Started
going
to
this
Planet
Fitness
recently
with
an
Active
and
Fit
membership.
The
program
includes
Planet
Fitness
Black
Card,
which
was
a
nice
surprise
that
wasn't
explicitly
stated.
I
needed
to
be
there
when
the
manager
was
around
to
activate
it,
but
the
staff
was
polite
and
let
me
work
out
on
the
few
days
I
arrived
too
late
before
my
membership
was
officially
activated,
as
long
as
I
showed
the
Active
and
Fit
mail.
It's
a
bit
of
an
older
facility
and
this
shows
in
the
wear
on
the
machinery.
There
are
tons
of
cardio
machines
available,
though
some
won't
track
heart
rate
well
for
the
built
in
programs.
The
gym
is
divided
into
clear
sections,
such
as
a
hips/abs
section.
This
was
a
bit
confusing
at
first
since
machines
are
across
the
gym
from
each
other.
The
free
weights
and
squat
racks
get
very
busy
in
the
evenings
after
work
hours
(around
6PM).
I
counted
9
benches,
of
which
4-5
were
adjustable
height.
This
is
a
bit
of
a
problem
since
people
will
take
those
to
use
in
the
Smith
assisted
squat
racks
(there
are
no
free-bar
squat
racks
that
I've
found)
and
then
there
are
only
a
few
left
in
the
free
weights
area.
In
addition,
there
is
only
one
set
of
free
weights
for
higher
weights,
so
the
chances
you
find
a
pair
of
weights
at
busier
hours
is
smaller.
There
is
occasionally
a
wait
for
the
squat
racks
as
well,
usually
do
to
a
group
of
people
occupying
a
rack
for
a
long
time.
I
often
saw
people
in
duos
or
trios
rotating
on
the
squat
rack
which
occupies
a
lot
of
time.
There
are
cleaning
stations
around
the
edges
of
the
facility,
which
is
a
bit
annoying
instead
of
being
able
to
take
a
bottle
around
but
not
too
difficult
to
get
to.
