First time here and we were disappointed. The service was pretty good our waitress was always nice and attentive. The food on the other hand lacked certain flavor and also good portion on plate. The portion of food we received didn't match the price we pay for it and also there is additional charge for juice refills during breakfast. We won't be coming back to this establishment for breakfast.

Stop here for the Tues-date with the wifie... Love the place, clean and not too busy. Daisy was fantastic, and very accommodating. As they had our favorite area closed because of staff shortage, she had no hesitation on accommodating us. Coffee here is a must have, so are the eggs... And the service is the cherry on top.

We sat down, got our drinks and the waitress came back to take our orders. The wife started to order her and the 3 kids French toast, the waitress interrupted her and said they are out of French toast. Why weren't we told of this when we were sat???? It's Sunday morning at 9am. Unforgivable, we would have gone to IHOP but we already were drinking the milk, OJ and Dr.Pepper we ordered. Second, I stood in a 5 person deep line to pay for over 10 minutes. Why would you only have 1 cashier at 930am on a sunday. The store merchandise was a mess, maybe 75% of the bottles soda was in the wrong place.

Food is soooo good the atmosphere is very nice and the scents from the candles are amazing. Has a very country like atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and the wait time was not bad at all.

This visit wasn't very great, usually the food is on point but this day they couldn't even cook an over medium egg. But on the bright side they do have a great general store that sells all kinds of goodies. I will return here because I know that 1 bad day don't make a place bad. So if your looking for a home.cooked meal and wanna do.some browsing this place is a good choice.

I am not to sure if I walked in after rush hour but it was 2:05pm . The tables were messy and it was dead . There was no host . I waited for 15 mins to get seated. The server was new didn’t get refill on drinks and the serve forgot to mention that there were some items already sold out before placing my order . No strawberry jam, no hashbrowns. In order fired chicken and okra and mash potatoes. I got Mac and cheese and mash potatoes. My chicken was under cook . Saw pink inside and my mash potatoes was hard as heck . It felt like it was mash potatoes from the am .

Great Service. Low quality food even after waiting a year to see if they improved. Still have same food and same semi-clean silverware and dishes. I'll wait another year before experimenting again. In the past it was my favorite Restaurant. Sad the way it has become these days. Where's the Pride? Maybe it's just this location? I will say their prices are competitive and reasonable. I do hope to give them Five Stars next time. Since I have over 60,000 followers, maybe some of you can help straighten this out and we'll have a Fantastic Restaurant once again.

The girl with the rhinestones on her eyes on Thursday night that was our waitress was absolutely terrible! She had 3 tables but didn’t put in any of our orders obviously as other tables who were sat way after us got their food. It’s now 9pm I have to work at 6am, showed up at 7:30pm and leaving with an empty stomach! we waited over 40 minutes and NEVER received our food meanwhile our toddler was starving and ready for bed. We had to get up and leave so we could get fast food and go home. We drove 20 minutes because we wanted to get Cracker Barrel. Returned the merchandise we bought before hand too not giving any money to this location.

I ordered curbside for Thanksgiving Day for me and my son. I ordered hours in advance for 5:30. I get there at 5:25 and check in online just like the email said. 30 minutes later I have not received my food. I tried calling and it rings and rings for over 5 minutes and no one answers. I finally have to wake up my 3-year-old and drag him inside just to be told they aren't doing curbside. There were even signs outside that pointed to an area of the parking lot for curbside. They aren't normally there so it had to have been especially for Thanksgiving. The food had been sitting there and is now cold. I know for a fact there are at least two other people out there waiting for food. I then get home and find out they didn't put my pumpkin pie in there. They really dropped the ball and I will never be going back to that location.

We walked in at 738 and there was a 30 min wait . No big deal got seated pretty fast, mind you it is busy! Took 25 mins to make sweet tea and took over a hour for food. My daughter food wasn’t right but she was so hungry she didn’t complain. Then my husbands food was missing his biscuit’s and gravy and hash browns, so that took another 20 mins. I didn’t complain to the manager but I should have. The girl was named Victoria and super sweet, just got lots of stuff incorrect and never said anything to make it better. We love eating there and my kids love the food as well but when I pay 101.24 with a tip I should have left out of there happy. They need to retrain the employees or the cooks to figure out a different routine to make the guest happy. Disappointed last night when leaving at 10pm from there

I ordered curbside and was given the time of 2:29pm for the order to be ready. I'm there at 2:38pm and advised them of my arrival...by 2:45pm I'm calling for a status check. The person told me it was being packaged, i wait and wait...still no food so I go inside at 2:51pm and my food is just sitting there on the shelf! I'm like, my food is ready and no one brought it out!? The guy jusr hands me my bag like everything was okay! On top of that, I asked for silverware and napkins...none was included in the bag although its clearly checked off that someone did a quality check on my order! We were not eating at home so we definitely needed silverware! I gave it three stars because at least the food was good.

If I could put no stars then I definitely would. For starters the biscuits were hard as hocky pucks. NONE of our food had any seasoning at all. My husband had the hamburger steak and it tasted like a plain hamburger patty. I had the chicken and dumplings which was also bland. My salad looked like someone had cut a head of lettuce into about 6 pieces and threw it in a bowl. The photo I took is after I had already cut it up some. Needless to say, we will not be back. I remember why it's been a long time since we've been to this location now.

I don't care for any of the food here & the servers are rude. I tried the bowl of turnip greens & they smelled like a men's room urinal every time I put the spoon up to my mouth to take a bite. I have yet to eat something here that tastes good, besides the corn bread. UPDATE: CB was kind enough to email me a gift card to give them another chance. This time I got the Chicken & Dumplings. A little bland but ok. Food was mostly edible today however, the service could have been better. Our waitress was not very friendly. We didn't get napkins, no refills, our biscuits were rock hard. Last time my parents went, the young man literally tossed the bread basket on the table.

Ordered something different than my usual pancake, bacon and egg. The steak hashbrown casserole was good, with fried crispy onions on top. Their coffee could have been stronger but it's okay. Our server was very polite and attentive, I think her name is Michelle. The food came quick, being a busy Saturday morning. Always enjoy eating here, the atmosphere and old decors. The bonus is the country store! Love to browse and even though I don't have plan on buying anything, I ended up buying something because they're so cute. Love the restaurant and the store!

We used to like Cracker Barrel. Their food used to be tasty and delicious. What a change their food taste like hospital food now. What happened to their delicious food that they normally serve. I am not sure if we have to go back there again. I thought that was a waste of time going to that place .

Absolutely delicious. The best rainbow trout that I've ever had. Everything was perfect. I had quit going to CB a long time ago, due to quality decreased. Either they improved greatly as a company, or at least this location is perfect. I'll definitely return to this location.

Family loves going for breakfast here. Great pancakes and syrup. Always fluffy. Cozy atmosphere and good service. Son loves the French Toast. Free Biscuits are always yummy. My only complaint is I never know how they decide when they give the free biscuits because it's not all the time.

We used to eat at Cracker Barrel quite often 25 yrs ago. Wow, has it changed: the extended menu now includes an array of alcoholic beverages and $5 take home plates. My husband ordered the country ham, grits and hash brown casserole. He trimmed a lot of fat off the ham but was otherwise very happy with his meal. I had the rainbow trout, greens & hashbrown casserole. The fish was very good, though the portion was small. The hashbrown casserole wasn't as hot or flavorful as I'd remembered. It felt like we caught the restaurant at an off time, as it took a while to be seated, and we had to wait for water refills. Tables near us took a long time to get cleared as well. Almost all the staff looked very young, so perhaps there's been a recent turnover & they are in training. We paid with egift cards, which took a while. The young cashier learned the process along with us and remained both patient & pleasant. We plan to return.

Okay so I assumed this location was busy on Sun afternoons being that I called and was put on hold for so long that I had time to drive to the restaurant, place my order and eat the food! Not to mention that when I arrived to the restaurant the guy in the front didn't bother to greet me or assist me until I interrupted his conversation. I think his name was Brandon... either way doesn't seem like he is the best fit for the front counter main entrance. All in all my food was great as expected and the young ladies who helped me during my visit were very delightful and practically the only reason I didn't leave the entire review with 1 star.

Their pancakes are unquestionably the best. The loaded tots are absolutely delicious. Try it with ketchup for an extra yum. It's the service that's lacking. The Richey location really needs to step up their customer service. I waited long periods of time to be seated despite plenty of seating behind available. Once seated the wait continued as the manager had to take my order drink and food for water order. They weren't short staffed because I saw servers hanging out in the kitchen instead of working the dining room. The whole menu isn't available such as the biscuit breakfast. I was told to just get the grandpa's breakfast and make my own biscuit breakfast 🤔. I think the food is delicious but the service leaves a lot to be desired.

I'm not going to talk about the food but I do want to shout out Reynold, our server, as well as the manager. Our server can only be described as the model of service that I was brought up with by my parents. He could easily be making much money at a higher end steakhouse/fine dining establishment downtown or on Westhiemer. Old school polite service, was prompt (they weren't busy the night we were there) and anticipated needs. Excellent service almost as good as the sawmill gravy! The manager was polite even when juggling physical customers and the phones. They were slammed as we left, and she managed to not be impolite to me in the slightest. Keep up the good work!
