I love my secret little, actually big, Club Westside. It is amazing on so many levels. Linda and the staff take such pride in offering a magical place to visit in this big city. We need to support the club now more than ever. Covid has been damaging for business and prior to this unusual Houston Freeze and Snow Storm the club grounds were full of tropical palm trees, botanical flowers, plants and foliage. Right now they are having to replant everything and start over. I love so many aspects of this club, but mainly the lazy river, the outdoor adult pool and hot tub at night under the stars. That's the best! Come join in on all the fun and good times.

For some families, this is where their kids have grown up, I can tell by the way the teens run the place. I support & join many compliments and complaints mentioned. Very happy to hear that renovations are on the way. The sauna for example. There are shower heads and lights that should have been replaced a long time ago. Almost half the locker door locks need fixing. RINSE SHOWERS NEXT TO THE POOLS ARE MUST-HAVES!! both for convenience and cleanliness. If owners and managers are swimmers, they would support rinsing off by the pool. The wind and AC chill during the distanced walk is unpleasant. And we need to rinse swim equipment too. Those who think pool water is clean = delusional. Yes, parents: teach the kids to rinse ( and pee) BEFORE jumping in the pool!; wash off dirt and sweat and protect skin and hair from absorbing too much chlorine. Supporting the complaints about adults who bring their kids to Adult Only areas. Please respect those who need time & space without children. I think the office folks need to make clear to new members as to the parameters of Adult times and areas. I also see towels being piled in the bathrooms where there are no bins. It should be easy to put Towel Drop in the bathrooms near the resort pool, and please fix these showers.

We been members for more than a year, have a 1year old and he is the main reason we signed up! He is always sick and the new baby sitter for babies doesn’t have patience because is only one person in the area and they are left to cry all the time! Not happy and decided to cancel my membership for this reason! Hope owner hires more people in the daycare and see if the employees love working with kids!

My family and I joined Club Westside earlier this year and have spent a considerable portion of our summer on site. Overall, we're very pleased with the club. The staff is outstanding - warm, helpful, and always taking great care of the guests. The breadth and quality of the amenities and generous childcare offerings make the monthly dues an outstanding value for anyone, but especially for families with young kids. Our kids love the waterpark, the free-play arcade, and the sports zone. I'm impressed with the gym, the lap pool, bowling, Jurassic Park mini golf, and of course the tennis facilities. The grounds are beautiful and are generally maintained to a high standard, although a few areas like the adult pool are showing their age. Our only complaints are two things that aren't really the club's fault, but that prospective members should be aware of: -The location isn't the greatest. Traffic on Wilcrest gets rough during rush hour, and turning left out of the club can be difficult if not dangerous. -The club is VERY crowded during the summer, especially on weekends. This wouldn't be a huge deal except that we've dealt with more inconsiderate fellow guests here than at any other similar club we've visited. Recently, our six-year-old was traumatized by another child's father after a disagreement in the arcade. As far as I'm concerned this should be grounds for immediate dismissal from the club. Other members hog the hydromassagers, hog the weight machines, claim a poolside lounge chair all day that they then use for just 30 minutes, etc. Not a huge deal but annoying nonetheless. I'm hopeful that the club empties out a bit after summer break and we can enjoy its offerings in peace.

Ok so I had two people individually tell me I needed to join. I thought they were moonlighting as Club Westside sales team with what they were pitching. It is an exceptional club with a bunch of well maintained courts. Kids have pools, putt putt, batting cages, indoor soccer, indoor basketball court, zoo animals, an area to play arcade and bowling. adults have their own pool and a bar upstairs with a decently equipped gym and cardio machines. in my opinion they could do with another squat rack and a proper 7 1/2 feet of the ground straight pull up bar but in context of what the rest of the club has to offer it really is a bit of a gem.

Club is amazing for options and stuff like that with tennis, water park etc… I wanted to teach my son how to lift (he’s 15) but there’s no option to let them in the adult gym to teach him how to deadlift, bench and squat rack. They have a gym for younger kids but it doesn’t have any free weights., nor stair master, elyptical and things such. Kinda wished they still let parents train their kids

Love Club Westside! Truly a gem in Houston. Lynda is such a sweet person and it's very clear she loves what she does. My children and I have loved being members for several years. My only criticism would be the restaurant food quality - I do wish that could get a total revamp. But other than that - the amenities and the staff are really wonderful. We are blessed to be members!

Wonderful amenities! The kids saw flamingos, monkeys and even giraffes. Then they were able to do some trampoline and volley ball. Finally went to the family room where there were arcade games and bowling games. We had a lot of fun!

Family oriented, hotel resort style type of place / social club. IMO, it's 90% geared towards kids. The only real adult things are the adult pool, and the gym which are both pretty decent for the cost of the membership. Parents will drop their kids off and leave. Or, parents let them run around while the adults gossip / talk about each other and get drunk. Seems they are trying to phase tennis out as they are slowly removing courts and making the place less about tennis. One thing I find ridiculous is the security. Security is a joke. Just say you are Uber or picking someone up and you can drive right in, park and use the club for free. For the amount you pay for this place, that is just unacceptable. I will suggest if you are curious about the club, take a free tour and sign up toward the end of the year when it's cheaper. (Like June / July because they close the water park in fall.) Overall, for families, or people who work or live nearby, I do think this place does offer some value. However if you are coming here to play tennis, the glory days of tennis are long gone.

Great day out for kids. We are not members but have came on several occasions for gatherings and birthday parties. They really cater to young kids and families. So much to see and to do for the kids and a great way to beat the Houston heat. The resort style pool is lovely and has slides for the kids & plenty of seating! If we lived closer we would join for sure!

I recently became a member of the Westside Club in Houston and let me tell you – it’s been a game-changer for my family and me. The club is an all-encompassing haven for recreation, fitness, and relaxation, with an impressive array of amenities that cater to all age groups. One of the highlights that enthralled us is the exotic animals housed within the club – giraffes, monkeys, birds, and flamingoes, to name just a few. There is a huge aquarium right in front of the main lobby and it is a delight for little kids. The gym at Westside Club is expansive and immaculately maintained. The variety of fitness classes offered is exceptional, and the massage center is an oasis for relaxation. There’s so much to explore that I still haven’t had the chance to experience it all. For families with little ones, the daycare center is a big relief. It is spacious, well-kept, and offers an engaging environment for children. I am thrilled with the multiple indoor and countless outdoor tennis courts. The indoor sports arena is nothing short of spectacular, with offerings such as trampolines, golf and baseball practice areas, soccer field, basketball court, ping pong tables, and an additional gym. The tennis ball machine is a noteworthy addition here and it was fun to use it and when no one else shows up, it can be used for extended period of time. For my family and I, the water park is the best attraction here among so many others. The slides and the serene lazy river transport you to a tropical paradise. The lush greenery that surrounds the water park is meticulously maintained, and it feels like you’re on an island getaway. The Family Zone is an entertainment powerhouse with an arcade, jungle gym, bowling alley, kiddie golf, and party rooms. The family pool and lap pool are extensive and well-maintained. Keeping swimming pools in pristine condition is no easy task, but Westside Club excels in this area. The cleanliness and pleasant smell are notable. Almost everything at Westside Club is impeccable. However, I must mention that a section of the staff, could improve in friendliness. Additionally, the responsiveness in fixing down games could be better.

Love this Club. It's an adventure around every corner. It's got so many workout options. Great place for family's. Place is full of beautiful plants. It's an oasis in the middle of the city , with birds giraffes and a variety of monkeys. So very grateful to have such a place to go too.

Club Westside is a way of life for many families that live on Houston’s westside. I cannot say enough good things about this facility, the value and the professionalism of the staff. Our kids have grown up here and we will be members for years to come. Thank you Linda and the Westside team for offering such amazing facilities for Houston residents.

I originally joined Club Westside for it's tennis, and it has so much more. The waterpark for kids and adults alike during the summer is the best in the city. The gym and facilities are great and it's the type of place your whole family can find something they enjoy doing. They have recently added some new Paddle Ball courts as that is becoming very popular!

A Tennis Haven at Westside Tennis Club😎🎾 I recently joined Westside Tennis Club through an invitation from a friend, and as an ardent tennis player, I can’t recommend this club highly enough. It’s perfectly tailored to anyone pursuing tennis professionally or passionately. From the moment you step foot on the property, it’s apparent that every aspect of the club is optimized for dedicated tennis players. Multiple outdoor and four indoor courts are impeccably maintained. Every nook and corner breathes organization and cleanliness, a testament to the club’s commitment to providing the perfect environment for tennis. Beyond the courts, Westside offers a fully equipped gym that isn’t overly crowded. The friendly, professional staff contribute significantly to the welcoming atmosphere. A standout feature is the availability of multiple tennis ball machines on a dedicated court. The club’s assurance that if one machine breaks down, another is ready to replace it, speaks volumes about their attention to detail. While the club has diverse offerings to attract families and kids, its heart remains steadfastly dedicated to tennis. I’m delighted to have joined this club, and despite a 30-minute drive surpassing many closer options, I can affirmatively state that compared to many clubs I’ve visited across the United States, Asia, middle east and Europe, Westside Tennis Club outshines them all. However, I’d suggest the club could further enhance its tennis-centric environment. Initiating competitions, creating a system to connect high-level players, and implementing a ladder cup could foster a more vibrant tennis community. Finally, I must express my gratitude towards Nigel, the club’s manager. His dedication to the club and its members’ experiences is evident. His efforts significantly elevate the club atmosphere, and I am grateful for his unwavering commitment. In conclusion, my experience at Westside Tennis Club has been thoroughly enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend it to any avid tennis player looking for a community that reveres the sport as much as they do.

Westside is a great stop for a family outing! Plenty of activities and fun for everyone. They have several pools, tennis courts, pickball courts, bowling, indoor volleyball, basketball, gym, kids indoor play , arcade games and more! I was amazed at all the rescue animals they have. We fed flamingos, and saw giraffes, mini cows and monkeys! The food could use some more work, but other than that, everyone had fun. Even the teenagers! So stop by next time you need to get the family moving!

We love Westside! Only time we've had a membership we truly enjoy and use as a family. I do wish the childcare was more accomodating to Toddlers, but hopefully this is something they improve.

I am very dissatisfied with my experiences with the gym, regularly when I go there after a workout, they have no one running the front desk. And when I ask for service, it takes an eternity and they rarely do something about it. Besides that, it’s a nice place. But this is something they need to attend to.

Generally a good experience with the facility. Enjoyed the lazy river and tennis class. On site day care is convenient. The only complaint I have is always long wait for the tennis court if you go in the evening time. With daycare closing at 9pm, we generally get to play 30-45 mins as court won’t be available until 8:15 or 8:30….

We absolutely love being members at club westside. The pools, fitness, tennis and animals plus all the other amazing amenities and free events. It’s the best place to spend our time away from work and home I. Houston!

Great place! Went for a birthday party in the family playroom and it was definitely fun. Didn't get to know a lot of the club, but will look some more information as the membership seems to be worth.

I love Club Westside. The staff feels like family. The owners of the the club know about customer service having owned a very successful furniture local furniture store. This is not a place for those that are looking for pretentious and aloof environment.
