The Conservancy isn't living up to its promise to preserve the park. They're spending millions of dollars for a flashy bridge while currently destroying 30 year old natural trails! These trails have brought endless joy to so many and it's a crime that they're ruining them. If they can't save and preserve these trails, maybe someone else should be doing it.

The special arbooretum Halloween event was delightful for the kids. Parking was a nightmare. Petting zoo, Halloween walk and the pony ride were enjoyable.

This was the Grand Opening of Kinder Land Bridge and Cyvia & Melvyn Wolff Priarie. This was a fun, exciting, and educational event! A scavenger hunt was setup and various locations in the park totally 13 tents.

This Houston's largest running park (and maybe park period). I seldom visit due to the distance away from home. But I do enjoy the yearly Brunch Run that allows me to take a small part of the parks beauty. It is well kept, fresh air, peaceful and lots of space to run.

The Picnic road is closed for construction so in entrance to the trails is behind the Runners Center off the gravel trail, and all trails basically loop back onto the purple trail to exit onto the Picnic Loop. Didn't know before I went but still an enjoyable experience.

Great for Mountain Biking Park full of Nature, although the trails are very rooty.

VERY DISAPPOINTING to pay for parking at Memorial Park golf course. The conservancy has implemented paid parking at the golf course parking lot for people who use the golf course and people who use the privately owned Beck's restaurant at the course. I have played golf at nearly every course in the Houston area. There are NO OTHER GOLF COURSES that charge for parking. The conservancy manages all of Memorial Park EXEPT THE GOLF COURSE. Why do they enforce paid parking for golfers? Most likely because people who use the jogging trails, baseball field, playground, etc., currently park in the same lot. This seems unavoidable so they took the easy route and decided to charge parking fees for the golfers. The conservancy should develop a system for validating the parking fees for golfers and Beck customers. This system would also need to prevent receiving a parking ticket for these same customers who would have validated parking.

A jewel of our city. I love memorial park. The hiking trails, bike trails, nature center, community golf course, pool, playground, tennis and soccer ... it’s all here. Plus they are expanding!!!

$6M renovation to Memorial Park to tear down trees, install fencing to block out remaining trees, add paid parking that no one uses, and pave over remaining greenspace to ensure the surrounding park floods all the time. Great job guys
