This gym is horrible, If I could give them 0 starts I would. I'm never the type to leave reviews but this most definitely needs to be addressed as soon as possible. I been a member of this location for a couple months, my boyfriend has been a member of fitness connection for 3 years. We moved, so we been coming to the -federal- location because distance wise from home is convenient. All the water fountain's in the gym have been OUT OF SERVICE for a month now. They finally fixed the one near the men locker room, and the filter is dirty (Red light on for maintenance). Filter light has been like this for 3 weeks now. There is 6 StairMaster's, which 4 of them are out of service. Then also the mens SAUNA has been OUT OF SERVICE for weeks now. The employees are horrible at this gym, extremely unprofessional. They start rudely kicking people out the gym at 11:45-11:50pm when they close 12am. I been asked really impolitely at 11:40, to leave the sauna. Last week while my Boyfriend was walking to the EXIT of the gym at 11:54 an employee came with an attitude an proceeded to tell him "You need to get out" my boyfriend explain he was walking to the EXIT, the employee followed by saying "I been making announcements for 15 min, we are CLOSING you need to get out". Mind you my boyfriend had noise cancellation headphones through-out his workout, and he proceeded to leave when it was close to closing time. This was 5 min before closing.. The manager is nice and polite but he has a horrible Team. I've worked at multiple Gym's before and customer service, especially front desk is what represents the Gym; and they sure make the gym looks extremely unprofessional and make you feel unwelcomed; when you come in and when you leave. This is extremely inconvenient.

The first thing I want to say is that the truth is that I feel scammed by the poor work of this place, when I took out my and my wife's membership, the contact was for a year, I put my automatic payments on my card and in the end we only went for 2 months I didn't cancel the membership at the gym to wait 1 year so they wouldn't charge me for breaking the contract, but as the year passed they kept discounting me. I always thought that when the contract ended they shouldn't continue charging me but when I called they told me that I had to go in person ok ok I was already upset because of that I canceled on day 1 and after 15 days they deducted 50 dollars and they didn't say it was for maintenance of the year I told them which year I had already canceled and of course that year they are charging me already I canceled which I think is totally unfair and to tell you the next month passes and they deduct my monthly payment again but from 1. TELL ME IF THIS IS NOT A BIG SCAM, I need an answer now

I went to try out Fitness Connection to get a more affordable gym. So I decided to download the 5 day free pass to see if this gym was the right fit for me but when I showed the lady at the counter by free day pass she said only a manager could approve it and that I could pay $15 to use the gym for today so I took myself back to 24 Hour Fitness and renewed my membership. I didn’t like the fact that she recommended me to pay $15 for one day when membership is $10 per month. I feel like she could have been more welcoming and her customer service skills need more work. She could have recommended a tour or offer me any deals with membership since it’s January and most gyms are. But Sometimes you pay more for good service and quality so back to 24 Hour Fitness I go!

This gym never opens on time. They need to address this because some of us are on a time limit to work work because of our jobs. If who ever can not make it in time needs to let the manager know so they can fix this period.

I've been a member of this gym now for about 3.5 months, and I can honestly say that I've enjoyed my membership so far! There are a ton of machines for every person's workout needs. I enjoy working out early in the morning or super late at night to avoid crowds. There are tons of sanitizing stations throughout the gym for cleaning equipment. The fellow gym goers seem pretty nice, one person helped me change a bar on cables when I didn't know how. The womens restroom and showers are always very clean every time I go in there no matter what time of day or week. My only complaint is I wish they did have more cable machines other than that I enjoy coming here and will continue to.

This place needs to replace lots of equipment gear that is already missing and repair lots of broken equipment im pretty sure there making lots of money and for them to always have excuses for not to replace missing gear ,,please someone take care of that before this notice goes to corporate thanks

How do you not know the customer service to your own establishment 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ been having trouble with this place for a full on month, I’m just trying to work out and I’m going back and forth with these useless people. They gave me the wrong customer service number TWICE, cannot find me in the system even tho I paid 37$ and can see I had a previous account with them before, my goodness these people will not help you at all

It's quite crowded all the time. Plenty of different machines but the general crowd who frequent this facility act like they have no manners. Still all eyes on me every time I work out.

Make sure you read/remember your contracts, me n my girl was gonna start using our home gym 🏋️‍♂️ but it'll take 99 bucks to cancel for each of us, which is 4 months worth what I already pay. Unless we stay with them until March 2024. So I have to pay to NOT use the gym one way or another.

Not the most reliable place to go for a workout. Machines are always broke, light rain always causes power outages, and employees might kick you out over random silly dress code rules. Only go here if you don’t mind the large crowds, and can’t make it to 24 fitness.

Great place to get to achieve your fitness goals I have been going here for years. They have personal trainers work out shops and even baby sitters for the kids while you work out great experience here and also with a certain members pass you can go to any of the Fitness Connection around the city of H-Town.

don’t bother going there after 5pm. it’s hella crowded. nobody has manners and weights are all over the floor staff doesn’t do anything about it. you got 1 person using 2, sometimes 3 machines at the same time. and they keep breaking in cars in the parking lot.

I recently joined this gym so far am very disappointed. I arrive at 5am in Morning and its obvious the employees do not put weights away. Also I brought this up with a employee and she was more worried about upseting the members,I am about ready to cancel my membership.

This gym is fair but smaller then the other location I’m use to visiting. I wish the sauna was not so tiny. The equipment is in fair condition but could use a deep cleaning. Can’t blame the gym for all of that. Folks don’t wipe down equipment after use. Staff is friendly

THEY ARE SCAMMERS First when I started in this gym they told me that I would pay 30 something for Yadira my cousin Geovany my friend and I after the 2 week they told me that I had to pay 53 dollars for each person per year and that was the only thing I had to pay per year. Today I checked my bank account and they had charged me 3 times 10 I went to confront them and they tell me that now I have to pay that every month for the 3 when they had already told me that it was only going to be 53 for each one per year and I told them that I wanted to break my membership and now it turns out that I have to pay 53 for each one to break the membership that the most follow perhaps they think that one is a millionaire they are scammers

Customer service is rude, and takes an hour to answer the phone. Clearly another short staffed company cutting corners. They charged me for two extra months from May - June 30. because I canceled on the 3rd of May. The gym is also always missing weight plates, forcing you to ask people for plates after they are done.

I would like to share and give a shoutout to Luis my personal trainer, he is super sweet, and even though I couldn't start my personal training right away with him, he was patient enough to wait on me until I was able to afford it. I just started with him about a month ago and have already noticed changes in my body and health. I owe a big thank you to Luis and for Fitness Connection on helping me achieve my goals.

Love this place!!!been to other gyms where they really don’t have that much equipment to choose from but here they got so much equipment :) cause I need to target different areas of this gorgeous body of mines and this is the place 💪🏼Very clean place too:)good price what more can you ask for !

It's a gym. Normally, busy in the evening and late morning. Parking is always hectic. Be sure to lock your cars. No security. Inside the gym, shower and restrooms are clean. I never use the sauna. But they do have one. I have a baby that I take to the daycare. Never had a problem. And they have a women's center.

The personal trainer Shelby is awesome. Great at explaining processes when helping with workouts. Patient and observant, also considerate to your whys and how’s. A very bright and nice person to be around.

I just now starting going back and the front desk is amazing, Shelton is nice, helpful and answered all my questions with a smile making me laugh really appreciate it. He is keeper and I have seen a lot of front desk people at alot facilities. Brenda is also too a amazing front desk. Lovely person beautiful smile. There is another kid too but it's amazing he remembered me the second time I came in. So cool . 😊 The cycle instructor on Monday nights is so nice and was so nice to me and music is on point. Sometimes I feel like I get singled out in class and I am just there like everyone else trying to get a workout and take away my pain due to loosing my mother. I widh I wouldn't be treated that way. Saturdays I just love, love, love the instructor is so amazing. We are like old school cycling she is phenomenal! Words can't describe how good she is. Brings back memories! Thank you fitness connection for giving me a little happiness 😊

Previous member of another national club for years but the equipment and overall facility quality not great. Fitness Connection is bigger, almost twice the equipment, and it’s a great environment, equipment hardly ever down and never for long and the team is Great!

please fix the equipment and consider cooling the water fountains just a little bit please 🙏 I love you guys but we can all do better and it starts with environment.

Afternoon is the worst. Rules are not followed. Not enough machines for the amount of members that show up at the time. Hardly anyone cleans after them even though they are sweating. Weights are laying all over the floor.

The facility is ok. They close down sections of the gym. So it gets crowded fast. If u plan on working out between 7 thru 9 its insanly full I dont recomend it. If these are gonna be ur workout times dont join
