a neighborhood cafe. surprised by the limited menu. great customer service. good coffee. love the patio. parking shared with the auto shop at the back. not quite sure why someone would come here over other coffee shops nearby tho. maybe the patio?

Found this place while getting my glass replaced next door. What a gem! Frendly staff and coffee that has much better flavor than the other big coffee brands. The owners take pride in this place and it shows! They do there best to ensure you enjoy your experience!

Popped in for a pick me up before they closed…our barista was literally the sweetest and suggested the sugar cookie latte. She made it to order, suggested some food options for next time we come, and even put on some extra love with the Christmas sprinkles. Will definitely come by again to try Moms soup!

Quaint little coffee shop near Montrose and the fourth ward. It's a little easy to miss while driving as it's in between two other buildings, but look for the large banner (pictured) with Native Coffee logo on the black fence decorated in vines. Parking is also a little tricky. You go slightly past the coffee shop and turn right at the mechanic/body shop. There's free parking in that large parking lot on the right, despite the parking signs threatening to be towed (confirmed by the employee at Native Coffee). Once you walk in, there's a beautiful patio and inside you'll find a clean, small coffee shop that looks newly renovated. The worker was great and I think I might have spotted the owner in the back working on sandwiches. They have a great menu but went basic and got my usual ice vanilla latte. There's roughly 15 tables and plenty of space when I visited. Only downside is that there were only a few outlets I could spot, but not an issue while I was there. Looked like they had a lot of customers from the neighborhood and a few from the car shop. Definitely check it out!

Such a cute coffee shop! The coffee was delicious and loved the ambience. We also tried the iced hibiscus mint which was refreshing. The owner is really friendly, too. Great service! Will definitely go back! 👌👌👌

Our second morning getting coffee and breakfast at Native Coffee and it is just lovely! We will be back! The mother son combo who run Native Coffee are so gracious and lovely to interact with. The coffee is phenomenal! I highly recommend the cardamom vanilla latte iced or hot & The overnight oats were filling & delicious!! What's best is their dog friendly and have been so sweet saying hello to our pup!

New spot for me in Houston. Parking is a bit tricky but worth the work. Atmosphere is easy and airy. Nice place to think and drink, or work on computer to get things done. I have a Cuban coffee with brown sugar. Something different and worth the adventure. Pastry tasted store bought. Will go again for the coffee.

A real local community coffee shop with personality and heart. There's a community bulletin board, food drive bin, and eclectic art referencing music and neighborhoods a Houston "Native" will recognize right away. Plants and chill music give a relaxed vibe. Great place to bring a friend or first date, or to study. Coffee was very good and service efficient and friendly. Yay! I love supporting a local Houston business. Don't miss the wonderful historic Gregory School murals and the Historic Freedman's Town marker when in the area. There is a lot of fascinating history in the Fourth Ward.

Cute coffee shop! Their choices are simple, which is a good thing. They offer the basic types of coffees - espresso, latte, regular drip, tea, and hot chocolate. Nothing overly complicated. They also have a small food menu if you're wanting a quick bite. Good place to study, chat, or chill at. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Everything about this place is special! The owner and staff are extremely friendly and inviting. They were very friendly to my dog as well, offering her treats! :) The cappuccino is one of the best I’ve had in Houston, and the brunch items we tried were absolutely delicious (that tahini & jelly walnut toast is out of this world!) we look forward to our next brunch there!

Native Coffee's spacious patio is decorated with lush evergreen plants and has ample seating space. It's an ideal spot to meet with friends to catch up over one of my personal favorites and their signature cardamom latte. And when you didn't think it would get any better, they dedicated a wall to support local small businesses by featuring their products!. Highly recommend it and will be back time and time again!

Coffee: pretty standard coffee, but not bad at all! I got an iced mocha latte and it was good. Sandwich: these people have extremely unique sandwich options that seem to change frequently. I got The Richmond, and it had toppings like chicken, crispy jalapeño, and green apple slices. I know it sounds weird but it was amazing. 10/10 recommend. Service: the lady working the counter was friendly and helpful! They seem super nice. Atmosphere: outside, the seating is beautiful with lots of plants, but it isn’t a great place to sit in the peak summer heat. Also, there is a car shop sharing a wall with them, so I heard a lot of drilling and hammering. Their music choice is very much pop top 100, such as passion fruit by drake, sza, etc. Inside, it’s pretty dull and grey. There is some nice decor and they have good AC, but other than that it wasn’t that cozy. Overall, it was a 6/10! I would stop by here to grab a lunch or coffee, or maybe sit here on a cooler day.

Coffe was ok. Not great in my opinion but good. The place itself is pretty cool. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoors is pretty nice. Parking is at the rear and there's signs that guide you. Staff was friendly as well. Good pastries.

Really neat atmosphere with parking available in the back. I was excited to get some good Persian tea and tried their Noon Panir which was DELICIOUS. Staff were really sweet and helpful, too.
