neighborhood for quite a long time. I remember it growing up and the food is awesome! After I got out of the Marine Corps I’ve still gone there to eat with the Family and the food & hospitality hasn’t changed. The best made crispy tripas …. Best tasting fajitas and more. Take your Family here, you won’t be disappointed. Best of the BEST!!!!

i heard about this restaurant from the owners daughter at Mamasitas. she told me it belongs to her grandfather. when i get a chance im going over to this restaurant soon and give a review. i finally went to this restaurant and was not dissapointed. the carne guisada or beef stew was sooo delicious with all the trimmings like refried beans with rice and vegetables and mmmmm good corn tortillas. the service was spetacular. the waiter who's been working there for 30 years, really took care of me and was very concerned about my needs and the rest of the crew there, beautiful people. the place has beautiful decorations and murals on the wall. For those who just want to have a drink or two, they also have a bar. beautiful bar.

We have been going to El Jardin for over 30 years because we love the atmosphere, service, food & drinks! We would like to thank you for your excellent service to my group yesterday. I know we were a little loud, but we all had a great time! Thank you so much! #LaFiebre #WivesBirthdayTradition

We came here for breakfast and it was DELICIOUS!! We came near 11am and they still were able to serve us some breakfast. The staff were all super courteous and helpful and friendly. The food was authentic Mexican food and reminded me of back home and when i was a kid. Loved everything about this place. The dining room was nice and spacious and clean. The prices are very reasonable. I think i just found my new favorite breakfast spot. We will come back.

Ordered the fajita parrillada and I've never had anything more bland. Everything tasted like nothing and it felt microwaved. The best part about it was the tortilla Chips which aren't even a part of the main course. Guacamole was bad and the rice also tasted like nothing. I've had better quality food at jack in the box.

Went there last night, with my boy. Beautiful and stunning decor, and an exceptionally clean restaurant. Food was delicious as well. I was high AF, so that may have been a contributing factor, but I will definitely be returning soon!

Best Texmex restaurant in greater Houston area. Superior thin crispy chips served with homemade salsa (request the salsa verde). We were lucky enough to be sarinated by a professional mariachi band playing traditional ballads.

The food and service here is always spot-on! A true gem of the Magnolia area. I had the enchiladas and a margarita. The serving sizes are big! I ate too many chips and ended up taking home 2 enchiladas.

The food is good. But the service could be better. No one ever came by to refill drinks or just to see if we needed anything. I had to get up and ask for to go plate and bill. But they were definitely quick to come get my money. Very disappointed.

I went for the first time and had a parrillada of beef super good! The waitress that waited on us made sure we had our drinks full and when our food arrived it was hot and delicious. She constantly made sure we were content with our food and had an amazing attitude. She had a great personinatlity and a smile that lite up the restaurant. We will make sure to ask for Cynthia the next time we visit.

Got Caldo de res to go and it was horrible I had to take it back and get my money back owner was rude! Was trying to argue with me over the phone inside the restaurant even followed me to my vehicle stating I took a bite of the corn so I must have liked it. Whole experience was ridiculous don’t waste your time nor money

My wife told me about El Jardin recently since then it has become our number one go to place to eat Mexican food. There are some big heavy hitters restaurants near by but who wants pay for the big ticket. Not me. Keep up the good work El Jardin, see you soon!

This is our first time in this place and we had a very very good experience. Prices are very reasonable and the food taste is delicious. I would recommend this place.

Honestly I don't recommend what I ate nor the menudo, it was really bad. The menudo only tasted like oregano hervido. My plate wasn't horrible but I still wouldn't eat it again. Some things on my plate were salty and the others were extremely bland. I would probably come back but try something else. I can't remember the name of my dish but it's the one in the pictures. It does come with a lot of food. Too bad none of it was tasty.

It had been a while since we went inasmuch we were there all the time but last March we didn't have a good time the food had changed somehow and my husband wasn't happy so we stopped going. Fast forward last weeks date night and I wanted margaritas and nachos so I convinced him to take me here. I'm so glad we did cause it was back on point. I mean you can't really go wrong with nachos right🤷‍♀️ we had such a great time. He got the fajitas and shrimp parrillada rice was nice and fluffy beans needed some salt but other than that it was delicious 😋 our waitress was on point with the service 👌 And the margaritas were ...well let's just say we will definitely be back. Yall gotta try the pineapple jalapeño margarita 🍹

The food use to be better with their old cook . The food now is decent now. Parking can be difficult if you go on a busy day and time. Their House margaritas are extremely weak. I don’t recommend it. The millennium margarita is pricey. Depending on who is making it, you can get your moneys worth. I would ask for Alex to make them if he’s there. Green salsa is better than the red salsa

Enchiladas Suizas are bomb!! Service good and cheese sauce served at lunch is tasty. Rice and beans good. 7/26/23 Took mom for her birthday the food and service are excellent. I had the pollo poblano ot grilled chicken with mushrooms, onions and poblano peppers so so good. It is not on tbe menu but ask and they will make it for you. The ladies are so nice and this place has been a family tradition for years and I hope for many more years to come. The beans are so good that I wanted to make bean tacos out of the leftover refried beans but I was too full.

It was really good. The manager Raul was really friendly and he actually made my order how I wanted. The salsa was really good. And the lemonade, as well as the faijita and chicken. Will definitely be back
