👍👍 This is the building I work in. It's a lovely place. Underneath we have Starbucks, Sonic, Chick-fil-A, Panini, Paradise Gifts, among others. Lots of nice people take care of our building. You can access the tunnel system also. 5 Stars!!!! People often mention building, tunnel,

My favorite building in the downtown business district! I worked on the 10th floor for a couple of years, shortly after the building opened in 1975, and it is still as modern and futuristic as it was then. Downstairs, the hub of tunnel shops and all activity is here.

As you enter the lobby, you are immediately emmersed in the enormity of the space. The lobby must be five stories high ceiling. It used to be the Bank of America building so off to one side there are the immortalized tellers that used to bustle with customers. A giand old timey clock is anchored in the center, pulling you forward (I think you that without that clock I would have just stood there looking up!) On the way towards the immortalized teller displays a nondiscript escalator leading down, will take you into the tunnels. The connecting tunnel underneath is close to a Chick Fil-A and Starbucks and a host of other foodstuffs.

It has a wide variety of restaurants from chick filled a,ottos, cookie place, panini, which witch, a Chinese restaurant, and last and not least Starbucks. It gets full most of the time during lunch hours. the restaurants close early on Friday.

You can find a fitness center on the 2nd floor, and plenty of breakfast/lunch fare in the tunnels (basement). Coffee, sandwich, desserts, flowers, and even basic necessities. Access to virtually any building downtown without walking outside is a plus.

Perfect example of post-modernism. You can tell why this building is the most award winnings just by walking into lobby. They also have some really cool elevators

Houston Pennzoil Place is one of the downtown buildings with Tunnel access and is near the bus stop I use to go home. It is a nice building and there is seating in the lobby to view the bus stop. This is good since outside construction prevents sitting outside. This is bad because the seating in the lobby - the chairs - are way too low. I needed help to get out of them.

This is by far one my favorite spots to be downtown Houston tunnel because it has all the food I like to eat and comfortable places. Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, which Wich, convenient store, Mexican food, a cookie store, seafood and much more. Also there are not a lot of public restrooms in the tunnels that you can access unless you work in the buildings so this is another reason why this is my favorite.
