This place is brand spanking new! Lots of cute wall decals and modern decor. The aesthetic is hipster if there ever was a good use for that word. Nice bright, airy atmosphere. I got an almond milk cappuccino which was delicious. I’ll give a pass to the staff who are still in training, they’ll figure out that cash register eventually! Had to park with my hazard lights on right outside the door because the shared parking lot was full. You may have to opt for street parking but this little place is worth checking out!

Stopped n for an Americano...my go to Cup. It’s nice to have variety n the hood. The espresso beans were flavorful and thankfully had a unique roast flavor to enjoy when so many places seem to have such similar beans. The joint is very Euro bright and fresh which is well suited to the expansive choices in tea leaves they have to offer. Admittedly, if I’m looking to hunker down for a nice hot cup of joe I prefer a warmer, comfy corner to lounge n, but I realize that’s not everyone’s cup o’ tea. Will b back for sure.

Coffee was ok. Not great in my opinion but not good. The tacos were very good and delicious though. When I went apparently they were a new addition to the menu. Tortillas on them were buttery and great just how a breakfast tacos should be. Staff was all friendly and there was a good amount of parking available.

Coffee was good. Seating was okay. I wish the bar stool table was a little taller so it could also be used as a standing table. Enough outlets but not an abundance. Plenty of parking outside. Good news is that it doesn't seem to be overrun with people working so you can easily find a table to work at. There's nice outside seating as well for chatting with a friend or taking a quick call. Bathrooms were clean. Also, I feel like the drink was bigger than I receive at other shops, which is a huge plus. It was overall a good experience. Small downside is that they do close on the earlier side. By the end, they were playing awesome Spanish music classics which I was a big fan of, haha! (Cumbia's mostly).

They have a nice environment for customers who are looking for a silent and comfortable place to chill, study, work, or meet friends... They also have a great "CA PHE SUA DA" which is really close to the real Vietnamese style. The staff is also friendly and nice. We had a satisfactory time here after the first visit. Great job.

Been here a handful of times, since moving to the area. My boyfriend and I instantly became fan of the coffee shop. But after today’s experience, we felt discriminated for bringing our pet. Not only was the worker (guy) approach the situation rudely by asking us to leave to go outside although our puppy was being held and harnessed. Their pet friendly statement is far from being friendly and broad. I agree we should respect all protocols of any establishment but when assessing the customer about the situation a “friendly reminder” for the next visit is far more appropriate than having to ask them to leave in order to place a to go order. How can you say no to this face.

I tried this place in search for a cozy spot that has light food/snacks, beverages, and a restroom available, to do some focused studying. Below is my detailed experience: Not much and very small parking spaces. I was nervous as I watched different people drive in reckless and park too close next to other vehicles. Definitely a risk of getting your car dinged by careless individuals. This establishment lacked a full staff the day I visited, however, it was not extremely busy in the afternoon during the weekday. There was only one worker and my first impression was that he was not customer friendly, because I was not greeted as I walked through the door, even though I smiled and direct eye contact was made. Nor was I greeted once I was next in line to have my order taken. Sadly, I’m pretty used to poor customer service at many Houston restaurants, and know it’s an issue of poor management and lack of training to develop good to excellent customer service skills. Once I started asking questions though, the barista opened up a little and demonstrated kindness. Furthermore, your order is not taken until the previous order has been completed. When it is your turn, expect at least ten to fifteen minutes for your order to be complete. This wasn’t a big issue for me, but I wanted to note that for those who may be on a tight schedule and are looking for quicker-paced servicing. The food is very flavorful (the barista informed that they receive deliveries from some place called Cake and Bake). I ordered the almond croissant and chicken and egg quiche. However, the beverage was not flavorful (I had the hot chocolate). If I visit again, I will specify to use almond milk and ask if there are any syrups available to enhance the flavor. Regarding the ambience, the café is smaller than what I perceived originally from the photos online. It wasn’t that many people and pretty quiet - no obnoxious loud conversations. Out of the three tables available, only two are closest to the outlets, but if you have an extremely long charger, it should reach the third table. There is a window section with bar stools, which may become uncomfortable for some after sitting for a long period working or studying. There are also a few outdoor tables and chairs, and an indoor restroom. Lastly, this café closes at 4:30 PM, which is really early to me. It’s an okay café to grab a coffee, bite to eat, and sit with friends. However, this is not one of the best cafés to read or study, unless you don’t mind loud music. The overall playlist was annoying (I had to put on headphones and play focus music).

Cute coffee shop kinda tucked away. I love the windows. The drinks standard and pastries are decent. The staff can be rude though. Like ignore you when you’re standing at the counter or talking to their coworkers while your trying to order. It’s happened on two separate occasions. I’m not running back to visit again for that reason.

Absolutely love coming here. Not only do you get great coffee, but you learn so much. I tend to get my coffee when Mikey is behind bar and she never misses. Always on point with the recommendations, I feel as though she always has something new up her sleeve. She also takes her time when answering questions, making sure to go into detail and all. Y’all should definitely check this place out. It’s one of those hidden gems in Houston. They deserve all the praise and support.

Coffee itself was delightful, missing a star because extremely slow and inattentive service. Had remind barista 3 times I got a kolache 1. That I ordered it, 2. Her to make it 3. Her to give it to me. It would have made sense if the shop was super busy - it wasn’t. I will say the food and coffee is good but this is not a place to go if you’re in a rush of any sort

With every pour and steep, the owner's passion becomes evident, turning simple beverages into crafted experiences. The ambiance is imbued with friendliness, making patrons feel at home. Cute atmosphere. Grey, white and yellow accents with minimalist clean feel. Bathrooms clean. Ordered to coffees to go and a Crossaint. I was offered a taste of the drip- nice touch. I was asked to pay and of course tip. I sat down to wait for my order. 2 other folks who came in after me got their orders. When I went up to bar to inquire about my order- the barista told me that there were a lot of online orders even though the two customers after me ordered at the bar. Hmmm. Then my latte and drip were ready, I had to ask for the pastry. She then proceed to put it in the microwave- great chewy gummy Crossaint for $6. Not a fan. Coffee is good- hit of chocolate. There is a bitterness to the blend and not as smooth as I like. Won’t return.

Called once, and the person who answered hung up on me. Called back right away, and they didn't answer at all. Called back a third time, and they answered and were very rude and didn't know answers to basic questions. Will try calling a manager tomorrow sometime. Edit: It's funny you don't have time to come to the phone, but you have time to reply with an excuse as to why you don't have properly trained staff.

This establishment is definitely a must visit! How delicious the drinks are combined with the atmosphere makes this place a must try, not to mention how kind and sweet the baristas are. The Yellow Cup is my personal favorite coffee shop in Houston and I’ll gladly continue to swing on by!

y’all when I tell you y’all need to check this coffee shop out— CHECK IT OUT! Hidden away at the end of a shopping strip this cafe offers so many delicious goodies. Along with dairy free options, savory goodies (they have a breakfast danish 🤤,) and so much more. The baristas are always so incredibly sweet and accommodating. Will definitely be returning.

The best spot in the area for unique and delicious coffees and teas. Whether you have a tried and true order or you want to try something you’ve never tasted before, this is the spot. Really chic little spot to pop in or hang out and enjoy your refreshments with friends. They have options for lots of tastes and dietary needs too.

Totally amazing place for a stop after a run at memorial park. They even serve taco deli breakfast tacos. I ordered a decaf latte, egg taco and almond croissant. My daughter ordered the mint tea. All were served with class like your at a high end coffee shop. They’ve got out door seating and games to play while enjoying your coffee. I truly enjoyed my breakfast after an intense run with my daughter!

I absolutely love this coffee shop! It’s super close to my home, the atmosphere is welcoming and there’s ample parking! I never have any trouble finding a spot to tuck into to read, study, or just relax while I sip and enjoy their delicious offerings!

Wait time is way too long here for a coffee. They also don’t go in order of who ordered coffees. I waited over 20 minutes because they kept making customers orders who came in after me. When I asked they said it was because they have a cold brew when they called out “Carmel latte” for the customer. Terrible service that I don’t recommend. Really sad they expect a tip at check out but can’t even make coffees correctly

Absolutely love the yellow cup! 😁😁 My husband and I tried this place recently .. oh my gosh. So good. The customer service was great! Which honestly is rare to see these days. 🙄 The barista taking our order was funny, bubbly and helpful. She recommended the guru and prima latte. So delicious. Will definitely be back!!! 😋

Great customer service. The atmosphere is a vibe. The croissants are gigantic, flaky and delicious. I didn’t get to try my original drink that ordered however, I did have the drip coffee. It is divine. Very smooth.

Second time to visit. Ordered milk drinks both times. The espresso base for the drinks seemed like good quality, but the milk was steamed improperly both times, even though I made specific requests about how I wanted it. On my first visit, I could see that they were over-steaming the milk so when I ordered I asked them not to make my drinks too hot. They still made my drinks so hot that the milk tasted scalded. I’m guessing the temperature was around 165 degrees. Second visit I emphasized to not make the drinks too hot and specifically requested around 130 degrees. Two minutes later when they started to make my drinks I half heard the barista tell the other barista something about the temperature of my drinks. To be sure the message was conveyed properly, I told the other barista I don’t want the drinks too hot. Each barista made one of my drinks. The first barista made a tepid drink that wasn’t hot enough (I’m guessing around 115 degrees) and the second barista made it too hot (I’m guessing around 155 degrees which is not quite scalded, but still not ideal). I realize that most customers want their drinks made with scalded milk because that’s what they’re used to from Starbucks, but the baristas should know how to steam to the proper temperature when it’s requested. Aside from that, the place is nice inside. Muffins are delicious. Quiche is a little too salty, but otherwise very good.

The ambiance is cute and it looks like a nice place to work. I got an iced oat milk matcha latte and it tasted like iced oat milk with a slight aftertaste of matcha - the la croix of matcha lattes.

Really enjoyed this more quiet and peaceful environment to study than other coffee shops I been to, it was good for me when library was closed. I had their Matcha 🍵 Latte and was really good. Wonderful service and vibe

Let me start by saying that the staff was so nice and knowledgeable about the menu. The coffee was also decent, just didn’t have the best first impression due to the following reasons. 1) we asked for our drinks to be made “for here” when we ordered and specifically requested real mugs and this was acknowledged by the barista. Despite this, our drinks were still served in to-go cups. What I enjoy most about trying a new coffee shop is sitting and having a conversation with someone while enjoying my beverage from a real mug. Sadly, I didn’t not get to enjoy this experience. 2) they had a variety of pastries that were on display including muffins, croissants, scones, etc. I love a good blueberry muffin so I ordered that and then found my seat while waiting on my drink. Barista calls me back up to the counter to inform me that they don’t have any more blueberry muffins despite it being on display. I told her it was no problem and she offered to replace it with a cranberry muffin which was also on display. I was then informed by another employee that they were also out of this so I settled for a scone which tasted old. In hindsight, I should have just asked for a taco as this is what my husband ordered and said it was good (the tacos are from tacos-a-go-go.) With so many other good coffee shops in our area, it is very difficult to return somewhere that left a bad first impression.

The staff and service is great. Coffee was good. A real plus is the chill background music which allows for quiet, uninterrupted conversation.

Mediocre. The staff was not very friendly or welcoming, and the cafe was also pretty much empty on a Sunday. It’s nice that they have a covered patio, but the patio is depressing and overlooks a parking lot. Coffee was okay, but they did not have any vegan or gluten-free food options.

Nice cozy coffee shop to study, work, or just hangout! The customer service is great, there’s plenty of parking out front, and the space is neat and clean. I didn’t like the drink I got on my first visit, but I’m sure they have a good matcha latte that I’ll have to try next time 😆
