We
took
our
extended,
out-of-town
family
members
to
Sharky’s
Waterfront
Grill
after
hearing
how
good
it
was
from
a
couple
of
other
people
and
seeing
the,
at
that
time,
4.2
star
rating
the
restaurant
had.
We
arrived
around
2pm
on
a
Saturday
with
a
party
of
seven.
More
than
half
of
the
inside
dining
tables
were
empty
but
we
were
still
told,
by
a
less-than-friendly
hostess,
that
there
would
be
a
15
minute
wait
to
have
our
table
ready.
25
minutes
later
we
were
finally
seated.
Our
waiter
took
our
drink
order
within
the
first
5
minutes
and
had
our
drinks,
mostly
consisting
of
water
and
tea,
at
our
table
within
another
5
minutes.
We
were
asked
if
we
wanted
to
start
with
any
appetizers.
We
settled
on
two;
the
calamari
and
the
gator.
The
only
problem
we
had
with
the
appetizers
was
that
it
took
45
minutes
to
get
them
after
ordering.
The
waiter
took
our
meal
order
about
10
minutes
after
taking
the
appetizer
order
and
told
us
on
more
than
one
occasion
that
he
would
check
on
the
appetizers
for
us,
but
he
never
gave
an
update
or
explanation
as
to
why
it
was
taking
so
long.
Our
meals
took
between
45-50
minutes
to
be
brought
to
us.
Nobody
ordered
anything
crazy;
a
couple
of
salads,
a
burger,
and
a
couple
of
seafood
plates.
The
calamari,
gator,
shrimp,
salad,
burger,
and
fries
all
tasted
decent
enough.
One
family
member
ordered
the
catfish
and
wasn’t
able
to
get
past
a
few
bites
claiming
it
was
disgusting
and
tasted
muddy.
Someone
in
the
party
also
claimed
the
oysters
were
overcooked
and
rubbery.
We
might
be
willing
to
try
the
place
again
in
a
year
or
so,
but
we
will
not
be
bringing
friends
or
family.
It
was
very
embarrassing
that
a
restaurant
that’s
so
highly
rated
would
keep
customers
waiting
for
their
appetizers
and
meals
for
almost
an
hour
when
they
aren’t
that
busy.
