Access is via walking path via the John Forrest National Park location, NOT via Falls Road, where Maps try to navigate most people to. Just put John Forrest National Park into your navigation system and then walk to the Falls via the trails. :)

Excellent walking trails around historic rail routes with natural scenic settings and waterfalls for a beautiful day out. Free parking, barbecues, picnic tables, rest rooms, grassed areas and also a restaurant available at this park. Could be busy during weekends and holidays but still has ample space to accommodate.

Nice 800m walk from carpark. National Park fees apply. The falls flow through winter but After a good rain storm the falls are flowing best.

Visited in late August 2022...the water was running so fast and clean. Absolutely stunning. ๐Ÿ’ฏ

Iโ€™m unsure if I arrived at the correct place! Signage in or around the park is terrible. All access to water areas seemed closed off. I walked to where some water was running. Private property signs abound!! There appears to be no or very little parking at the end of the road where Google took me. Be prepared to walk a lot to this โ€˜water fallโ€™.

If you got leisure time do visit the place, far from the Perth city but view to city is great, although need good sunny weather without clouds.

Interesting waterfall, great trails around the place as well, but very little directional signage so took a while to figure out how to get around.

Lovely waterfall spot in winter months with a pleasant and picturesque walk to get there along the historical railways trail. The waterfall is normally dry over summer months but the nice rocks formations and views remain.

Average trail to walk, good for bikes and lots of space to sit and enjoy the falls.

John Forest National park, around 12$ for a car, cash or credit card on entry. Lots of BBQ spots and you can go for swim in the river. Great day out.

Always beautiful, it's incredible to see the difference between when it's flowing during the winter, and how it changes in summer.

The Hovea Falls is an easy walk from Carpark. And if your lucky, you may see native animals, like Kangaroos and Red-tail Black-Cockatoo, plus many other Birds. Over the past couple of months wildflowers have been plentiful.

Only about a kilometre and a little away from the car park. Nice easy walk. Great place for a picnic too.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Excellent little walk to the tunnel. Highly recommend using Google maps to park at "Swan View Railway Heritage Hub" as the trail to the tunnel is directly left to the Carpark. Even on sweltering hot summers day it was damp in some parts of the tunnel, recommend shoes you don't mind getting a bit di...

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ One of the many fantastic waterfalls in the Perth metropolitan area. An easy walk from the carpark at the top of Morrison Rd (intersection with Swan View Rd), and you get to walk through the train tunnel on the way as well.
