This is my new favorite place! Went last week, and it was amazing. Everything is fresh and delicious (but, also healthy), especially for the price point. The lady working there was super friendly and helpful. I made my own bowl with the meatballs. My husband got a mix with chicken and lamb, and we both loved everything. We were able to find parking right in front, as there was only one other customer there at the time. I imagine if it gets crowded street parking might be necessary. TLDR: highly recommend this place, and can’t wait to go back!

First time today, the staff was very friendly and explained to us the details of how and what. The food was delicious, and clean. Had the Saffron Jasmine Rice, two meats( chicken and lamb), and toppings. Both chicken and lamb are tender and full of flavors. The rice is perfect. I loved tactouca, and cauliflower topping! We sit outside in the alley, it was beautiful and clean, and also made me feel like I was in the street alley somewhere in the Mediterranean.

We came for dinner during an unfortunate time when the cafe and other places around the block had lost power, and were pleasantly surprised to see plenty of other patrons rushing in to order food before things went bad. We went with the marrakesh beef bowl, the casablanca lamb bowl, and a tasty morrocan shrimp bowl to round things off and enjoyed all of them tremendously. The number and variety of dressings and sides make for a unique experience for everybody in the party.

Absolutely DELICIOUS, fresh, REAL food and affordable! Each menu item is prepared so well with individual flavors and spices. I’ve been twice in the past week and each time was consistent, fresh and MORE than delicious. Abel and Marieleny were extremely friendly and provided the best service. Be sure to take advantage of the samples of your not sure how something may taste. Keep in mind these are bold, authentic North African/Mediterranean flavors way different from American food and that’s an amazing thing in my opinion. This establishment is clean, well kept and cozy. Try the complimentary tea, you won’t be disappointed!

I found it so similar restaurant concept to CAVA. Affordable and delicious - nutritive bowls. Exotic sauces and dips additions. Also the customer service was excellent.

We have ordered the family style meals twice now and they are PERFECT for us. So many options and everything has amazing flavor. We also have a family member with a gluten allergy and the menu is great for this. We can't wait to share with our vegetarian family members also! Shout out to Alexis (Lillian location) for helping me out this morning!

Honestly SO GOOD. They use so many spices in the dishes, and it feels like everything can go with everything!! The people serving us were very nice and suggested drinks that we hadn't noticed haha (I attached a picture of the wall menu). The chai tea was really good iced with a bit of vanilla flavoring added! And all of the dishes we got were delicious. I highly recommend the saffron rice with lamb and hummus (which is made with fava beans) and lemon spinach and all the good stuff you can choose. Really worth it for the price, and they were quick and nice. Thanks!

2⭐️ service and 3 ⭐️ food. Price is a bit high, upwards of $10 a bowl. Food quality and taste is ok. Concept is good and they are also opening a location in Bellaire. Service is quite poor. Very slowly and seems like everyone except one person (seemed like the most competent person there) lacks training and skills. Pretty much don’t go in if there is more than 2 people ordering because they they will be slow and you won’t have a good experience. First person got the rice and protein and then just stopped making the bowl and started making an online order while we just stood there in front of her - lady was not even phased that there is a customer standing there and decided to focus elsewhere. Cashier then mixed up everything and packed our plus the people behinds ours’ food into one and charged us for everything - when confronted to void and recharge the right amount he acted like nothing was wrong. Eventually after multiple tries the one competent person stepped in to fix the issues.

My friend I chose ZOA as a new spot to try for lunch. The staff were very friendly, letting us sample the protein choices and even recommending the best toppings for each meat. The food was flavorful and reminiscent of a Mediterranean flavor palette but clearly its own cuisine. The restaurant itself is set up like Chipotle, and we chose to eat our bowls in their dining area. They also had free samples of hot tea that was very delicious. If I lived in Houston, I'd go here regularly!

Delicious food and friendly staff. We tried their fez sandwich and Casablanca one. Both tasted good and fresh and filling. Good food for the price. The staff were friendly and answered all our questions. We sat at their patio and it was very nice.

Wow. This is such a beautiful little spot in The Heights. The food is SO fresh and served in excellent portions for the price!! I ordered the Tangier and couldn't help but smile when eating it - it is truly a mood boost to enjoy something so balanced and new. Phillip and Roger were incredibly helpful on my first visit, so you'll definitely want to meet them too! If you are looking for a unique flavor to add to your dinner rotation, you've found the place. Can't wait to come back!! ✨

I got the lamb with saffron rice, eggplant and peppers, spinach, cucumber and tomatoes, Serrano sauce, mint sauce, and a brownie. All of it was amazing. The packaging was nice and so was the staff. It was cheaper and waaaaaay better than chipotle.

Ordered from ZOA Moroccan recently and it was a hit! The food was fresh and super tasty. Loved the variety of ingredients they offer. If you're into trying new flavors, definitely give ZOA a shot - you won't be disappointed. Perfect for a quick online ordering!

ZOA Moroccan kitchen is One of the most decent restaurants for quick healthy grabs. One of the most incredible facts about this restaurant, in my experience, has been their consistently on the taste of their food. I have been to the restaurant a few times, my first time there I didn’t enjoy their food, I’m not sure why, maybe because they were new at the time; but when I gave them a second chance and went back, they did manage to surprise me with their upgrade on their team and great foo. Their employees are accommodating, patient, and on top of their game; they give you suggestions, keep the place clean, change their gloves after each customer, and they do not cross-contaminate. They are, in my opinion, a Halal Chipotle Moroccan Fusion. I recommend you to create your salad with their beef Tangier and your choice of sauces. Their Moroccan tea is also good but too sweet for my taste. Although their bread is a bit stiffer than Moroccan bread freshly baked in Morocco, however, for a local restaurant in Houston, it is pretty damn good.

Hands down the best fast casual place I've ever been to. The food is always delicious and high quality. The desserts too. The staff is always professional and really friendly. It must be really well run, and they know how to hire great people. There's always space and it's clean and fast... Oh and the price is even good. I can't think of anything more I would want from a restaurant. Oh wait, literally right after typing that, one of the staff members brought over two cups of delicious tea for us on a rainy day. I mean come on... 7/5 stars honestly. New favorite spot in Houston. Support this place!

My co-worker suggested this and it was incredible! Very fresh options and the meats are seasoned to Morrocan perfection! Got the bowls and it will fill you up for just $10 bucks per person. The flavors are wonderful, fresh, exotic, and aromatic. I cannot more highly recommend this place.

Really good food! They have some great flavors. This was my first time at this place and moroccan food. The people there were really helpful and nice in explaining the food they have to match my taste. They also have wonderful outdoor seating and patio area. The food portion is ample.

Such a cute place! And good food! I got the vegetarian option they have called Rabat. It tasted really fresh and flavorful. Also tried the Moroccan pancakes with Nutella, which were soooo good! Plenty of outdoor seating here.
