The food was great, but did not feel very welcomed by the German staff. In Germany you're not allowed to bring your own drinks, even if it's water from your bottle. Apparently I forgot this rule and the waiter was very unfriendly upon addressing, even shaking his head... I hope they manage friendlier services, because after enjoying some great food for a reasonable price of 58 euros, the head shake was definitely a turn off. Go for the good food, just remember to abide strict German rules or else you'll get a nono;)

There are only very few places in Dresden where you can eat authentic Asian food. The Korean restaurant Sura is one of them. Food has improved alot since I visited it the first time which was abt 3 years ago. I would especially recommend the stews .. very yummy. But all the other things on the menu that I tried were also very good. The staff is very friendly and the place is casual.

I have been to Sura many times, and it's somewhere I keep going. I keep taking new people to introduce them to such good food. I will not talk about the authenticity of the food, as I am not Korean. But, being a Korean food enthusiast, I do feel they come close to the mark. They have great Jiggaes (hot pot stews), which is an all time favorite for me. I also love a bunch of the Korean classics that they make. I usually go for dinner, so the evening staff is lovely. Just two people manage the packed dinner service and are very kind and helpful. I would totally recommend the restaurant if you want to try a new cuisine. Also, if requested, some dishes can be made on varying levels of spice and vegetarian.

Food was way too expensive for its price and quality. Service was really slow and servings are really small. Ambience was ok. Won't be back here. Abosolute worst korean place I've been to.

I love the fried chicken (5⭐️) and soju… service was ok. The only thing is location a bit hiding, i wish someday open in the center of dresden bcos u guys have a different food and absolutely love it.

Highly recommend it when in Dresden. Great food , staff and atmosphere. Staff speaks English and accepts credit cards which is a rarity in the Neustadt.

I love the food and service here, the crispy fried chicken in particular; it's the ultimate comfort food that keeps us coming back for more. However, it was very crowded today, we waited for 50 minutes to finally receive our dishes. The staff was very nice though. Worth the wait!

The guy who works at the front desk is a clown. Made a reservation for 8:30 and when I showed up he doesn’t except my vaccine status even though I have 3 shots. Because it hasn’t been a full 2 weeks since my third shot. What a joke of a restaurant.

I was hyped to come here since seeing a Korean restaurant in Germany. I was dissappointed by the place. The Jjangmyun was made with linguine pasta. The kangpoongi was not crunchy it tasted like what you get at an american chinese restaurant chicken was soft. The seolangtang was the best out of the 3. The banchan was bad, kimchi was bland, potatoes tasted like shrimp, eggplant was salty but was ok. Service was ok, nothing special. Overall overpriced, wouldnt come here again or recommend it

Finally some good korean chicken fry. Reasonable price, generous portion, authentic taste. Also kids friendly.Highly recommended.

Great restaurant with tasty food and friendly service. The kids menu is a plus. Parking could be a problem so plan accordingly.

It's alright. Fairly traditional Korean fare but the portion sizes are a bit small for the price. Atmosphere is nice, and service is good if not a bit slow at times. If you want Korean food, well, it's the only option in the area.

100% recommendations. Amazing food (dumplings are the best), great service and good ambience. It felt like back in Asia. Customization was allowed and staff helped to make drinks less sweet and food more spicy.

A lot of food choices . Not a place for single person. Menu is mostly made for 2 persons. Food is delicious also it's a bit pricey. One must try it once.

Most favourite restaurant in Dresden! Every dish is tastier than the other and they’re quite cheap for the portion they provide! Excellent service is only a Cherry on top! We’ve had kimchi jeon, bibimbap, teokbokki, japchae and so many other dishes that I forgot to click a picture of since the food was too tempting🤤😅 Been a regular customer of theirs since 2020 and I’d suggest advance booking during the weekend since they’re quite full and might deny you a spot! Happy munching!

We waited exactly one hour to have our first dish. They did not even say 'sorry'. The table next to us came to the place 40 minutes later than us but they received the food at the same time as us. This is intolerable even if today was Friday night. If they can not handle the order, they should not receive the customers at the first place!
