Jumped through hoops to try and cancel my membership after I provided a doctors note of my broken foot. Paid an extra month just to get out of it and was assured by the manager Sara that it was all done after that. 3 weeks later they charged me again. Avoid this SCAM of a gym. Only want your money and dont care about being decent human beings to people.

Arrived this morning around 11:00 am looking to get a tour of the facilities. The front desk staff and "manager" were extremely pretentious, rude, and told me that "I can't just walk in here, we're a private facility". They refused to arrange a tour for me. I would hate to be a member here.

Very rude front desk staff. Disrespectful and condescending. Facilities are ok, but not worth the insanely high prices. Would not recommend.

I guess I should have looked at the reviews prior to signing the contract. I had been thinking of joining even prior to the gym finalizing construction, but opted to stay at my boutique gym, because I loved the atmosphere even though I paid more. A year an half later approximately I decided to try something different and asked Equinox if they offered any trial period, which the sales woman said no free trial but after you join you have 1 week to cancel and then the manager said their is no grace period what in the world! So less than a month into going there I was just not happy with my training options, crappy front desk people and well don’t get me started with some of the individuals that go there!!!! So I wanted out and to cancel membership within less than a month of joining. Long story short you have to jump through hoops to leave this place and currently still paying for this membership and I am not a happy camper! I finally did cancel but still waiting the 30 days. Funny thing is they had the audacity to send me a survey well I sure told them what I thought! Manager called me that same day offering no help what so ever!!! Word to the wise if they are not willing to give you a trial period it’s for a reason WALK AWAY PEOPLE!!!

Initially I was very interested in joining, after speaking to a sales agent (Andres or Andrew?) I soon noticed that the disappointing reviews this gym has definitely live up to the gyms low standards. Andrew, the man whom which I spoke to was unwilling to help me understand how the gym works with insurance plans and seemed a bit annoyed that I was trying to get clarification as to what needs to be done to get me enrolled. Will not be apart of a club who has unprofessional employees. Please tend to how your employees speak to people. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Do yourself the favor, don't enroll here Lifetime Fitness is a much better choice.

Not a bad gym until you want to cancel. People I spoke to on the phone had no idea what they were taking about. Canceling because I am moving was told I just needed to send in a copy of my lease before I moved. After I sent it in I was informed there is a 30 day waiting period which the original manager said nothing about. All they want is your money and once they know you are leaving they treat you like garbage. If that’s not bad enough I was unable to use over 600$ worth of personal training sessions which of course are non refundable and non transferable, none of which they tell you when you sign up for them.

Called and was connected to an extremely arrogant and rude membership consultant. If their attitude on the phone is any representation of the experience offered, I'd advise taking your $165+/month elsewhere.

Be very careful about how they charge your card. The seemingly nice managers told me my cancellation request was processed and of course, I still got charged two month later.

Buyer beware: I have emails with the staff backing every single claim made in this review and am working towards taking legal action against the Houston, Texas Equinox. Sexual harassment runs wild here. The people reported are spoken to and nothing ever comes from the reports. I’ve spoken with the Regional VP and he let me know there was nothing they could do about a specific situation, and I saw the man I complained about in the gym, staring me down one day later. This was never dealt with, and I felt unsafe. AC in locker rooms was out for 2 months, equinox blamed it on the rental complex and waited for 60+ days, blocked all entrances and exits. Cafe has been closed due to a lawsuit for over a year, never opened during my year here, and was constantly lied to, told it would “open soon” at time of signing in August 2022. The steam room in the women’s locker room, one of the only amenities in the gym, was broken for 3+ months starting in 2022, and has broken on a continuous 3 month basis due to a faulty generator that is currently not being planned for fixture to avoid “more closures of the steam room”. (????) Make up wipes were out of stock for months due to “supply issues”. Their homemade deodorant was out of stock for months also due to “supply issues”. This makes the least amount of sense because it’s just essential oils in a $0.99 spray bottle so…it was just missing months and I guess that was the only reason they could give for it. Very limited machine and weight selection. Only 4 true free weight benches. No pool, or outdoor area. Very small gym, limited classes, horrible hours. Gym closes at 10:00 but showers and steam room close at 9:30 for cleaning, which I kind of understand…but the cleaning staff constantly starts to stack chairs at 9:00 on the dot, making the entire locker room unusable. These are things agreed upon via contract, minus the cafe, which the VP (Tom Krieger) explained to me. Im left to assume its normal practice to lie to potential and current clients about the expectations of said cafe. When I pointed this out, I was told it wasn’t a contractional agreement. am left to assume this location has directed and encouraged their employees to lie about the cafe opening. PS this is the 2nd lawsuit the 2 different contractors in the Equinox Cafe have had against the gym in 2 yrs I’ve spoken with the manager at this location, Leann Sloan, which as you can see by previous reviews here she has earned the reputation of being a less than pleasant person to interact with…not exactly a fan favorite, to put it nicely 😅. After voicing my complaints to her and being consistently clear on my preference to keep communication through email, she interrupted me mid workout frantically asking me to “speak with her”. After politely declining and redirecting her for the 4th time to communicate via email, she huffed, rolled her eyes at me and walked away without another word, in the middle of the gym floor. After this, I got into contact with her boss (Tom K) ,who offered me a free month as compensation. I declined and decided to move forward with legal action. I’ve joined lifetime greenway and have never looked back. This gym is a joke and makes the company in itself look bad- I now understand how they found themselves in such a hefty lawsuit this year, and I predict there’s many more to come. Fix your gym, and fix your management if you want to be held to the standard you’re trying to achieve. The 3.5 rating on what should be a 5 star gym for price point and location, should tell you something. Also: READ YOUR CONTRACT. This is a YEAR LONG COMMITMENT, be ready for that. Lifetime does month to month and allows you to attend ALL their locations. I just got back from NYC and went to 4 of Lifetimes locations. In comparison with Equinox, each lifetime I’ve been to is cleaner, has more amenities, more machines, more weights, more space, more locations and more professionalism. Do your research before you join! Good luck on your fitness journey! ☺️👍

I've been a proud member of Equinox for over a decade and have had the pleasure of using their facilities worldwide, from London to Miami. Each time I've traveled, I've been allowed to use the facilities without additional fees, making my experience seamless. However, during my recent visit to the Houston branch, I was disappointed with the service. I was informed that there would be a $45 fee to use the facility, just to change. While I respect an establishment's policy, it's disheartening to see such inconsistencies across branches. Moreover, my interaction with a staff member at the front desk was far from pleasant. As loyal customers, we expect courteous and professional treatment, even when there are policy disagreements. I hope the management will take this feedback into consideration and ensure consistent policies and staff training across all locations. -

Joined 7 months ago after visiting a couple Equinox gyms in Los Angeles. This one does not compare in terms of amenities and ambiance. It’s rarely super crowded & most trainers are very friendly. I like the fact that it’s usually empty when I come in (9am - noon) Other than that, the sauna rarely works. There is no smoothie bar. There is no pool, and rarely enough space to lounge or work on my laptop. I have been kicked out of the aerobics room twice without the slightest courtesy or politeness (so the trainers could set up a class that started 15-20 minutes later. Rather than simply invite me to the class. I was just asked to leave in a condescending & awkward way. Definitely could have been a different conversation) My first week there , a trainer threatened to cancel my membership for taking a selfie in the locker room that was completely empty, until she walked in. I would never take a selfie with a person in the background so that intensity was shocking considering I’m a paying customer who considers myself very respectful. After that single interaction, she’s never said hello, or anything else that was hospitable or pleasant. It’s really just a good place get your workout in, nothing more.

Unfortunately I fell in the trap and subscribed, I’ve only been there for 10 times the whole year, it’s so hard to cancel the membership, or reach the management,I even asked for freezing the account, they haven’t responded, gym is not exclusive or anything.definitely not worth 270 a month!! My advice don’t donate your money. ((((At this time, you are within your first year of obligation, meaning that the earliest we would be able to cancel your account would be on 12/07/2023. The only way to end earlier is for medical reasons or relocation.)))

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They lure you in with a $0 initiation fee, but they don’t give you ANY information in regards to billing schedule and they fail to inform you that you’re stuck with them for 12 months. When you try to cancel, you won’t be able to (which is crazy because what’s the point of even having a cancellation option?) unless you either move 25+ miles away or provide a doctors note (after being forced to stay with them for 30 days). When asked for a corporate number, the GM basically stated that it wouldn’t help anyway- “They’re just going to route you back to me.” So you can’t even get any type of resolution. The customer service was poor and this gym is DEFINITELY not worth the price for the amenities you do get, you’re basically paying for the “atmosphere.”

WOW, what a robbery. Be very careful about PT department. They lie to your face like nothing. I have been charged for all the sessions I communicated with my trainer. They even did not say anything until the end. I have all text msgs showing that my PT is saying do not worry about it, he will take care of it bla bla bla. And here it is 1200 loss. Very very shady and they do not care about anything but $$$. It was legit Robery. Stay away.

This gym should be a 5 Star gym. I’ll gladly raise my stars if these concerns, which have been previously raised to the gym on numerous occasions are addressed: 1) the gym is lacking overall equipment. It literally is about only 65% of the equipment you’ll find at any other equinox club. 2) lockerooms: the bathroom/ stall area ventilates to the locker area. Nobody wants to smell other people’s waste while simply changing clothes after a shower. The gym has doors that close to the bathroom area that could stop this problem, but they remain propped open. Really? Close the doors, folks! 3) when I signed up, I was assured services would always be up and minimal downtime. Was even told if something can’t be fixed in 24 hours, they simply replace the broken item. The men’s steam room has been down for over a week with no status or disposition given to the members. 4) social events: the gym often has promos going on. The staff sets these marketing/ promo events up at the top of the stairs when you enter the club. You have to walk through the promo/marketing event just to enter the gym. If you go to the locker room first, you’ll have to walk back through this circus again just to start your workout. I don’t know about the rest of the community, but I’m paying a premium to workout here.... I’d like some peace and zen. Move your marketing / promo show off to a corner or off to the side. You shouldn’t force your clients to be subjected to forced convo / further sales pitches or simply having to play human dodgeball to avoid staff / other gym members who have been stopped by the gym to join in on the promo/ marketing. 5) what I love: The instructors are awesome. The showers are nice/ soap offerings are nice. Generally the space is spread out enough to where I’m not having to workout ontop of someone.

Edit: client services reached out and apologized, but no recourse, refund, or credit was provided. I asked for a refund or credit to rejoin when I move back to NYC and was told I would get an email back after taking with a manager, which did not happen. I followed up, and my email was ignored. I expected better. - I could not be more disappointed in customer service regarding their lack of covid precautions. I came to them saying I felt unsafe because of the actions of Equinox staff and hoped to put my membership on hold but was instead hassled and met with excuses. I had been a member in nyc where I loved my experience, but moved out of state and eventually landed in Houston. I joined just before the variant had taken hold, and felt comfortable at first even though there was no requirement for vaccination or masks (state law, not Equinox’s rules). However as the variants started to get worse, it seemed precautions were loosened. I was in a yoga class, in a closed room full of people without masks, where the instructor told us to breath in deep and exhale with our mouths wide open. This happened at the *peak* of the variant. I could not have gotten out of the gym quick enough and did not return after. I felt things would pass and I’d just get back into the gym after the holiday so I didn’t say anything even though I was appalled. Things didn’t get much better so I asked the gym if I could put my membership on hold until the end of summer, when I return from my cottage. I also asked for a refund for the past month I didn’t attend as it was the actions of Equinox employees that made me uncomfortable visiting. I was first given weak excuses as to their cleaning practices, basically told I had no reason to fear covid at the gym because they disinfected things - not at all addressing the concern I came to them with. Frankly this gym is not nearly as clean as they state but that is beside the point as that’s not how covid is spread, but they are not living up to their ‘covid clean’ regardless. I was then hassled, and felt mocked for my wanting to be safe in light of the covid situation. I was told I cannot cancel, I was ‘offered’ as if it was a huge favor to put the membership on hold for three months, at my expense. Knowing I’d be at my cottage by then, I asked if I could simply cancel and rejoin without a fee this fall as I had already payed the joining fee twice (the first being NYC). It felt like the person I was talking to expected me to be grateful at the privilege of getting to pay to put my membership on hold just long enough for me to leave the state and was annoyed I didn’t say thank you. I’m not sure if the person I talked to was just having a bad day or what, but I was shocked by the passive aggression that came in my bringing this up. I was given every reason why my feeling unsafe was wrong and that I had no reason to leave the gym. At no point was my concern over the actions of the yoga instructor even mentioned. I was told I needed a doctors note, or proof that I had moved more than 25miles from the club in order to cancel the membership. I ended up needing to send the mortgage statement for my cottage to prove I moved and only then, after more passive aggressive tone and paying for another month, that my membership would be terminated. I ended up here a very short while. I attended maybe 10 yoga classes, the 10 most expensive yoga classes of my life. But really it’s not the stupid sum of money spent on a few yoga classes that upsets me, it was how I was treated when I came to the club with a concern. I know asking to cancel and come back without another joining fee was a lot to ask, though it shouldn’t have been, but the response I got made me loose so much respect for this ‘health club’. If Equinox contacts me to make this right I’ll update this review. Frankly I had thought I’d be a member at Equinox for a very long time to come, and as I just found I need to move back to NYC maybe I will consider returning up there but I need the company to reach out to me directly and correct this first.

This location allows for random people to create an account under your name and *try to* hold you liable for a 12 month term at the MOST EXPENSIVE package they offer - and then harass you for credit card info. I told LeeAnn the assistant general manager that I never have ever spoken to membership advisor nor signed anything. I explained that I had no knowledge of this account being opened as this was a “gift” from someone and they still said I am responsible. That means I could create 10 different accounts of peoples names and have them liable all for payment. The way they run the Houston location is highly unethical and is so off putting to know that is how they operate. As a “prestigious” gym, I would have thought they would do the right thing and ethically run things. LeeAnn will not respond to my message - last thing I said was I suspect there is fraud going on if an account was opened in my name without my knowledge. Waiting to hear back. I have spoken to corporate and they told me it was wrong of them to allow someone to make an account under my name and without my consent. I hope this gets resolved soon because this is shocking that they conduct business like this. Also might I add - I called the location today to just receive confirmation of how they do business and I spoke to Andrey or Andres and asked if I can open an account without someone’s consent and he said yes absolutely with no hesitation. UM WHAT? HIGHLY unethical!!! I said who would be responsible? He said I would not be responsible, but whoever’s name i put on the account. Ummmm! SHOCKING. So hold someone liable for something they have NO idea about? Makes sense…? Yikes. Definitely somewhere people should stay away. Seems like shady business is going on there.

Whoever gives a low rating, I imagine, are biasedly upset and use Google as a coping mechanism so don’t take those into account. This gym is absolutely state of the art. It’ll be the best money you spend on yourself, and sooner than later you’ll find yourself addicted.

Visiting Houston and decided to check out the only Equinox. The club is really nice. Plenty of room and equipment and didn't feel crowded at all, even around 5pm. My favorite part was the view from the rowing machines. I dinged one star because this is the first Equinox I've been to where they don't provide bags for your sweaty workout clothes. Otherwise great experience!

Thieves. After being out of town I noticed a charge for a training package without my approval. I didn’t make a fuss about it as I knew I would use the training sessions in the future. They marked me as using the training sessions when I was out of the country. Instead of them correcting the mistake they gave me the run around and would not listen to me. I offered to show them my travel history and bank statements but it was like I was dealing with children. Unless you have $1,000 to throw whenever THEY please do not sign a contract with these people. Terrible business ethics.

After reading the reviews, I called to cancel my appointment. And for some odd reason was transferred to the most unprofessional individual ever, after I told her I was canceling she told me I wasn’t on the schedule. Um, ma’am, I’ve been receiving reminder emails and text messages since I made the appointment, but ok. That’s even better. You all need to get it together, you’re in River Oaks!!! After canceling my Equinox membership in response to consistently terrible experiences in San Francisco, I find this location to be no different. On the whole the members are friendlier than SF, which is consistent with the different cities. But you have so many entitled people claiming several pieces of equipment. Today a guy walked directly on my hoodie without even acknowledging me or that he did it. Equinox consistently has the worst gym culture in America, I’m certain of that.

I have never been treated in such a horrible way by any organization. When I had a concern, the administration would not speak to me, call me back or hear my concern at all. Instead I was humiliated and turned away. In my experience, the current administration is stunningly poor at managing a client's concern. I would definitely advise people against joining.

I came to Houston for work from New York where I’m a member at equinox. We are still in the middle of a pandemic and it’s shocking to me out of about 50 people working out only 3 were wearing a mask. When you think people would be there for their health it just shows they do not care about health. Theirs or the others. Shame.

Overcrowded, in particular due to having a trainer-focused environment. If you come from 7-9am, most of the lighter dumbbells might be missing, and you’ll spend 10 minutes waiting for an open bench because of trainers reserving unused benches with towels or weights for clients to come back to. I’ve been kicked off a machine twice because the trainer needed it. The response from the training staff is they don’t really feel this is a problem, and seem more concerned that I am raising the issue. Still like the location and availability of locker space, if only they would share the weight room a little more so people can workout efficiently instead of always working around the personal trainers.

Club is nice but small. Classes are good. For the price i think it closes really early on weekends. They don't let you use the mats which are inside the class room but they don't tell you that in advance. Please check before signing an agreement. The salesperson will rush through signatures and not let you know that it is a 12 month contract. They basically lie by omission and then will not let you out of the contract. Lifetime Fitness is so much better.

I was in a year contract with this club and brought in a friend who signed up as well. I moved over 21 miles away and provided proof of my move. They will not let me out of my contract because it has to be 25 miles away with no exception at all. This is ridiculous considering traffic in Houston and that most gyms have done away with contracts all together. Poor customer service even from the manager LeeAnn. I do not recommend joining.

I was a member at Equinox River Oaks for 1 year during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. I was very pleased with my experience. I used Equinox because it was less crowded and seemed "cleaner" than big box gyms or smaller, boutique fitness studios, and it observed social distancing prior to December 2020. Lifetime and the Preserve are comparables, but the Preserve seemed kinda small and Lifetime is next to that mega-church. From January to March 2021, I was probably going to their classes 5x/week, and I was pleased with the quality of their classes. I had a very easy cancellation process, with good communication from their managers, since I'm moving somewhere without an Equinox studio. I'll continue to use Equinox+.

Overall, its a great atmosphere to work out in. I enjoy coming here everytime. But I would encourage senior management to hire more competent trainers hence I give it 3 stars. I hired one of their trainers who told me to eat more to lose weight when I was working on toning my midsection. Horrible advice! Almost laughable if I hadn't spent nearly $3000 on training sessions.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to read through the one-star reviews to figure out that those reviewers seem to gripe about everyone and everything. But I digress. Equinox River Oaks is a great gym. It's on the smaller side, which I prefer as compared to huge multi-level gyms where you rarely see the same employees there on any given day. I go 4-5 days/week. The classes at EQX are exceptional; they have everything from yoga to jump rope (so hard!) to hip hop dance to kickboxing to spin to really hard HIIT classes that nearly make me lose my lunch! The manager, Rebecca, is fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about how she helped me with an account issue. Has anyone ever told me to lie about how to cancel my account as stated below? Um, no. Does their contract clearly state you have to give 30 days' notice to cancel? Yes. It's not their fault people don't read before they sign. Are they trying to sell memberships to people? Yes, they're a business. Do I get a benefit from the business? Absolutely. Is anyone giving me anything for this review? No. The group class instructors are awesome, especially the group fitness manager, Corey, who is seriously awe.some. The facility is very clean -- in fact, there is someone cleaning literally every time I go -- the spa is great and the steam room has worked every time I've used it. There is an occasional machine that is broken, but they're always fixed by the next day. The Equinox staff works hard to help when you have questions, and always give alternate options in group classes which I appreciate. I joined before the facility was even built, so I've been a member for 2+ years and won't be cancelling any time soon.

Just joined and the signup process went smoothly. You've heard the beef -- too small and no pool -- and frankly I would've stayed at LifeTime Greenway but for the trainer bringing his boombox onto the weight floor, 85 decibels, borderline hearing loss. Both LifeTime and Equinox are well maintained, but I would give Equinox a nod for being slightly less crowded, ironic since LifeTime is much larger. Equinox is older but you wouldn't know. Even though it's small you can do a serviceable workout at Eq. Other differences are LifeTime's parking is dedicated and it opens at 4am. I tried Equinox's "eucalyptus" steam room to see if it would help my sinuses and all I smelled was the typical gamey steam room smell, but it was nice and hot. The Kiehl's shampoo/conditioner they provide made my hair feel great. Maybe someday Equinox will build a facility like LifeTime Greenway so I won't have to belong to two gyms just to swim. If you have trouble finding Equinox, it's right near Harry Winston, Rolex, Patek Philippe, and Christian Dior, lol.

I'm providing a 5-star review with the hope that constructive feedback can be considered. It appears there are areas that need improvement, particularly in the professionalism and friendliness of the front-facing staff. Comprehensive training for managers and staff is crucial, and the possibility of recruiting a new team might be worth exploring. Drawing from my experience managing a gym successfully, creating a customer-friendly environment is achievable. Addressing these issues is essential, as the current negative reviews may be impacting the gym's reputation and potential for attracting quality clientele. I believe improvements are possible, and I encourage the gym to take action.

Up until today I looked at equinox is a good gym to go to. A little overpriced considering it’s small and they don’t have the smoothie area set up still. I’ve been to gyms with a quarter of the price and I’m just used to having a post workout smoothie to grab. When I signed up back in October I was told soon. Here we are 4 months later and still nothing. But that’s not my main complaint. Up until today, everyone in equinox has been so welcoming and nice and breathe of fresh air. Until today I was verbally attached by a woman in the bathroom area stating that I need to put my phone up there is no cameras allowed, mind you she came at me very rudely. So I immediately become defensive, because 1- I didn’t have my camera on and 2 I’m a member paying my good hard earned money and this is the behavior I have to deal with. I then stated to her, who is she to demand anything, she then said she is a manager and that she would get the GM to handle this. The GM name Leeann Sloan, she immediately took her the other ladies side and did not ask me a thing. The original lady could have said to me with no aggression in a nice tone and this could have went completely different. I even said to Leeann the same thing and she still continues to take her side. Then the original lady stated I could get my membership canceled if I used my camera, I stated to cancel it. I’m totally fine with that, I can go to another gym for less and not have to deal with this and have a post workout smoothie. Also, YES I brought race into this because If I was an older lady of the same color as the original lady I guarantee you that she would have spoken to me with more respect. I am a professional and would never speak to my patients that way. It took my FRIEND to properly mediate the situation so that it wouldn’t continue to escalate, which I thought would have been Leeann’s job. I brought my friend there because she was thinking of getting a membership, but she was completely turned off about that entire situation and how it was handled. I will not be renewing my contract once it’s expired.

For what you get, Lifetime is a much better option in Houston. The money they are asking for the club offering and one location? Pass quickly. If it was that good they wouldn’t need to lock you up with a year contract. Borderline scam in Houston. Better options in the city. Oh and they are not minority friendly especially at the corporate level. They’re on the decline. Writing is on the wall for this company.

I was a member here for about 2 years. I stopped coming for about a year as I joined 2 other gyms with friends. I ended up rejoining recently because I see how great the facility really is. If you live nearby or you enjoy the truly top notch classes they offer, it is 100% worth the monthly fee. These classes include yoga, HIIT training, strength training, stretching, cycling, barre, dance, and more. All of the group fitness instructors always take time to introduce themselves and get to know you so you feel like you’re a part of a community that pushes you to come and get your money’s worth. There is also a spa that is amazing. I have gotten a couple hydrafacials with Candi and I have recommended family and friends to go because she is so great! The one bad experience I’ve had was with a personal training manager, so I stay away from personal training. The gym and locker room is always clean and even when it’s at its most busy, it does not get too crowded. The locker rooms are equipped with a steam room and plenty Kiehl’s products like shampoo, conditioner, face moisturizer, body lotion to make sure you leave feeling clean and hydrated.

Love this gym. I've been a member since they opened in December 2015. This gym in particular fills a niche with their classes that no other gym in Houston provides. For one price you have access to hot yoga, cycling, regular studio cardio/strength training classes, pilates, barre... everything you can think of! Ordinarily a yoga or barre membership is going to cost $100 plus a month and you only have access to that one particular type of class. Here you pay a little more but you have access to a wide variety of classes and access to a regular gym. The instructors are amazing. Andi, DK, Macy, Jessica, and Chad are all amazing....the list goes on and on. The locker room is beautiful and always kept clean. I come out smelling like a grapefruit after showering with the lovely body wash. I love the steam room. You get what you pay for here. Additionally, the GM, Rebecca, is delightful to interact with. She was very helpful when I had to freeze my membership due to an injury and always makes herself available to members. Highly recommend.

Worth every penny! Signed up 3 months ago and noticed a difference in energy, strength, physical health and mental health. Taking advantage of the classes included in the membership as well as personal training sessions is showing me the results I am looking for. I was introduced to JB Bowen at the start of my membership and he made it his mission to help me accomplish my goals I have presented to him. I love the workout challenges he gives me every session. No other gym has provided even half the quality that this one has. Love the vibe and how friendly the staff is there.

I have been a member of this place for four years already and all I have is positive things to say. The front desk staff is very nice. I enjoy talking to them. I hear quite a few negative reviews about them. But I always had a good experience. I did not have a good experience with three of their trainers. So I decided to train outside of the club. But overall this place is the best. I have been a general manager at a restaurant for many years and I can tell you that Rebecca (the general manager) is one of the best managers I have ever met. She is amazing. I have never met her personally. But she is great. She will take care of you. I also hear negative reviews about issues regarding to money. Rebecca has always taken care of me. Even if it was a money issue, she would fix it right away. I wish the club would raise the monthly premium to over $ 200 a month. That way the club would not have to deal with so much negativity.

I signed up for Equinox last month, and honestly, it's been a great move. I was getting tired of the not-so-great conditions at other gyms. The $220 monthly fee for one location might seem a bit high, but considering what you get, I think it's worth it. The dressing rooms are seriously impressive. Everything is neat and organized, making it super convenient, especially if you're coming straight from work. No more searching for things—I appreciate that. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the switch to Equinox. Pros: The place is swanky, and the equipment is top-notch. It's always clean, and the staff is friendly and on point. Cons: The steam rooms, though. Ugh. They seem to be on their own schedule - out of service more than I'd like.

I really enjoyed my experience here and only left when I moved away. The price can be higher then other gyms, but I felt it was worth it because of how often I used the group classes. The amenities are nice and all of the staff was very friendly.

Equinox has good equipment, but it's very busy most of the times. It is also an absolute nightmare if you need to cancel your membership. Some teachers were incredible (e.g.: Callie from the Precision Run class), but others were kind of rude multiple times, if you were just a few minutes late for the class or if you didn't know how much weight to lift. I personally do not recommend and will not be renewing my membership.

This is one of the best Equinox locations I’ve ever been to. It’s massive, has the full selection of machines, and a gorgeous view of the high end stores in the mall. It also has plenty of tables, couches, etc. to relax or do work.

My experience to this branch was pleasant overall. It’s big, bright, clean and good PR classes. Couple of the showers were dirty and the knob didn’t work in one, but others were alright.

I have been an Equinox member for about 2 years and have been extremely pleased the entire time. Equinox has amazing group fitness instructors that will push you to your max, but still tend to making sure each person feels welcome and accomplished. I have my favorite instructors, but I don’t think you can go wrong with any Equinox class! I do workout on my own and the entire facility is well taken care of, and usually not too crowded even during “peak” hours. The locker room has the Kiehls amenities everyone loves, and most of the front desk is very friendly.

This is a great place to workout and I would say that it is worth every penny. We went there to join and met Sarah. Sarah was awesome and made us feel very welcomed. She showed us the whole club and took a great interest in what we are interested in. She signed us up for a trail running class are the class was awesome. The place is very clean and the steam room and shower area has the best products as well. Sarah also worked with her boss to make sure that the Membership Plan suited our needs. I look forward to joining the club soon and having a great time.
