Very good hot chocolate, service is a little slow: the panini took over half an hour to come even though the cafe was pretty much empty

Very expensive for a small coffee and a very small portion of lemon cake (£13). It's a cafe trying to be something more, and failing. Nowhere near as many cake options as previous posters made out,

Slow service even though quiet and 3 people serving. £14 for a tea and a coffee with 2 slices of cake a bit pricey. Cake not quite thawed out either. Just being honest. However, nice environment and everything clean and tidy.

Lovely little cafe to have something to eat and drink. Both of us had a cream tea which was delicious. Everything was nice and clean tables were spread out and staff were friendly. Would come again when passing through.

Nice location, service a little moody. Food ok but a little pricey. Not a place for a breakfast just a quick coffee and sandwich.

Lovely place! A great selection of cakes (a must!). Kids loved it. We were a party of 10 and this didn't phase the staff. All the order came out together and efficiently. Great decor and really well put together. Would highly recommend this place.

We were visiting the beautiful town of Hoylake and was searching for an eaterie to enjoy a snack and drink. We were actually on the way to the next-door neighbours, Wetherspoons. What a beautiful cafe this is, established in an old bank building, the original wood panelling and fireplaces remain. The staff were superb with accommodating us. The pastries, sandwiches, and especially the coffee was supreme. Loved it, and the day was complete for us. If you are in Hoylake visit this establishment for a fabulous experience

Very pleasant venue. Good coffee, the soup was superb and with very friendly staff. One suggestion would be to turn the (good) music down a bit. Too high for elderly ears to enjoy a comfortable conversation. Maybe it was a one off. I will be back.

Very trendy and really cosy place. Great coffee, delicious sandwiches and the best sausage rolls. The stickers on the napkins are a lovely touch!

A gem for the Hoylake neighbourhood. We visited the Bank Cafe on Saturday as a bit of a change of scenery for us. We all enjoyed their comforting food, friendly atmosphere and great music (my 12 year old daughter was particularly impressed with the playlist) They have nailed the mix of keeping original features and making the place feel contemporary at the same time. We sat at the high table in the middle and felt particularly nostalgic about writing paying-in slips (or watching our parents fill them in) Smiles at service, smiles while eating and drinking and smiles on leaving. Thanks for a great start to the afternoon

Great coffee, light food and snacks in an old converted Barclays Bank. Thoroughly recommend a visit. It's quite small but with some outside seating. Update: still really good.

Lovely coffee. Nice ambiance. Helpful baristas. Will go back. Food looked good but we were just there for coffee and a chat. Enjoy!

😠 I have went to this cafe a few times in the past, however the last time i went was not a good experience. Food was very rushed and just thrown into a container with beans dripping out the side and all the food was stacked upon eachover (it was an english breakfast). Worst of all when i got home and...
