Don't buy from here. Especially gifts. Got my dad a watch maybe $400. Held it for a week or so before Father's day and on the day of, it turns out it was small so I asked to return it, lady said she wouldn't take it back because it's been worn and started looking at it with a small magnifying glass. I said, how has it been worn if it didn't fit him and it's been in the box since I bought it? Plus she never looked at it that close and the details she pointed out were already there from before. People do wear the jewelry there a lot and wants to say my dad wore it and she couldn't return it. She just didn't want to. Says everything is untouched. So Instead of fighting her any longer I asked for extensions. They arrived, I went back and turns out they ordered the wrong color extensions and what did she do? Got pieces from another watch and put them on this one. "Stock/never touched" my as. Never purchasing from them again. Watch out, make sure you do your research and don't get ripped off. (ALSO, NO I WILL NOT EMAIL YOUR EMAIL FOR ANYTHING BECAUSE YOU GUYS DID NOTHING TO HELP LAST TIME)

For my 40th birthday my parents gifted me a large aquamarine that was my grandmothers. The stone itself is knuckle to knuckle but was dwarfed inside a large shield setting with colored diamonds and ruby and emerald accents. I asked if it was ok to change the setting and with my mom’s blessing I went to helzberg at memorial city mall because another location had created another ring for me that I love. Once there I showed them the aquamarine ring and my custom ring and told them I wanted something similar for the aquamarine. Gwen, the store manager, took me inside their private, in house design studio and sketched out my design and even took it further by suggesting we add two diamond accents on the side. I love finding new places to wear diamonds so I loved it. Kristal, the sales associate, worked with the jewelers and design team and brought my vision to life. I showed my mom the 3D rendering Kristal sent and she loved it. She even said she had a few loose diamonds that she had taken out of another piece and said I could use them- making my custom ring even more special. In the end we upgraded the 2 diamond accents to 6 so the rendering had to be redone but Kristal worked her magic and made it happen. From start to finish it took less than 6 weeks!! (would have been faster if I hadn’t added more stones and design have to be updated) I absolutely LOVE this ring and it’s even more special because it has my moms and my grandma’s stones together. A BIG BIG thank you to Gwen and Kristal for all their hard work and putting up with me and all my changes and to the rest of the staff that always greeted me by name and made me feel like a celebrity every time. Also thank you to the jewelers, artists, craftsmen who made my vision a reality!

We bought our wedding rings and engagement ring from this store, initially when my husband bought my rings he wasn’t sure about my size and they told him they could help him resize ring for free if necessary. When we went to resize rings they told us that there was going to be a charge so it would be better to get warranty so he bought it. When I went to pick up the rings there was a balance, now we also needed to pay for the other ring which to me it was very overpriced since the amount to get it resize was about the same as the warranty so ended up getting a warranty for that one as well. Not to mentioned that they didn’t even gave me back the gold they took from the rings, other places do that and charge way less for doing what they did. Also, I called them to ask if they could send it to my house to the address that they had on their system because I am not too close to this store location and they told me they couldn’t do it because they needed to charge my card and couldn’t do it through the phone to me that was crazy because other jewelry stores even do free deliveries when purchasing half of the amount we spent in this store.

My experience at this Helzberg Diamonds store has always been very pleasant. I recently visited for my usual inspections. Rita was quick to assist me. Dev helped with completing my inspections, while Rita helped me with deciding on a new purchase. They worked very well together and are so kind and professional. I did not initially buy my wedding ring here but I took it to get fixed because it broke and also needed deep cleaning. I picked it up on time but I asked them to double check if it was cleaned correctly because it looked like it still had paint on it. The part where it broke looked fix but just after 3 months it broke off again in the same place. I was charged a hefty amount for both services and I am disappointed that I am not able to say that their services were satisfactory. Here’s a pic of broken ring again.

Helzberg is the only place we purchase jewelry. My husband and I have made many purchases at Helzberg dating back 10 years when we purchased our wedding rings. Every time, we have had excellent customer service and left with beautiful jewelry. Today was no different except for the fact that the service and experience were even better! Adam Martinez met me as I entered the store with a huge, warm smile and walked me through the purchasing process with patience and an understanding of what my needs were. He helped me choose the right piece, the right pymt plan, discount options, gifts etc. He was kind, informative, and very thorough. Never pushy or demanding, and did not make me feel as though he was just trying to make a sale. ordered a setting for my stone. I specifically asked to be set with stronger prongs and they assured me it would, since I said it several times, I was sure It would be done. I was so disappointed when I saw my request was ignored. now they quoted me $240 to do it.not to mention the 1 hr drive. also quality of setting was not good. since we had a big transaction I expected quality service. guess I was wrong.

I went in to ask a question. I was greeted by Ms. Rita, she walked us through the process and helped us schedule a watch appraisal. My husband and I just went to our appointment yesterday and are very happy with the results. She made us feel welcome and answer all of our questions. We are very thankful for all of her help.

In summary, ask for Jose and avoid the skinny Indian? lady (not trying to be mean just forgot her name) Overpriced and pushy. I was first helped by this lady I think her name was Sara? Just so you guys know who to avoid she’s skinny, maybe Indian? She was pushy on me trying rings on - I wanted gold and she said gold was ugly on me, told her I didn’t want a single diamond and she told me I should wear one anyways, told me rose gold isn’t high maintenance (which it is that’s what makes it vintage). And then she was pushy on making a purchase THAT DAY. I’m only in the beginning stages of shopping around for rings, and for you ladies who are as well, you should be able to look at multiple options and make your own informed choices. You should not be bullied by sales women into making an immediate purchase. I told her I wasn’t buying a ring that day, and she said why not. I told her we’re just starting the process, and he’s going to pick up the ring when he’s ready so that it’ll be a surprise to me when he proposes, and she said well it’ll still be a surprise even if you take it home today. No other place I’ve been to has been this disrespectful of my decisions. I wish I had looked her in the eyes and just said “that’s very pushy of you I will not be buying a ring from you, thank you” instead of trying to be nice. But as soon as she heard this she ushered over someone else to help us and walked away. Now if you do want a Helzberg diamond, ask for Jose. He’s the one she ushered over to help us after we told her not today. He was very patient, gave us his business card, wrote down the ring we wanted, and told us that they would be there for us whenever we’re ready. I’ve never gone engagement ring shopping before, so I didn’t know what to expect. I was worried that everyone would be like that lady, but let me tell you, it’s not. You absolutely don’t have to buy the ring day 1. It’s expected you’ll shop around, and every other ring place I went to was extremely respectful of this fact. In fact, this lady was the only time I experienced this. Your experience should be like how Jose treats customers. If it’s how the lady treats customers, don’t be afraid to walk away. She doesn’t deserve that commission. YOU are the one getting engaged. Don’t let anyone push you into spending money in anyway you don’t want to.
