We found this place on a weekend trip to Houston and ate here three times! Absolutely the best food and the lentil soup is extraordinary! Service was fantastic, very reasonably priced for the amount of food. The meal starts with fresh bread and just gets better from there. I highly recommend!!!

We were excited to find this cute little spot as we drove through the streets of Houston. We got there just before the place was closing and had five minutes to place our order. The server was nice and we were quick. Appreciated the bread and oil, as well as the Turkish tea which was my favourite. We got the mixed platter for two and honestly was not impressed by it. It was dry and the rice seemed the easy cook rice. We had been driving all day so we were definitely hungry!! But the meats could have been more flavoured and accompanied with some sort of sauce or something so that it was not so dry overall. I would be willing to give this another shot and not come so close to when they are closing for an authentic experience.

I eat a lot of Mediterranean food. I’ve eaten lamb all over the world. The Koefta with cheese was freaking phenomenal. The lamb was so tender we could easily cut it with a fork. The lamb pizza was great, as well. This place just leaped into my top 3 Mediterranean restaurants and Top 50 restaurants for me in the Greater Houston area. If they had garlic sauce, it would push it over the top.

My daughter has told us often about her love of this Turkish restaurant. Of course we had to try it. I highly recommend it as you may have noticed from the 5 stars. A heavy bread is served with a well balanced dipping sauce; nicely matched. We ordered the Pasha Meze Platter which is a variety of what I assume are their appetizer favorites. Each item is distinctive and flavorful. Diners should be aware that some of the items, in my experience, are not the same as the "storefront" Mediterranean dishes you may be used to. Set that idea aside and enjoy what Pasha has prepared for you. Bizarrely, no one at our table was a fan of the Babaganush so my expectations were low. It is hard to describe how wrong my family is. Babaganush is creamy and delicious with what I can only describe as a slightly smoky flavor. I will have this again. My daughter is a vegetarian and ordered her favorite, the Menemen. I had a bite of her sautéed tomato, onion, bell pepper, feta and scrambled eggs. Wonderful flavors and I see why it is her go-to. My wife and I shared the Pasha Mixed Grill Platter. It is a nice mix of Doner, Adana, Chicken Adana, Lamb Shish and Chicken Shish kebabs and served with rice. I am a lamb fan so we added the lamb chop. Again, each item is distinctive from the next and I'd be hard pressed to pick out my favorite from the great choices. My only disappointment was the size of the lamb chop but I absolutely cannot praise its flavor highly enough. Thank you to Pasha's staff and owners for an enjoyable evening with great service and great food.

The food was great, we tried vegetarian eggplant stir fry and sauteed vegetables, both were very tasty! Unlike many middle eastern places, the quantity served here is not overwhelming (was just right), so I appreciate that! Overall definitely recommend to give it a try!

I absolutely love Mediterranean cuisine, though I’ve never had Turkish food, I was expecting more flavor. Maybe it could be just me but it left little to be desired and did not keep well as leftovers. The meat - as I know it to be prepared is mixed with spices and herbs but I tasted NONE of that in the chicken. The rice is not basmati, maybe jasmine but I think they could use a more flavorful rice especially since the meat isn’t well seasoned. It was a very bland experience. I ordered the Chicken Adana and they should really provide two scoops of rice to balance the protein portion. I got Doogh which is a Persian drink- I forgot what they call it in Turkey, anyway, that was the more tasteful part of my meal. The atmosphere is serene and I hate that the food doesn’t match cuz I would definitely take myself out here to read had the food been good. Glad I came as I passed this place sometimes and was curious but I won’t be returning.

Randomly picked this place while in Houston, and don’t regret, whatsoever. Authentic food, very hospitable staff, and unique atmosphere. Served us fresh pressed (drinkable) olive oil with bread, halal meat mixed plate with rice, and delicious kunafa. The food was well flavored that sauces were not even needed, though there were available. Also had their fresh hot tea with the dessert. Complimented perfectly.

Dinner comes with fresh bread and oil, coffee tastes great. Beef stew was underwhelming - beef is tough, small portion of dry rice. Lamb yogurt kebab was delicious! - very tender meat and yummy sauce.

Food is definitely yummy! Place is cozy and awesome. Desserts were delicious. However try to get there 3 hours before their closing time so that you didn’t get rushed.

Family owned and operated with love and culinary expertise! Mustafa his wife Zahara and the entire staff put 100% into every morsel served! We love Pasha and have never been disappointed with anything we have tried from the menu! Tonight was an especially delightful mixed grill of beef, chicken, and lamb! We enjoyed the quaint atmosphere and quiet time to have pleasant family conversations!

I am giving this place five stars because... In my life of living in U.S. for about 10 years, I searched for a place that could serve Adana Kebab with Ayran. My craving satisfaction came true with Pasha in Houston. This place has a very friendly service, and delicious food at a reasonable price. We ordered shish kabobs, adana kebab, and ayran. Soup or sad was a part of the weekday/weekend lunch deal. They brought us delicious tandoor bread with oil dipping at no cost. We traveled all the way from Conroe, TX to this place and it was worth it. The only thing that could have been better is rice that was served on the side. Traditional turkish rice comes with vermicelli and this one did not have any and was not as flavorful as could have been. Overall, I highly recommended this place because it is as close as it is going to get to Turkish kitchen in America!

DONT HESITATE TO COME HERE!! While looking for halal restaurants online, I came across this place and knew I had to bring my family here!! The food, atmosphere, and service was beyond excellent. Our waiter was so pleasant to talk to, and even gave us complementary Turkish tea. We ate the kabab platter, hummus, #13, and khunafa. It’s a great place to come with family and friends. Will definitely be coming back!!!!

I was charged 109$ for really terrible tasting food. Their drinks were overpriced and none of the food really tasted that well, it was a waste of 100$ in my opinion. The food there looks like it’s luxurious but it’s basic food that you could make in less than 20 minutes.

We absolutely adored Pasha!! The Manti was absolutely stunning, so flavorful and a great texture! The hummus, chicken adana, and ali nazik were also so delicious. We can't wait to come back when we make it to Houston again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

Came back again and got the beef shish kabob. The lunch special comes with some bread, a side, and a main plate. the bread smell and tasted delicious. The owner told us it was freshly made. The beef was amazing and staffs were friendly! Absolutely recommend!!!

Absolutely delightful! The Pasha Meze Platter is a must try (didn't even get a pic, we ate it so fast!). All the appetizers are so good and this way you get to try them all! Lovely in house made bread and dipping oil. The yogurt kabobs (pictured) are delicious and tender and the sauce complex and comforting(we had them with lamb). Both times we've come during off hours so it was nearly empty and quiet with wonderful Turkish music playing softly. This great little hole in the wall is a must try!

Came in for lunch; beautifully dressed restaurant, but I was only here for the Pide which did not disappoint. The service was attentive and some of the best falafel I have had in a while. Worthy of repeat business

I tried the yogurt kebab with lamb and WOW it was some of the most tender and delicious lamb I've ever had! Great portions and service. Thank you to Semaa for making the experience extra incredible! I wish I lived locally because this would definitely be a regular place of mine to eat.

Loved the family owned authentic vibe. The food was great and service was friendly. My friend and her family goes here almost every week. Pasha Meze Platter was great to start off. And the Lamb kebab plate was great for a main! I enjoyed the ice tea too. Thank you for the delicious food!

This place keeps disappointing. Food and service used to be good a few years ago. But all recent visits are associated with old/tasteless food and rough customer service. Dish on the photo is an Iskender, that was made of a regular stir fried meat chunks ( if you know that is not the way it is supposed to be) had 0 flavor. After the server/owner asked us about the food - I replied that the dish lacked salt. At what she pointed at the table salt saying “you’ve got salt” The whole situation was anecdotal, even though the food was terrible, here is the star for a good laugh.

  • 5/5 Hasan H. 3 years ago on Google
I got the mixed platter for two which came with a bunch of different meats and rice and they all tasted great !! Also got the cheese meat spring rolls (not pictured) and that was also delicious. Lastly, i got the kinafa for dessert and the top was nice and sweet and crispy to perfection. Owners were super friendly and nice and i will definitely be returning soon.

Last week was the first time we went to this magnificent restaurant. But It is definitely not the last time. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the excellent service, with the exceptional meal and booze and with the honest payment. We will no doubt visit there soon.

Can't say for sure if it is the freedom of eating out after 3 months, but the food was great. I had one small part of a kebab that was a bit burnt, but no complaints other than that. My wife and I had the mixed grill for two. It had a bit of everything; lamb, chicken, beef, shawarma and kebab with rice and vegetables. For desert we had the rice pudding which came with cinnamon and pistachios. Service was excellent and the entire place was well kept, clean and decorated tastefully. Definitely worth a try if you are downtown by Rice and the museums.

I can’t say enough great things about this place, the food, the family who owns it. The pita, hummus, yogurt, doner, dessert - perfect. I wish we lived in Houston so we could become regulars! Also, their COVID-19 precautions are well-done. Gloves, masks, distancing - I felt comfortable the entire time.

This is my new favorite resturant, and it was complete chance I ate here. We were looking for a dinner option open late, and they saved us. They are open until 10 (last dine in seating at 9), are very COVID conscientious, very very friendly and oh my goodness the food!!! I would have said before visiting that I didn't like Turkish food- I guess I just never had it made right! I've had a half a dozen dishes so far (I've been almost every night since discovering it) and all have been amazing. They have very limited outdoor seating, but there are a few tables for those that enjoy the Texas heat or are trying to be as safe as possible with COVID. A really wonderful place, would recommend!

My family came to celebrate Eid and our server told us happy holidays the second we walked in, which was so sweet. We ordered a large meze platter and it came out right away, we indulged in that with their complimentary home made bread. We also got a family styled kebab platter called the Pasha Mix Grill Plate. The kebabs were juicy and the serving portions were great! We topped off the meal with a kunafa, which is a must try cheesy dessert! All the servers wore gloves and masks as well, so I felt very safe dining in and celebrating here during these odd times. I will be back again!

Pasha is a great restaurant located in the Rice Village area in Houston. I’ve been here several times and each time the experience has been warm and welcoming. The staff is very attentive and kind, and the food is always fresh and tasty. Recently I’ve ordered out and everything is always packaged with care. The complementary pida bread is always served warm and the zatar dipping sauce is addicting. I recommend ordering the lebnl (goes amazing with the pida) and slgara borek, these two appetizers are a must for any order. For main dishes, I recommend the grilled salmon, lamb chops, cheese pide (Turkish pizza), and the vegetarian lahmacun. Each main dish is served with rice and a salad which makes for a very complete meal. If you still have room for dessert, then you can't miss out on their oven-baked rice pudding, it's delicious! I'll definitely keep coming back and ordering out!

Nice and cozy restaurant, conveniently located and easy to find. The service was prompt and the staff friendly. The party was larger than the Covid restrictions currently allow but the staff was nice and set us up while complying with the guidelines Food was fresh and delicious. Wait staff provided some good recommendations. The platter was delicious with generous and tender portions of a variety of meats. Definitely try the freshly made kunafa. Parking is available at the front and back of the restaurant.

This is a mediocre Turkish restaurant. The place is small and kinda stinks . The food looks much better that it actually tastes and doesn't have much flavor to it at all... I've given this place two tries but I don't think I'll go back there again. Edit : I was there about 5 months ago, way before pandemic and by "stinking" I mean it smelt like a moldy musty old place.
