We have had a great time on the waterfront. The food was awesome, fresh, and hot. Our waiter Daniel W was awesome and he know the menu. Thank Daniel W!

Bad experience from the moment we got there. Waited 5 minutes for a hostess to come up front. Put our name in and was told it would be a 5-10 minute wait which was fine. 27 minutes later we were seated. Our waitress was very nice and pretty quick (the only positive of this experience). We order 2 drinks off the menu. Waitress came back and we ordered 1 appetizer. The appetizer came out 10 minutes later and still no drinks (been roughly 20 minutes now). Ate our appetizer and still no drinks. The restaurant had several open tables, and there was 6 people at the bar that seats probably 20 people. The bar tender was just not paying attention at all. She was watching TV and drinking from her pink cup. Got our check with the drinks on it (so clearly 30 minutes went by and the bar tender didn’t care). Our waitress removed the drinks, we paid for the app and left. Unfortunately we won’t be back here anytime soon, and I would advise other the same. Seems like lack of management here.

Amazing experience here! The ambience was very enjoyable, the lake views were stunning, and the food was the cherry on top! Our server, Raymon, was very attentive and even gave us a complimentary appetizer when we told him it was our first time dining! We went home and told family about our experience because it was just that good! Highly recommend!!! 10/10

We were pleasantly surprised with the ambience and our meal at Sharky’s. We decided to sit outside overlooking Lake Houston on a beautiful 85 degree day, it was really nice. Plus our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu.

Came in 45 minutes before closing. Sat at the bar. Bartender Alex was very friendly and I never felt rushed. I had the sand bar chicken. Best chicken breast I have ate in a very long time. Highly recommend.

Sharky's has a great patio happy hour vibe. We came early @2pm and was able to enjoy the patio before the crowd came. Our waitress Robyn was absolutely great. She was professional and attentive. And Tray wat the bar was great he was personable and engaging. This was a great happy hour experience 😊

What a fantastic place in the water. Indoor or out this is a great place for food , drinks and fun! Love the Fish and Chips but have loved everything I have ordered. Margaritas are the bomb!

Disappointed. Was really looking forward to this place. Food was below average. Very bland. Everyone at our table felt the same way. No seasoning. I can make that at home if I want. Really expected much better food. The atmosphere is great. Great decor and the outside seating is amazing next to the water. Couldn’t ask for anything better there. Won’t be returning though.

I really loved the welcoming atmosphere coming into sharkys, after a couple of floods they really tried to renovate the place. All the staff was very kind and attentive. We went on a weekday at night so it wasn't fairly busy, but I believe a weekend would be more booked. The food was fairly good although ill have to say they could have used a different plating for the pasta dishes. The sauce on the the blackend fettuccine was really all over the place and if they ask if you want tomatoes in the pasta just opt out of it. These tomatoes are just sliced tomatoes, not roasted cherry tomatoes.

Family fun, date night, impressing folks from out of town? Sharky's atmosphere is adaptable for all three. It sits on the lake and has cooling outside for the summer. The amazing gulf seafood was delicious and decently sized portions. I got the shrimp platter. Lastly, the service was top notch.

We took our extended, out-of-town family members to Sharky’s Waterfront Grill after hearing how good it was from a couple of other people and seeing the, at that time, 4.2 star rating the restaurant had. We arrived around 2pm on a Saturday with a party of seven. More than half of the inside dining tables were empty but we were still told, by a less-than-friendly hostess, that there would be a 15 minute wait to have our table ready. 25 minutes later we were finally seated. Our waiter took our drink order within the first 5 minutes and had our drinks, mostly consisting of water and tea, at our table within another 5 minutes. We were asked if we wanted to start with any appetizers. We settled on two; the calamari and the gator. The only problem we had with the appetizers was that it took 45 minutes to get them after ordering. The waiter took our meal order about 10 minutes after taking the appetizer order and told us on more than one occasion that he would check on the appetizers for us, but he never gave an update or explanation as to why it was taking so long. Our meals took between 45-50 minutes to be brought to us. Nobody ordered anything crazy; a couple of salads, a burger, and a couple of seafood plates. The calamari, gator, shrimp, salad, burger, and fries all tasted decent enough. One family member ordered the catfish and wasn’t able to get past a few bites claiming it was disgusting and tasted muddy. Someone in the party also claimed the oysters were overcooked and rubbery. We might be willing to try the place again in a year or so, but we will not be bringing friends or family. It was very embarrassing that a restaurant that’s so highly rated would keep customers waiting for their appetizers and meals for almost an hour when they aren’t that busy.

A busy Saturday night resulted in a 20 minute wait but it was worth it. We sat outside on the patio and we were well tended to by a hardworking waitress. The menu is extensive and the beer drinks menu is good. Food was very hot well cooked and presented. Well worth the wait.

The waitstaff was wonderful. She truly brightened our day. The food was good, but it needed more seasoning. The fried catfish was a little under cooked for my taste, which was perfect for my husbands taste. We ordered a sample platter with the shrimp fondue in it. Everything on the plate was delicious and our favorite part of the meal (especially the shrimp fondue). The burger was juicy and had a good bacon flavor. The salad was so big I brought it home and have not eaten it yet... bit did taste the vinaigrette, and it had a really good raspberry flavor. I did, however, feel the price was a little high.

I rarely take the time to write negative reviews, but I'm saddened that this once great restaurant has taken a nosedive. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience at Sharky's Waterfront Grill. The service was slow, the food was not good, and the prices were high. I would not recommend this restaurant until they refocus on the customer experience. Here are some specific details about my experience: Our server had a tendency to disappear. After taking my order, he returned 18 minutes later to clarify the order. I sent it back and got the exact same plate back. I finally just gave up and ate it. The French fries were cold and soggy. The sliders were cold and inedible. The meat was dry and overcooked. The buns were stale. It took another 20 minutes for our server to come back and pick up our credit card. I truly hope this place returns to providing a dining experience that Kingwood deserves.

I wish I could give zero stars but the cooks deserve at least one for the food. But the service was absolutely horrible. Our waitress(a short girl with curly blonde hair) completely forgot about us after giving us our food and never came back. We had to go to the front to pay and even then we had to wait until I had to practically beg someone to let us pay so we can leave the horrid building. Would not recommend.

we walked in and it only took a couple minutes on a Friday night. service was fast, place was clean, server was friendly and knowledgeable, we enjoyed the view. They have all types of seafood. gumbo, pasta, burgers, fried seafood, salads. Very broad menu bound to captivate anyone.

Really nice waterfront restaurant with a chill vibe. Outdoor seating is great if you don't sit where the sun is beaming down on you! Service is awesome, staff is very friendly! Gets busy on the weekend so go early to avoid a long wait.

I liked the tilapia and vegetables and rice platter. The chicken tenders were chewy. Fried pickles were average. Waited awhile for our waitress to ask what we wanted to drink and eat after being seated. The wait time to be seated was only like 10 minutes though. The location is amazing it’s right on the waterfront and has a beautiful lake and dock to walk down and a green area for free. I would come back again! They have happy hour specials too. Nice outdoor seated area with semi enclosed sides. Straws have Sharky logo on them super cute!

We love coming to Sharky's for the atmosphere of dining at the lake. The service is usually excellent and the food to match, however, this last trip was a bit of a miss. The waitress was good, but I think she had too many tables. The food was an opportunity though, the calamari appetizer was the deep fried equivalent of the bottom of a frozen bag, tiny over cooked pieces of breading, some calamari, and served warm, not hot. The fried okras were excellent! The lunch portion shrimp platter was mostly fries, and the 7 shrimp pieces so tiny, again served warm, more leaning towards cold, we had 2 orders, both in the same condition. The remaining 3 lunch menu orders were served hot and plentiful. Not sure if the kitchen timing was off between the meals and I don't understand the quantity issue, the meals were comparably priced at $14 to $15 each.

We have a local group that meets up for lunch out once a month and this month we were at Sharky's. The food was great and we sat out on the patio and enjoyed the almost spring like weather. I highly recommend the Hush Puppies, Fish and Chips Sandwich, Baja Shrimp Tacos and the Salmon Wrap. All were very good and our server did a great job at keeping glasses filled, food served promptly and handling a lot of separate checks.

They didn’t ask if we wanted to sit inside or out, they sat us out with all bugs flying around us and biting us. The crawfish etoufee is so flavorless. And the crawfish is dry - If it’s outta season don’t serve it. Serve shrimp. There was no sauce and everything was bland with absolutely no flavor. We also ordered the shrimp tacos. At first they served fish then they finally served us the shrimp tacos. When they served the shrimp tacos it was missing all the ingredients and was only served with cheese. The waiter was cool. Just never coming back.
